Orkin Pest Control

I live in a condo which is connected of course. I’ve lived her over 4 years. All at once I saw bedbugs. I called orkin a year ago. Then it seemed they were gone. A few weeks ago I saw them on my loveseat. I called. They came out and sprayed alcohol. The tech told me if I seen anymore to call and he would come out and be more intense with it which I did see more I called they sent a tech out and she did not even know what she was doing because she didn’t deal with that she said I’d have to call and have them come out again so I called and called and no answer so I called the main office and they said they would send a message to the manager over bedbug control and he should call me and that’s all they can do. A few techs have tried to call him that’s been out here to have him call me and schedule an appointment but he never calls and when I try to call they don’t answer the phone so I’m paying over $3000 and they won’t come out

Worker was professional and thorough. I highly recommend and would hire again.

I've been using Orkin for years; I've probably been using them for 15 years. Apparently, I get a deal for having been with them so long. I know a lot of them have gone up, but mine has stayed the same. I've been using them for 15 or 16 years so I guess I will use them again.

They were professional, they also asked if we had any pets or children in the house to make sure that the house was safe for them. They went over what they did. We did have ants 3 weeks later and they were out again at no charge. They found a couple of areas outside where utilities were coming into our house that could have been where they were coming in and made sure to spray. We haven't seen any since.

They would just show up at different times. I couldn't count on a reliable time frame. As long as you have a flexible schedule, they are fine. If I had to, I would consider using them again.

They were here June of 2013. It cost $1200.

Contacted Orkin to request service by filling out the form on their website. Received an email reply from Orkin about a day or so later, acknowledging my request for service and giving me a reference number and stating that an Orkin representative would be in touch with me soon. That was about 4 weeks ago. Then nothing. No followup, no additional email, no phone call, and no attempt to schedule service or inform me that they would be unable to perform service. Not poor customer service. Simply no attempt to provide customer service.

They are a really nice company. They are always great. Dan is fantastic. I would tell a friend that they are a reliable company, very professional and we have never had any problems.

They don't give a discount for Angie's list members. They just came last friday and we have not heard back on the estimate. One person came to do the estimate and it took about 15 to 20 minutes. He was on time, professional, courteous, and polite.

We have used Orkin for many years to control insects. Craig who is one of their representatives has provided their services for us. He is excellent to work with and very thorough. His regularly scheduled visits are every other month and he always leaves us an appointment card with his next visit's information. If we have an issue in between scheduled visits we have is cell phone number and can contact him directly which we have in the past. We are very pleased with the quality of Orkin's service and would recommend them to anyone who need help with insect control.

He did a thorough inspection and was very professional and responsive. We would hire this company in the future, if we had a problem. Didn't try to sell us something we didn't need.

The actual worker was great. He did not make me feel embarrassed about having bugs. He explained what he was going to do and where he was going to spray. I felt comfortable leaving him in my home alone.

Orkin did a complete treatment of our house for termites, inside and outside. The serviceman spent all day at our house. Although they did not find any live pests, we feel confident our house is treated well for any future issues. A manager visit was scheduled to review the work at a later date. We appreciated the professionalism of the company also.

Set mouse traps but do not seem to know how to eradicate the problem except to kill mice when they enter the house.

They did a great job. The price they quoted is what I paid. They even went in the garage, basement, attic and crawl space. They were very thorough.

They have done a very good job so far.

They have not held up their end of the bargain at all. It took a long time to get someone to come out the first time. I had to call them over and over to get someone out. One month they sent someone out without telling me they were going to and left a note in the door saying they swept out cobwebs. They were supposed to come out January 2nd and they never showed up. When I call to complain they say they will have a supervisor call me and then never do.

Orkin came out after our cat starting started finding mice in the basement. They did a thorough inspection and found areas that mice could be entering and sealed up those areas. They set traps and came back in less than a week for a follow up visit that was included in the already reasonable price. I was informed that if we saw even one mouse, we could call and they would come back out.

My parents have had minor roach and mice issues. Wanted to get and quot;aheadand quot; of anything before it got out of control. He put bait in the kitchen area for the roaches and spray in other areas and gave us glue traps to put where we wanted for mice. It is a service plan whereas they come back after 30 days and then quarterly. We have had 3 applications now. Have not experienced many roaches/mice. Seems to be working. A little pricey for what is involved. I have walked through with him to be sure everything is being treated. The service rep. has been great.

Punctual, Professional, Thorough, Personable, Honest. Service person was here less than an hour for the inspection and treatment. Rather than try to upsell me services, I was educated on the most economical approach and persuaded to delay services I thought I needed. The follow-up visit a few weeks later was equally impressive.

I set it up and I kind of forgot about it. They always come to spray when they are supposed to. They have never missed a call. They are hear every 3 months like clock work. I have had them for 3-4 years now and they do a good job. The only thing I would like to see them do is simply let me know when they are here so they could do the inside as well, just an extra step would be nice.

He came out the next day and in one day they were gone. We use them all the time. We love them.

They are great. They are always friendly and they always stop and check to make sure there are no problems and whether they need to come inside or what they need to do.

I am not usually here when they come. They just leave a bill and I know that they have done their job. They come regularly to my house.

I really liked the service man that came. I think his name is Mr. Derrick but I am not entirely certain.
