As always, an excellent experience. We were going to be traveling, and needed to have our yard mowed while we were gone. We called Edd and set a date. He did come one day later than planned, but it had been raining on and off, and we were flexible on the timing, so it was fine with us. We've used Edd once before and just like that time, his work was top notch. The yard looked great, and the price was right. We also have a fence around our back yard and some other services told me they wouldn't be able to get their lawn mowers through our single gate. No such trouble with Edd. He'll continue to be the one we call when we need yard work.

I called them and they did answer my call. They did the work in about 20 minutes and they were very good. I have a half acre lawn and they brought a whole team of people who really did a good job. He is very flexible with what you want to know.

It went good... It did take some time for them to get to my yard but that was understandable at that time of the year... and I was informed that it would take some time.

I just received a bill for leaf clean-up which I never authorized. But the most surprising item is the $40/hour man labor. $40/hour for raking leaves?

He did a great job. When I called I had an idea of what I wanted to have done, but I was not quite sure and he jumped right in a gave me some ideas of what I could do. I had a space that I wanted to change, but I did not know how to do it and I did not have a whole lot of money. He directed me when I was unsure of what to do. What he charges compared to some other companies is extremely reasonable. I would give him all A's.

Everything began OK, but we ran into some communication problems. However, the situation was completely resolved because he charged no fee for his services.

He has been fantastic about everything. He is very reliable and responsible. He has a great work ethic. His prices are very reasonable, too.

He is very professional. He shows up on time and is easy to talk to.

The lawn looked great after the aeration and overseeding. He even gave us a great idea to work with an area damaged by our dogs. I would definitely use him again. My only negative was that they seeded in areas where we normally put down mulch so we had grass coming up through the mulch.

We'd let our grass get so long that the push mower wouldn't touch it, so we finally admitted we needed help & called a few places off the List. Ed returned my call the next day & said he'd be in my neighborhood that very afternoon. Gave him my address & when I got home, the lawn had been mowed and trimmed in the hard-to-reach places. It looked great - and he didn't take off so much that it would shock the grass - and now we can handle it again. Cost is reasonable & he just invoices at the end of the month. I will definitely be using The Polish Gardener again!

He was extremely friendly, and came right out for the estimate. He looked at the yard, made some suggestions, and said he would call back with prices. He called back later that same day and said that the mileage was a little more than he was willing to take on, but he was great and very easy to talk to. I would have hired him and think he would have done a great job. Eddy was very nice, and I told him that if he opens his company up to my area, I would love to use him and know he would have a lot of business out here.

Edd (The Polish Gardener himself!) returned my initial call the same day and came by the following day to check out the size of the job and call with an estimate. We agreed to have his crew come out the following morning to complete the job. (I was preparing to list my house for sale, so timing was important to me and Edd accommodated my needs.) The two men who completed the work exceeded my expectations in every way. The yard looked even better than I imagined it would, and the workers asked me to inspect the work to make sure I was satisfied before they left. Edd came out with the crew to provide them with instructions. I happened to be carrying some furniture out as they were arriving, and Edd jumped in to offer a hand.

You can't go wrong with Eddy. He knows his business and is in it for the long term. A real "pillar of the community" kind of guy.

After a recent huge windstorm (which interrupted the power in our entire city for a whole week) we had many trees down in the neighborhood, power poles down and ankle deep debris of branches, vines, leaves and tree limbs in our yards. I was pretty discouraged at the task before me and was making a feeble attempt to rake up a few piles myself when my crew from The Polish Gardener showed up on time just like any other week and completely cleaned my yard and piled the debris along the curb for disposal. The pile was about the size of a Volkswagen, so you know there was a lot to do. They then mowed, trimmed and blew the yard as usual. The next day they came with a big trailer and hauled off the pile of limbs for me. I offered to pay extra and tip the crew, but they would not accept extra payment, saying that they were just servicing their regular customers. This service was above and beyond what was required, and proved to be a bright spot in a week which was pretty stressful all around. It really gives you hope that there are still honest, helpful people in the world who go beyond what is strictly required and do a wonderful service. God bless them! Thanks, Edd!

I don't have to call, they just come to my house once a week. I think that the owner does the best work of his crew. They pick up the clippings. Maybe they could use a smaller blower that has more control.

No work was performed as my call wasn't returned.

I really liked them, but they quoted $20 more than the company I ended up using. They said they had to charge more because I have a bank in my yard that they said was steep.

Cost is for lawn cutting. My lot is small but he is great.

Very reliable and reasonably priced.

I used this company in the 2006 season for lawn service. Service was good. They mowed the lawn every week and trimmed the edges. My only complaints were cutting a little too short in the summer, and mowing in August when the grass wasn't growing and didn't need it. But Edd responded promptly when I called to complain, so I was satisfied. They also roto-tilled the garden in the spring, which looked satisfactory.
