Too high in price found someone else.

rPat was very informative, as well as professional. He was punctual and courteous. He listened to my ideas and concerns and incorporated them in to the model. His response time and renderings arrived in my e-mail as promised, and he followed up with a call to answer any questions. Unfortunately, I had less money put aside than what is needed for this project, so I wont have the work done soon. When I am ready, I will contact Pat Scales Remodeling.

Pat came to our house to go over a bathroom remodel. The service was great. He is very nice and pleasant. He was prompt.

Pat and his wife are a wonderful team to work with. Communication was prompt and courteous. Pat arrived right on time and guided me through the process. He explained quite clearly how he cpmes up with an estimate and which elements were variable. Pat told me it would take about 2 weeks for him to come up with the design renderings and estimate. However, much to my surprise, it was in my inbox in less than 5 business days. I am very pleased with the design he provided and has given me the information I need for this phase of the my project. I am only in the process of getting estimates/ideas/designs (work to be completed at a future date) and Pat has surely set high expectations for the competition.

It went really well. I woudl say he really worked very hard to do what I wanted to do. I had a decorater that he worked with and he really went out of his way to do what was asked of him. There were several things that I didn't think were the way I wanted them the first time and he redid them without question, fuss or charging extra. The crew was always really prompt and polite. His crew always cleaned up after they were done and everything turned out just like we wanted it to.

Pat Scales and his crew were punctual and very professional. They did an excellent job in remodeling our 2nd floor bathroom. They were responsive, did everything to our satisfaction, and we are very happy with the outcome. I strongly recommend them for any bathroom remodeling.

After a couple efforts, able to schedule a site visit. Approx 500 sq ft with lots of drywall work and shower add in basement. Very rough est on the spot over $30k. Job was too small for them and out of our range and other quotes.

They were really good. They first came and gave us a quote. Then there were two guys that did hardworking and did all the work. The floor was rotting and so they repaired that and they upgraded the finishes for us. They were good in cleaning up and all that. It was dusty of course tearing everything out but they did a good job cleaning out and did a good job keeping things off and putting down drop coat so that the house stayed as clean as possible. So that was really impressive that hadn’t done that at all. They seemed very professional and both the people working were very good. They knew the business and did the work really well. We liked them at all. They were very competitive in terms of their pricing.

I engaged Pat Scales Remodeling after getting several estimates from different companies. His was not the cheapest, but was in the bottom third of the cost estimates I received. At all times during the estimation and design process he was very open to suggestions and alterations as my wife and I got a better sense of what we wanted to do. His designer was helpful in selecting a paint scheme across three areas that would have to tie together. He worked well with the city inspector's office and was able to make sure all permits required were completed and inspections coordinated. Pat's team was punctual and worked hard, often well into the night to stay on schedule. They did excellent work, and Pat was a constant presence on the work site, even though he had multiple jobs across the Central Ohio area. We were lucky in that the only mishap (if you can call it that) was the French Door we had ordered had come in the wrong size (not his fault) and he knocked 5% off the price of the door because of the inconvenience. I could not have been more satisfied with his work, and plan on engaging him for a deck extension, and several other interior projects.

Pat Scales is the highest value contractor I have ever used. All work was performed at or above owner expectations. This contractor has excellent communication skills, and even more important, excellent listening skills. He anticipates and resolves problems and issues, he is resourceful and creative, and he critically reviews all work done by his crews. He has become and will remain my go-to contractor.

They were on time and at and under the estimated budget Our house is about 200 years old and nothing is straight.. Pat Scales Remodeling replaced a kitchen floor that no other company would touch. And they did it beautifully. Home Depot told us that there was nothing that could be done to correct the floor and Lowes Home Store told us just to cover it with carpet. But Pat Scales Remodeling replaced the floor and installed laminate flooring. It is beautiful! When they installed the deck, they had to remove the concrete sidewalk, cut through 50 year old tree roots and complied with very strict Union County building regulations. We are very happy with the quality of work from Pat Scales Remodeling and will definitely contact them for future projects

Pat was extremely responsive to our concerns regarding our project, which was an emergency situation complicated by insurance company hassles. Pat treated the project as though it was his home, which gave us great comfort. The work was done quickly, competently and without drama. Subcontractors were required and that slowed down the timeline, but overall we are thrilled with the results.

