Oakland Nursery - Landscaping Looks great it couldn't look better. No complains what so ever. Workers were fine, and couldn't be better.

We had a terrific experience with them. They always do a great job. Their service lady was helping us for a long time and making recommendations. She was not trying to sell the most expensive plants. She made some recommendations and that was taken. The workers are always are good. They have a lot of professional horticulture and high university school of agriculture graduates. Their prices are competitive with other providers, and we get a lot better advice and probably better plants. I recommend them to others.

They had reasonable pricing. You talk to them about what you want and 30 minutes later they are able to draw up a design up for you. You can then do the work yourself or they can do it for you.

They were nice. They did a good job. I would use them in the future.

The guy I dealt with listened to what I wanted. I asked a ton of questions and he answered them all patiently. He was very thorough. He drew the plan on site. He came out once and saw the property, and heard what I wanted. Then he came out a second time and he drew the plan on site. He went over them very thoroughly with me. I thought the price was good and fair. It would have been difficult for me to plan in the end. They’ll do pieces of landscaping for me but I will be doing a lot of it myself. I would use their services again in the future.

Pete came out and gave ideas and estimate. Was a busy time (Spring) but got it done in a few weeks. Looks good and will use again.

We did have someone come out and design the landscaping. Their service was great. Everything was great and we were completely happy with the plans they drew out. They offered their services beyond what we excepted like if we had any questions, they'll send an email replying to us. We've contacted them through that just to talk to them.

We spent about $700 on that service. They do excellent work. We have used them for several years and they are very thorough, prompt and everything looks great when they are done.

We live right by them and they are great. The work is perfect. Their prices are good and the people that come out are good. They are a really good nursery and they deliver the products we have bought.

We bid and won design services at a Dublin Arts Council silent auction. All the staff at Oakland treated us like royalty. They came out, surveyed, drew up a plan (by hand, no less) that was exactly what we were asking for. They even gave us a few tips on care for our mature trees. We purchased all the plant material from Oakland (always have, they are the BEST!), and provided the labor ourselves. Thank you Oakland for what you continue to do! If I could build a home on your tree lot on Oakland Park - I would in a heart beat.

Oakland Park Landscape Architect Mike Warner came to our home to draw-up a landscape plan for our back yard. In about 30 minutes, he created a great plan, which was presented to us the same day. In a few days, he got back to us with an estimate of cost and an expected start date. We felt the estimate was reasonable, so agreed to proceed with the plan. We had to wait several weeks to begin the job, but once started, the project was finished within a week's time. Although Mr. Warner managed the project off-site, at least one crew leader (Rick) or on-site crew manager (Santos) were on the job making sure that work was done to plan and done efficiently. It was clear that each crew member had been well trained to deliver perfection. Each day, the site was left in good order for the next day's return. When the job was completed, we received several accollades from neighbors. Clearly, the work was exemplary. We felt that the work done by Oakland Park designers, landscapers, and stone crew exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend their landscape services to our friends based on price, efficiency, quality and scope of work. The experience was a positive one from beginning to end.

Overall a great experience. Knowledgable personnel in the nursery to help select species of trees and then specific specimens. Scheduled date and time to install and they met it. They did not tear up the yard at all getting the trees and very large root balls out to the locations I had flagged in the yard. Only minor complaint and the reason for the B in quality was that they were a little lazy in terms of tearing out grass for the mulch bed around the tree and one in particular has grass growing up through the mulch. That is a minor quibble and overall was very happy and will use them again.

Pretty well until the seeding. They seeded it and screwed it up. Came back and reseeded, wrong seed, not matched like they said it would. Came back out to reseed after giving me the Roundup to kill yard off myself. Reseeded with wrong type of seed for third time. Also, the immigrants they employ did a very poor job, and the supervisor was constantly telling them what to do and how to do it, sometimes having to yell at them and all they would do is laugh at him and speak spanish and laugh even more, like it was a joke. I used them because they are family run business with great reputation, and like most , the latter generations come along a manage to ruin a great business by cutting corners and using sub par labor. They wanted to settle dispute with Angie's and myself after reseeded for third time before grass even came up and I should have known better. NEVER again. Wasted 2 years+ and the money I paid them to seed my yard.

A flawless job from start to finish. Placed a call to Oakland Nursery to get estimate on work I needed done in my yard. I needed a lot of sod removed to expand existing beds. Then I needed everything mulched, and 2 paver stepping stone walkways installed. Amy met me at the house at the agreed-to time. She was very punctual. She walked the yard with me, took lots of notes, and sent me an estimate within a couple of days. I had other estimates and hers was by far the best price. The work was done by two hard-working men who dug the sod with shovels. The new beds came out exactly as I requested. They mulched everything (about 50 bags of mulch) and put in two stone paver walkways. They were hardworking and meticulous. I could not be happier with how everything came out.

It turned out very well and we were very pleased with the work.

Very good service- also had them give us a landscape plan. I love Oakland Nursery- they are always very helpful & were on time.

We have purchased plants for Oakland many times. Recently we bought a flowering shrub that within a week began to die. When trying to return it we were met with a very unsavory experience. The man at the customer service counter questioned our abilities to grow plants and suggested (among other things) that we don't know how to water. Quite to the contrary, his presumptive, unprofessional attitude has lost any future business from us, our families, and friends.

Excellent - very helpful, timely, lots of advice, good prices

Oakland Nursery did a great job. We had been shopping for a tree for some time, and found just what we were looking for (a snowfall cherry) at Oakland. The staff on hand at the nursery were able to answer all of our questions, and explained that any tree purchased from them carried a one-year warranty. For the cost of about half the tree itself, Oakland also delivered and planted the tree in our yard. We didn't even have to be home! On the day of the delivery, there were some delays; apparently, delivery runs did not start that day until much later than planned. We were told the tree would be delivered "after 2 p.m." that afternoon. As it turns out, it was delivered about 8 p.m. that evening. Having said that, they DID deliver on the day promised, and since we were not required to be there, no one had taken time of work. All in all, no complaints on our end.

We were helped by knowledgeable people, we walked around their large facility looking at trees to replace our old dead tree. They explained everything we wanted to know and helped us decide the most appropriate choice for our case. We contracted them to deliver and plant the tree, they were punctual and did a good job. As for the mulch, we chose the type we wanted from a small sample of options, paid and then drove around to the back to pick up the bags. So far it looks like good quality mulch.

Everything went very well. They are reliable and they've been around for a while. I've used them for a long time.
