OLDAKER DOOR SALES

We have used Oldaker Door in the past and have recommended him to others, with good results. They responded promptly and arrived on time. Ed is very friendly although a bit of a chatterbox, but in a pleasant way. The work could have been done a little faster, but he charged me for the work and not the time he spent. I trust Ed and was completely satisfied that our door problem was solved. I felt like he would do whatever was needed until the job was complete, and that he would deal with me fairly. That'a about all anyone could ask.

After I made the appointment, Mr, Oldaker showed up on time, and assessed the problem. He replaced rollers and cleaned the tracks to the garage door.

Mr. Oldaker is a treasure! He will fix something if he can, rather than try to sell a new door.

Mr. Oldaker is very professional, and up front. He'll give an honest assessment of the problem and charge you a fair price.

I thought Mr. Oldaker did a terrific job. While this was not an emergency, it was very hard to lift our garage door with the spring broken. Mr. Oldaker was able to schedule an appointment the same day I called. Moreover, rather than expecting me to wait for them in a multi-hour appointment window, Mr. Oldaker asked me when I'd like to have him replace the door spring. I was able to conveniently schedule the appointment after work, saving me time and hassle. As for the job, Mr. Oldaker completed the spring replacement very efficiently. He even went above the call of duty, lubricating the door track and hinges, and adjusting the force and travel of our door opener (operator).

I felt I was grossly overcharged for the work that was done. I felt I was like discriminated against since I worked for the federal government, I looked on the List and saw no one charged near the amount I was. No parts replaced, no major work done. I felt a $110 was way too much. I would not recommend this company.

The job went very smoothly and professionally. As I stated above he was upfront and honest about his assessment of our needs, not trying to sell me something I didn't need, and to this day haven't had any problems with our garage door.

They were excellent. I have used this company many times and referred them many more. They are very fast, have reasonable prices, and do excellent work. They will do as much or as little as you want. There is no extra cost for nights/weekends. He was a nice guy, did good work, and had a great product.

Our experience was wonderful. I called Mr. Oldaker on a Saturday, expecting to set up an appointment at the beginning of the next week. To my pleasant surprise, he came out that afternoon. He is a very pleasant, friendly man who does great work. In no time at all he had fixed our problems beyond expectations. Our door is now so quiet! He is very honest and fair.

WHEN I CALLED, THEY DID NOT OFFER TO COME TO MY HOUSE TO COMPLETE AN ESTIMATE, AS THE OTHER COMPANIES I CALLED DID. THEY TOLD ME IF MY DOOR WAS THE COMMON 16' X 7' IT WOULD COST $985, WHICH WAS MORE THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY I CALLED. WHEN THE OTHER COMPANIES CAME, AND DID THE QUOTE, IT TURNED OUT THE DOOR SIZE WAS NOT THE STANDARD SIZE.

DOOR WORKS GREAT; VERY HELPFUL. CAME ON SATURDAY MORNING. QUICK, EFFICIENT, FAIRLY PRICED. VERY GOOD SERVICE. WILL DEFINITELY CALL THEM AGAIN IF WE HAVE GARAGE DOOR PROBLEMS.

HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR 42 YEARS. HE IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE WAS ACTUALLY REFERRED TO ME BY A TOTAL STRANGER IN A HARDWARE STORE! WHEN HE ACTUALLY CAME TO REPAIR THE DOOR, HE TOLD ME THE PULLEYS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT OF GREAT QUALITY. HE CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO REPLACE THOSE AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. IF IT CAN BE FIXED, HE WILL FIX IT AND NOT TRY TO SELL EXTRAS.