Pat was easy to work with. He had a good handle on what needed to be done and at the best cost without sacrificing quality. He has a good handle on commercial building code and experts available when needed. He laid out a plan to replace old trusses that were damaged in a fire and reframe both floors. He had the task to get this old building up to code that had multiple violations over the years. His plan was accepted by Columbus building and zoning services and we were off to the races. Pat was also flexible to work with me and my handyman to do some of the work to keep costs down. I would recommend Pat Scales Remodeling to anyone that is serious about getting a job done correctly and on schedule. He makes sure things stay on schedule and on budget which is more than 90% of the others out there.

Contractor(Pat) did a fantastic job and works well with his remodeling team. The remodeling team cleaned up each evening before they left and were very courteous of our home. If the contractor(Pat) found something not finished to his or our liking he made sure is was overhauled to his our satisfaction.

If any company deserves to be on the "Page of Happiness," it's Pat Scales Remodeling. Pat and his crew, Mike, Eric, Doug, did an outstanding job that exceeded our expectations. Pat is an outstanding contractor: responsive, communicative, friendly, has a great disposition, has an excellent rapport with his crew, and is focused on customer satisfaction and on delivering superior results at a very reasonable price. He went out of his way to ensure that all our questions were answered, and everything met our satisfaction. His crew is great -- highly skilled and experienced, detail oriented, focused craftsmen who take pride in their work. And they're nice guys, too ! We will definitely use the services of Pat Scales Remodeling in the future. This, people, is the "A" team.

Very professional. Gave us some great ideas, but we haven't made a decision yet.

For the most part, the job went without issue and to our satisfaction. Pat had set our expectations that his price would not be the least, but his quality offsets the difference. With that in mind, our expectations were quite high. Overall, the job was well done. We had one issue with the way the angled steps looked at the finished edge, and Pat suggested a few options for us to consider. We settled on the option we felt most comfortable with, and Pat's team completed the job. We love our new steps, and we think highly of the work Pat and his team did.

Pat and his team completed the project within the timeframe we agreed to and came in under budget. Our new home looks fantastic thanks to Pat and his team.

They were great to work with. From the beginning when Pat came for an estimate. He came early in the morning to accommodate my schedule. He and the contractors were always prompt and courteous. When they ran into some unexpected issues during demolition, they handled it with ease. The job was done within the specified timeframe (a week) and within the budget. It turned out even better than I had imagined. Thanks!!!

Pat and his team Eric, Mike, Rico and Greg were all outstanding (oh, and don't forget Katie in the office!). Throughout the whole process, Pat checked in with me almost daily and was always on top of things. His guys were all very professional, talented, and very hard working but on top of that, these are all really nice guys and that is important. It was a long process but that is the nature of home renovations and Pat tries to do what he can to keep the process running smoothly. He actually finished my job several weeks ahead of schedule. His prices are fair for the high quality of work that his team produces. He never tried to sell me anything I didn't need and gave me very honest feedback about what improvements made sense. Overall, I cannot say enough about Pat and his group. They are so worth the money. I am completely satisfied with all of the jobs that they completed and I hope to be able to use them again in the future. They've made my home beautiful!

He gets A's across the board. The workmanship was just beautiful. Pat helped me pick out the tile and it was exquisite. They had to move my furniture and they didn't make one scratch on any of the furniture. He would also check in on how the work was going. I was very pleased with him. The workers we very respectful and just wonderful. They were polite and professional. There had been carpet on the floor, so they pulled up the carpet and showed me where the concrete was a little rough. They scraped those areas and smoothed them out. They went above what was expected of them. He is also honest.

Pat was the only contractor I originally contacted who not only showed up when he said he would but actually got me a quote in a reasonable time frame. The guys who did the work worked diligently and did a good job. The bathroom looks great!

It went perfectly each time. emailed, responding within hours, on time for appointments, reasonably priced, very courteous and professional.

I decided not to use them because when he came out he showed me how I could fix the problem myself; so I did. They were very responsive and punctual.
