Very well. Painting was well done.

From the time we first talked to someone at the Power Show at the fair grounds in Columbus and set a time for them to come out to talk things went very well. We ask at the time of setting up an appointment that he come and give us an estimate and no pressure of making a decision that day and also to bring samples, which he did. Did a very good job of answering all are questions. When he left we told him we would give a call about our decision, that we would call him not himto keep calling us . We were very pleased with him agreeing to do that. It took us about three weeks before we called them back and not once did he or anyone else call us from the company. That we really appreciated. It gave us the time to ckeck other place and not be hassled . From the time we signed any paper work and job was complete it took a couple of weeks. Work it self only took two days, that was with some rain both days.

Paint4You came over, asked a few questions about the type of job we were looking for, walked the house, and came back to us with a professionally laid out quote within 24 hrs. We had a couple of questions about specifics and they were answered quickly over email. Once we accepted the quote the crew came in quickly and respected the house and its contents (we were moving in at the time). The guys were friendly and professional, no excessive chit-chat. When the job was done, I noticed a few things here and there that I am fairly particular about, and Paint4You sent out a guy to do the finishing touches. No questions asked. As a side note, one of the guys came out each day to inspect the work and make sure it was getting done quickly and correctly. The total time was about 8-9 days of work. I plan on calling Paint4You when we have to paint the exterior of our house.

Keith came first for the estimate and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Drew and David were professional, punctual and friendly. They went straight to work and did fabulous work.

.I would not recommend them. They did some things that were not up to standard. They did come back to correct some errors, but they patched over a spot and used the wrong paint. They used a gloss paint to patch over the ceiling they had already painted white. They marked the cans that they left so when I tried to correct their mistake I ended up putting the same paint over the top of the same wrong paint. They had marked it ceiling paint and it wasn't ceiling paint it was gloss woodwork paint. You can't tell what it is until it dries. They used a flat paint on the exterior doors and you can't wipe it. When they painted the walls there are a lot of spots that are not smooth. They slopped on a lot of trim without spreading it out. In daylight you can see a lot of brush marks. It was not a professional job.

Regretfully, I called this company based on a postcard I received offering a 40% discount and didn’t pay attention to reviews about them on Angie’s List. Had I looked at those reviews, I would have never hired this company. I found this company to be dysfunctional in the way they operate. I didn’t have any issues with the person who made the initial quote or with the color consultant who came out to help me pick colors, but my experience went downhill from there between dealing with the scheduler and with the head painter. The scheduler called and told me they’d have the work done by certain date, yet they didn’t even start the job until after that date. When I tried to discuss the discrepancy with the scheduler, he was quick with me on the phone and said he would call me back after a meeting he was headed into. He never called me back. When the painters did arrive, they said they would have the job done in 2 days (it took 4-1/2). After day 3, I think the painters were pressured to move on to another home as they called me the next two days saying they wouldn’t be out because it was supposed to rain (which it never did). They left me hanging Thursday and Friday and returned the following Monday. Aside from the timing issues, the colors I chose with the color consultant weren’t relayed to the painter, causing me to make several phone calls to the company in an effort to resolve. The painter just wanted to take my color swatches and match them at the paint store, but I wanted to keep my swatches and have the color consultant relay my choices as I was told would happen in the first place. I have no idea where the breakdown in communication occurred with the colors, but I felt like I was the only one concerned about it. The colors eventually were relayed to the painter, but my garage door was still painted the wrong color. The painter did say it was his fault because he had several contracts and was getting them confused. He did repaint it the correct color, but that was time lost. Another contributor to lost time was that I mentioned to the painter on the first day that I had a plumber coming out and he told me to cancel the plumber saying he would do the work for less and proceeded to hand me his own business card. So, I canceled the plumber and hired the painter. I expected he would come back in the evening to do the work on his own time, but soon discovered his plan was to do the work on Paint 4 U’s time, leaving only one painter working on my house painting. I didn’t find that very ethical and didn’t appreciate it cutting into the painting time. It didn’t bother me that it took 4-1/2 days to do the work. It did bother me that they left me hanging for a few days mid-project, as I suspect they were off starting on someone else’s home. They also showed up with 3 guys the first day and only 2 guys thereafter which also contributed to the delay. I’m also a little confused about how payment to this company is supposed to work. In my mind, they should just collect for the entire job when all is completed to my satisfaction. Instead, the head painter wanted to collect a partial payment from me for interior painting when there was still work to be done on the interior and then he wanted to collect final payment from me for the exterior work a day before it was finished. It seemed the painter was wheeling and dealing to cover his interests between where he spent his time and when he collected his money, but it came across as very unprofessional and I ended up inconvenienced in the end. On a positive note, the painters did not leave on the final day until I was completely satisfied with the work. However, they could have finished sooner had they paid better attention to what was supposed to be done and doing it correctly the first time around. I have already shared these issues with the salesperson, who was genuinely concerned about my bad experience. What I”m not sure about is whether or not these issues will actually get corrected since I’m not the first person to post a negative review about this company on this site.

