Ohio Mulch

delivery was made on time. the price was competitive. i also went to their location and purchased additional mulch. very helpful and friendly. i would recommend the product they sold me (top quality, black dyed mulch) and their service.

5/21/2011 The delivery did not arrive on either of the 2 preferred dates that we selected on the web order. We called 4 different locations and none were aware or had received our order. The last location that the central office told us to call had a person who picked up the phone and he sounded drunk/incoherent. He appeared to be having fun getting me to repeat our last name over the phone, and kept repeating Juliet rather than Hilliard when I kept repeating the city for the delivery address. After 5 phone calls, we gave up. Update 5/24/2011 The owner of the company contacted us to apologize and has promised to resolve the issue. We are expecting the mulch to be delivered in the next few days. We will update this report accordingly. Update 5/25/2011 The mulch arrived as expected. We were in contact with the owner via his cell phone, and also received a call from a manager . Both apologized for the behavior of the employee who handled our call on 5/21 and the mishandling of our web order. The explanation provided was satisfactory, as was the gesture to wave the delivery charge. We also received a few extra bags for our trouble. We appreciate the way the management handled the issue and brought a prompt and professional resolution to the issue.

I drove there, paid for the bales, drove back into the yard, and loaded them into my mini-van. The staff would have loaded them for me, but I was in a hurry. I have purchased mulch and topsoil from this company in the past and have always been satisfied with the price and service.

We were satisfied. We went to their location twice. The first time a lady from the office showed us all the different kinds of mulch. The second time we picked it up. They loaded it for me. I could not take it all in one load so they kept track of it for me. I have nothing to compare it to as I have never purchased mulch before. They did the job I wanted done at a reasonable price. They gave me good service. I heard of them from my son and saw an ad about them in the paper.

The delivery man was on time. He dumped the load exactly where I needed it. He even warned me that the dye in the mulch might stain the driveway, which was only mildly true. I would use them again.

We were satisfied with the service. We would use them again because they met our needs. I recall the price to be reasonable.

Ohio Mulch was very easy to deal with and very accommodating. They found a way to deliver the mulch on a Saturday to fit our schedule so that we had the mulch when we needed it. They also have the best prices and offer discounts for repeat customers.

They were great. They have every different kind of mulch that you would probably want. You can go look at them and buy. They have a good variety. The people were also nice. I also get a slight discount there. They have bags which you can go and see what kind of mulch it is. If it is the mulch you want they give you discounts.

I would recommend them to anybody who was looking for a product in the area. It is what it is: a mulch delivery company. I was pleased with their services.

They dumped it for us. My husband researched and they had the best price. They came within 15 minutes of the delivery time they gave us. They did everything we wanted them to do. I'm sure my husband got the best deal and he didn't have anything bad to say. I think we have used them before. I wish my kids had been up because they would have gotten a kick out of watching it being dumped.

They were quick to schedule, responsive, and they deliver.

On more than one occasion the different employees weren't knowledgeable about the different types of mulch. Sometimes I would have to wait for the cashier to get done ringing up other customers before they would come out and load up my trunk.

The overall job went very well. I called them up and purchased 3 yards of mulch. They delivered and I put it where I needed to. Very prompt service. I would use their services again.

The mulch is great. We've used this brand of mulch for years. They were punctual. They put the mulch in the area of driveway we requested.

What I liked most about them is that I had purchased too many bags, and I was able to return them easily. The serviceman was very helpful, and the guys that loaded were very careful.

The mulch was delivered on the exact day and place stated to drop it off. It was very neatly wrapped and placed on two wooden pallets.

Ohio Mulch made a large delivery of hardwood much to our driveway. we have used them in the past, and once again found them to be inexpensive, prompt and a good value.

They had many options, answered my questions, and were professional. A lot of my relatives have used them, too, and had great experiences.

