Ohio Commercial Door

The owner, Chris Anderson, came out promptly to provide an estimate. Upon approving the estimate, they scheduled the work and a crew arrived as scheduled. I think the job took a day or two longer than they anticipated, but they continued to work at our location until it was completed. After they were finished, we noticed a slight problem with the levelness of one of the doors. Chris came out promptly to inspect it, and sent his crew back out within a week to make adjustments.

From initial call until work completed took an historically unusual length of time, about six weeks. Again, unusual, it involved 3 requests and a personal visit to their offices on my part as a long-standing customer. On three occasions, I was promised a date for service, but nothing happened.Finally, an after-hours voice mail to a contracted answering service for Kris, the owner to personally call me on my cell phone, set things in positive motion to remedy issue by the next day. He explained that they had had a difficult time obtaining the needed materials from the only vendor. I asked, then why set up three dates to service if materials were not yet obtained; no good answer. I told him that I was prepared to go to a competitor and change our commercial account. He did call back within minutes and promised materials would arrive next day, and that it would be completed. It was completed as he promised. For now, I will maintain my account with them, but if that type of non-performance occurs again, it may change the situation. I cannot leave a business tenant unattended for so long with inclement weather entering their leased premises. Businesses are difficult to attract and to retain in these economic times and under Ohio's oppressive taxes on businesses.
