Removed a sizable cypress tree. Did a great job with removal and pricing was extremely reasonable. Much less than the other two companies from which we got quotes. They also ground the stump. It took a few weeks for them to get back to grind the stump and they weren't great about communicating when this would happen (their grinder was being serviced during the downtime, but I had to call to find this out). Otherwise, very pleasant experience.

Workers were quick, professional and did a great job cleaning up.

They offered to cut tree down w/o AEP lowering power line at xtra cost. I chose to have line lowered by AEP for $153 and a lower cost from OTC. They did lower and raise cable wires though.

No damage to property & total removal of tree. Great clean up, would definitely recommend.

I called this company for an estimate, and they agreed to meet me at the house. Arborist seemed genuinely concerned about the overall health & appearance of trees, so suggested a plan that would clear the roof of branches without sacrificing too many entire limbs. Workers were efficient, and cleaned up all debris. I would definitely recommend this company.

I sent an email to them today: "I am very disappointed in your service. About 3 weeks ago, I accepted your quote and said I wanted the deep root fertilization for my blue spruce. I received a call and was told he would be out early the following week, which was the week of October 5th. We also agreed he would call my home phone or my cell phone before showing up so could keep my dogs inside during the week. By Thursday, no one had showed up or called me. I called the office and was told he wold be out Friday or Monday ,the 9th or 12th. As of today October 18, no one has come out, cancelled, rescheduled or attempted any communication with me. I no longer want your services because I can not trust your company to perform any actions that have been promised to me. " A few days later after writing this review on Angie's list, I was called by Ohio Tree Care. They offered to come out and fertilize my tree for no cost. They were concerned about having a very unhappy customer. They arrived within one or two days after the phone call and treated my tree for me.

The work was completed while I was at work. They did such a great job of cleaning up that the only way I knew they were there was from my trimmed up trees and bushes. The office staff, Gerry was super nice every time we talked. She was certain to get the details of what I needed.

Our neighbors were preparing to move in early summer, and during the spring one of their trees had grown significantly. There was a large limb and several branches hanging over our garage that we wanted trimmed ASAP, as we wanted to have it trimmed before they moved. Ohio Tree Care, Inc. was very prompt in delivering a written estimate for the work. In addition, they were the lowest cost provider. Finally, they were able to do the work with the least lead time. When they came to our house, we decided to have them trim everything back to the lot line, rather than to the main trunk of the tree. This change caused the work to be done much quicker and with less effort than originally quoted. Since the crew had extra time, I asked them to trim a different neighbors' trees away from our house, which they did. I was prepared to pay the full amount of the quote. However, they called me after the job was complete and told me they were going to send an invoice for less than the quoted amount since the job didn't take as long as originally quoted. I appreciate their honesty and being so forthright in lowering the amount we owed for the work. It is so refreshing to find a professional service provider who not only does such a good job, but also is honest in their billing practices. We will definitely use them again!

Ron came out quickly and gave me a quote that was around $100 less than the other quotes I received. I indicated that I would like to get the work done as quickly as possible, since I am also getting a new fence installed, and the hemlock needed to be removed before that could be done. Ron told me he would try and work me in, and he did just that. Approximately two days after I told him I wanted them to do the job, he had a cancelled job and called to see if it was alright for him to do my work that day. They did a beautiful job pruning and thinning out the birch tree in front of my house without butchering it - it looks great. I will be calling Ohio Tree Care again to remove a row of Japanese Honeysuckle and a couple of other trees next to my driveway.

I called Ohio Tree Care and a few other companies for quotes on tree and shrub removal. Ron came out on time and explained everything to me. He is very knowledgeable. His quote was BY FAR the best! I felt comfortable with him doing the work. I called the office and scheduled a date for them to come out. They did the job while I was at work. When I got home the tree was down and they had neatly stacked up the firewood as I requested. The shrubs were removed and I was very happy. I have had other tree companies come out to do work and I can say that no one compares to Ohio Tree Care! They are professional and do good work. At least have them give you an estimate. I will use them again in the future.

Found the company on Angie's List and saw the good reviews so I gave them a call. It was late in the day so I left a message. Took a couple of days to for them to call me back. They came out in April to give me an estimate and said they will come back when the leaves come in fully so the trunk will take the treatment. I also wanted a quote to get the dead limbs cut down when they come back for treatment. The trees were treated but the I never received the quote for getting the dead cut out. I will call them back for that service. Company called me a week after I wrote 1st review and to tell me why the quote for trimming the trees wasn't left behind and to also let me know when he was coming out to look at the trees. Price seemed fair. Few days later the crew showed up and trimmed the trees exactly the way I wanted done. Trees look great. Will use them again in the future.

They were very caring of my problem and very attentive and informative as to a possible solution.

David came to my house a few days prior to scheduling to look the trees over and discussed what would be done, etc. I must say he was very friendly and comfortable to discuss the job with. A few days later, he and two other men arrived at my house around 8:30 AM. The got to the job immediately and stayed on the job for at least eight hours. They did a great job and every branch and twig on the ground were cleaned up before they left my yard. I must say this company is one of best I've ever hired to do work around my house. I could go on and on but still couldn't say enough to express how pleased I am with this comany.

After getting over sticker shock and watching the guys work, I realized that the folks at Ohio Tree Care are doing dangerous work in as safe a manner as possible. Some of these trees were very large. Some of them were not only large, but also full of dead and unstable branches. They are doing this work while taking special care to protect my property. As per our agreement, they cut up the trunks into lengths and left them in clump piles where the trees once stood. They were very diligent in doing this in my front yard. My only disappointment is that they did not do the same with the trees that were downed in my back yard, leaving the two foot branch and trunk segments strewn about where they fell. This leaves me a pretty big Spring project to do. Regardless, I will use Ohio Tree Care should I need this kind of work in the future.

For tree service it was Ohio Tree Care. They were fine. They came out when they said they were going to come out. They fertilized trees and didn't have any problems with them. They seemed knowledgeable. I have already used them a couple of times.
