Description of Work: Completely remodeled two bathrooms, top to bottom. The price includes some extra plumbing and electrical work by subcontractors. It went well. Took a long time, nearly three months, but all the workers were very professional and quite particular about doing everything exactly right. They cleaned up at the end of every day very well. They showed up when they said they would. We feelthat we got our money's worth.

Description of Work: Nicholson Builders correctly diagnosed the drainage issue impacting our foundation and came up with a plan to a correct it. They worked hard alongside the subcontractors to get the job done. They installed a drain tile at the end of our driveway and a drainpipe along the drive and garage. This diverts rainwater that was putting pressure on the foundation. Once completed there were a few issues we brought up (cosmetic) that were promptly addressed.

The quality of the work is topnotch, the project managers are responsive and easy to get along with and they clean up every day after work.

 + 5 moreThey did an excellent job. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the final project. They spent many hours with us designing and redesigning the bathroom we wanted. They gave us a time schedule and were able to stick to the time frame. Chuck Curry was our project manager and he was always on top of things and going the extra mile to make sure the bathroom was first class. We couldn't be happier and will definitely use Nicholson Builders on our next remodeling project.
Description of Work: Complete remodel of large master bath, including large frameless shower with multiple heads, large air tub, custom cherry cabinets. New plumbing, fixtures, tile and granite. Project included moving some old plumbing fixtures, new electrical wiring etc.

 + -1 moreWe really liked John and he had wonderful ideas. It was clear he has a great eye for design and had lots of great suggestions and "visions" for the space. He spent a long time talking with us and sketching rough things out on a notepad. But he never followed up with us. We sent him an email and he wrote back saying he would have our estimate soon, then never emailed or called again. Perhaps our project was too small for them, but I wish they had just told us that. We ended up hiring someone else.
Description of Work: We had them in to give us an estimate on remodeling our kitchen and a possible room addition.

Dave Hough is a delight to work with as a Project Manager and as a person. He inspires better ideas and quality work from all the involved project people (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers, granite top providers, inspectors). All project people were 'good' people ... nice to get to know. Hold Nicholson Builders to their planned schedule and weekly activities. We enjoyed, and enjoy, their improvements to our home.
Description of Work: Remodel main bath; add 1/2-bath; extend bedroom closet; install five passage doors and two closet doors; install new front door; add office ceiling can lights; upgrade fire detection system from one to five.
