They did not perform the duties of the contract which was to replace my roof.

I cannot say enough about Pantheon Builders. I had an area of siding that needed to be replaced. Another company was scheduled to do the work on my day off, but then rescheduled the job. Not wanting to take a day off work (they never said I did not need to be present) and not being happy with them, I looked for someone else to do the job. I called Pantheon Builders late afternoon and talked to Monte Landrum (owner), thinking he could not come out or send someone out for a few days. I was wrong. Monte said he would try to make it out that day if it was not too late when he became available. Later, when he had time, he called to ask if it was too late for him to drop by. I appreciated that courtesy. Monte was very personable and professional. After taking a look at the damaged area, he took time to explain how the repair would be done. He also explained that my siding is discontinued and gave me an estimate based on that. In addition, he said he would do his best to find my original siding, color, etc. Before he left, he checked to see if there was other damage and found another area needing repair. I was pleasantly surprised to get a text from Monte before noon the next day that he found my original siding and gave me a new, lower estimate. That evening, I got a call from his employee, Shawn, setting up a day to do the work. Shawn was very nice and assured me I was in good hands. The work was scheduled for Saturday and I did not have to be at home. They did a great job! There was other loose siding around the part being replaced and it was repaired at no extra charge. Monte followed up to make sure everything was OK. I will not hesitate to use Pantheon Builders again.

Pantheon Builders was recommended to us by our gutter repair company. Pantheon Builders fixed a large hole in our roof within 48 hours and the work appears do have been done acceptably. While they were at our house they pitched a number of other services, including replacing our roof, building a new deck and fixing the French door at the back of our home, which was damaged during a burglary. We agreed to order a new door. They talked us into a cheaper door than what we first wanted, which may or may not have been a good idea. We were told the project would take a day or two to complete; the new door was finally fully installed about three months later. There were delays from the manufacturer, incorrect orders by Pantheon, tardy appointments and a failure to return calls promptly, multiple site visits, and, finally, disgareements over what was specified in the contract. Brandon and his family were generally very nice but they were unprofessional and didn't place a priority on getting the work done in a timely, first-rate manner. They told us they'd take care of us and they did not. Worst of all, I am not 100% confident that the door is high quality and is going to work properly for many years. We'll see. I would not recommend Pantheon Builders -- especially for anything other than roof work.

On August 13, I called Matt at Pantheon to schedule the window installation. We agreed that the install would take place, starting in the morning two days later. By the afternoon the installer (John) did not arrive, so I called Matt who stated a reschedule would need to occur due to a medical issue. We rescheduled for the next day; however, John didn't arrive/call and Matt did not call. On Friday, August 24, I once again called Matt, who stated he couldn't reach John (whom we met prior to the contract signing and was told was a former Velux employee, so we trusted his expertise). Matt stated he would have "Jose" come out to install the windows on "either Saturday or Sunday." I questioned Jose's expertise and Matt stated that Jose would complete the work to our satisfaction as "Jose is [our] roofing guy." (I stated that I'm not having my roof replaced but rather skylights installed, and Matt stated that Jose "does everything.") After being hesitant to commit to an installation time, Matt stated Jose would arrive "at the crack of dawn" on Sunday, August 26. Jose and a coworker arrived at 10:30am on Sunday but was reluctant to do the work, stating that he was not comfortable installing skylights unless the interior drywall was first cut out to gauge their placement on the roof, which is not how this procedure works. My wife and I stated we wanted to discuss this with Matt prior to any work being performed, and Jose said he would try to reach him as well. Instead, Jose left immediately, and when Matt finally returned my calls in the afternoon he stated he spoke with Jose and was informed that I "threw him out of our house." Matt questioned why I thought that the skylight and the drywall work would be performed on the same day when neither Jose nor his coworker are skilled to do this work (instead, I was supposed to wait for John, which Matt had still not hear from). After sharing my grief that I was tired of missed appointments, poor communication and unclear expectations, Matt cancelled our contract. We agreed that Matt would provide a refund check the next day; as we came to expect, Matt didn't arrive. Matt didn't arrive nor call on August 21 at our second agreed-time, but eventually provided one later that afternoon. Long story short--after nearly four weeks and 17 phone calls to chase tails and schedule what became nothing but a waste of time for everyone, no work was performed.

They arrived on time, did the repair work very well. I was completely satisfied.

Our experience was very positive. We were very pleased with the workmanship and the friendly and professional manner in which we were treated, particulary by Monty Landrum. We continue to enjoy their work.