I was very pleased with the company. They were very pleasant and friendly. The painters tried very hard to do the job to my satisfaction and they succeeded.

The crew that did the painting were fast, pleasant and did a fantastic job! I was amazed how much better the ceilings looked after the job. They were careful to not splatter paint on the floors and covered everything well prior to starting. I am in the midst of remodeling the first floor and this was a critical job that needed to be done before I could proceed with other jobs. It is a professional job, looks wonderful and I couldn't be more pleased!

They are not that great. My friend recommended them to me but I didn’t get the same crew that painted her house. The job they did for me was horrendous. They only fixed the cracks in my walls because I pointed them out. The painting they did outside was disappointing. The project manager only came once and saw what they did in the bedroom so he never saw the outside. They left a mess; there were trash and cigarette butts everywhere. They didn’t finish the caulking before they started painting. When the project manager came back out he was so upset. When the said they were done and I went out to look, I pointed out all of the things that they missed so they had to come back out another day.

The overall process went well. The owner was very involved during the begining and the middle. The paint team showed up a day late. Once they were here they knocked it out fast, and with great results. I understand timing on projects can play havoc with schedules, but an upfront call would have been best. I was under the impression (I may be wrong) that I wouldn't pay until the owner came out and did his own inspection. Instead, I was walked around the job by the paint crew, and then I am paid them directly. While I was very happy with the work, I think having the crew give and collect the work survey on their performance was not optimal. I would have preferred to have mailed it in.

Owner came out for estimate, very professional had an excellent presentation. Had several competitive bids, but after negotiating lower price decided to go with Paint4You. That was where the mistakes began. Part of the scope of work was to seal any cracks in the stucco. After the stucco was painted, I asked as to why none of the cracks were filled. The answer was, "we didn't see any". I clearly saw numerous cracks. I asked them to fill the cracks, as agreed upon. They filled the cracks, and painted over the "white" filler. Every spot were the filler was painted was a different color, thus I had highly noticeable lines all over my house. I was very surprised that the painters did not see this contrast. It was very obvious. After working with the owner and project manager I finally convenienced them that the wall in question needed to be repainted. As a part of their prep work, Paint4You was suppose to prime any bare wood surfaces, the was not done anywhere. The prep work performed by Paint4You was sub-par, unacceptable. I highly discourage anyone from using this company. Their inability to deliver on their agreed upon services without the home owner having to constantly fight for a quality job is totally unacceptable.

First - I have to say: I obtained 3 quotes and did Angie's List research on all three. Each of the three offered "20% off..." or "35% off", so I was expecting them all to come in around the same figure, no matter what the "original" price. Keith's quote was not only the lowest, but his "original" price was the lowest as well. There were comments on Angie's List cautioning against the discounting offered by painters, but this seemed to be an actual discount (in comparison to the competition). I called to begin the contract process, and was able to reach Keith on his cell phone. By the end of the weekend, I had already been contacted by a project manager. Things progressed quickly (though they were slowed by rain a couple days). I travel for work, and the painters were very appreciative and understanding - they waited for me to return from my trip so I could review the work they'd done. When I made a few recommendations / requests for touch-ups, they acted quickly and without hassle. The finished product met the approval of both myself and my wife. Without any drama, this job was completed. I don't always have the time and/or ability to do things around my house that need to be done. It is good to have contractors like this to help out. I was VERY skeptical of hiring someone to do work on the house after a bad experience with another contractor. However, Paint 4 You did everything asked of them and more. By the time they left, they cleaned all of their materials and even left me a gallon of matching paint for future use. I highly recommend this company.

Paint 4 You came out and provided a free quote on the external painting we requested. Their quote came was very reasonable. Once we accepted the quote our home was power washed a few days later. The actual painting process was started and completed in one day. The home was coated with plenty of paint, and the gentlemen working for Paint 4 You were very professional, courteous and really enjoyed their job. I would go with this company again any time!!

I'm very happy with the appearance of my deck and front porch!

I called because he was advertising 50% exterior painting. I have had quotes in the past. Basically, he increased his rates so that his 50% off price was in-line with fair market values. I just believe it was false advertising. I would rather have someone tell the price up front than to jack up his rates to lure someone in.