Mulch was delivered the day after I ordered it as promised although driver did not call ahead of time as promised. Seemed like a little less than the 10 yards I ordered, but who knows it may have been more. Mulch was dry and high quality. Delivery truck leaked oil on my new concrete parking pad.

IF YOU DON'T MIND THE MESS, YOU CAN GET A DISCOUNT FOR BAGS THAT ARE SLIGHTLY TORN OR RIPPED.

I REALLY LIKE THIS STORE BECAUSE THEY HAVE SAMPLES OF THEIR MULCH IN THE FRONT OF THE STORE. THEY TAKE CARE OF YOU RIGHT AWAY, AND THEY LOAD THE MULCH IN YOUR TRUCK FOR YOU AND IF YOU WANT THEY WILL DELIVER IT FOR A FEE.

WE ORDERED 35 BAGS OF SHREDDED HARDWOOD MULCH TO BE DELIVERED TO OUR RESIDENCE. OHIO MULCH DELIVERED IT EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND PLACED IT ON OUR DRIVEWAY IN A CONVENIENT AREA. WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THAT THE MULCH WAS DELIVERED ON A PALLET SO THERE WAS AIR CIRCULATION UNDER IT. THE MULCH IS VERY HIGH QUALITY AND THE BAGS WERE INTACT. WE DEFINITELY PLAN TO BUY FROM THEM IN THE FUTURE.

THE WIDE RANGE OF TYPES IN STOCK, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF TO GUIDE THE PURCHASE WAS VERY GOOD. IN ADDITION, THEY TOOK MY OBSOLETE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR RECYCLING AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! YAHOO!

MY FIRST DELIVERY WENT FINE. I HAD 50 BAGS OF MULCH DELIVERED. THE DRIVER OFF-LOADED THE BAGS OF MULCH FROM THE TRUCK ONTO MY DRIVEWAY WHERE I ASKED. THE SECOND DELIVERY WAS TERRIBLE. THE DRIVER DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO USE THE FORKLIFT AND IT TOOK HIM 20 MINUTES TO GET THE PALLET OFF OF THE TRUCK. I LATER DISCOVERED THAT HE PUNCTURED NUMEROUS BAGS. ONCE HE GOT THE MULCH OFF THE TRUCK HE PLACED IT ON THE DRIVEWAY AND THEN LEFT. AFTER I OFF-LOADED MULCH I WAS LEFT WITH A LARGE, BULKY PLASTIC PALLET THAT I HAD NO USE FOR. I CALLED OHIO MULCH AND ASKED THEM TO COME PICK IT UP. THEY AGREED. AFTER A WEEK THEY DIDN'T SHOW SO I CALLED BACK. AGAIN I WAS TOLD THAT SOMEONE WOULD PICK THE PALLET UP. THE NEXT DAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A MAN FROM OHIO MULCH (I HAD TO ASK WHERE HE WAS CALLING FROM). HE SAID THAT THEY WOULD PICK UP THE PALLET, BUT WOULD CHARGE ME A $40 FEE. HE SAID USING AND LEAVING THE PALLETS BEHIND MAKES DELIVERY CONVENIENT FOR THE DRIVERS. CUSTOMER NEEDS ARE APPARENTLY NOT IMPORTANT.

THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER ON FRIDAY, BY 7-8 I HADN'T HEARD FROM THEM AND THEY WEREN'T HERE. THEY THEN CALLED TO SAY THAT THEY WEREN'T COMING, THAT THEIR TRUCK BROKE DOWN. THEY PROMISED TO BRING BY NOON ON SATURDAY. THEY WEREN'T HERE BY THAT TIME. I HAD TO CONTINUALLY CALL THEM FOR INFORMATION AND THEY DIDN'T CONTACT ME. I WAS TOLD THAT THE CORPORATE OFFICE HAS INSTITUTED THIS NEW SYSTEM WITH COMMUNICATIONS WITH CUSTOMERS. THIS NEEDS TO BE MORE TIMELY AND DIRECT.
