Description of Work: The work included fiber cement siding (Hardy)on the house and garage (we chose baked-on color), vinyl siding on porch ceiling, gutters with leaf guards, some extra painting of wood trim on the porch uprights (they also painted the garage door and side door to match the trim), baseboard around outside of garage, a custom-made wooden bracket support for back porch roof, ProVia storm windows on all windows and two ProVia storm doors. This is an old (80+ years) house and after tear off, it was found that old facia boards were rotten, so these were all replaced - and this extra was not added to the original estimate. They treated our house as if it was their own. The crew worked tirelessly to get everything right, they were respectful, neat and and didn't cared more about quality than about rushing to finish. We had great communication with the owner of NewLook. We are extremely pleased - this work surpassed all expectation. And we didn't pay a cent until the work was completed, at which time we did a walkthrough with the owner. This product also has great warranties. I highly recommend.

Description of Work: Wind damage repair to siding trim. Came out day after I called to assess. Estimated materials and labor would be available in a week. Actually completed early. Completed to our satisfaction. Pleasant to work with both owner and the repair man.

Description of Work: Newlook did a great job on the siding and trim work. Ed, their president, was very involved and took pride in the work. The workers also spent time to be sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. The house looks 100% better and is quieter then before the installation. Newlook even painted the one piece of trim that could not be covered with aluminum. | |Overall, a fantastic job by a great company!

Description of Work: Replaced siding that was torn off by a storm. The company missed the initial appt. but phoned and set up amother appt to give an estimate. They replaced the siding free of charge. Looks great! Will use them again for any future projects.

Description of Work: They were here when they said they would be. They even helped me clean my awnings, because I was injured in a car accident. The owner even had his man redo the front siding around my bay window because it looked to much like it did before they started. He gave it a lot nicer look.

Description of Work: Consulted Newlook to consider hardiplank siding. Nick look a look at my home and said the cedar was in excellent condition and with the right care, can last many more years to come. He also had some great suggestions on other exterior projects. It was very apparent Nick knows his job! Very professional and showed up on time in the rain! Awaiting a quote now but the company as far as professionally, gets my 'A' rating!

Description of Work: Contacted company to come out and provide an estimate for minor siding repair. They indicated they would do so, but have never shown up.

Description of Work: This company is listed on Angie's List and say they do siding repairs. I have personally called them 3 times to get an estimate on some siding repair. Once I left message on a machine and twice I spoke to someone and left my name and number and was assured of a reply. I have not had the courtesy of a reply. If they don't do repairs, they should take it out of their ad. At least give your customers the courtesy of a reply.

Description of Work: The siding on one side of our house was blown off and damaged in the windstorm created by hurricane Ike. Newlook was very prompt in responding with an estimate. We had sought bids from a few contractors and Newlook was 1 of 2 which was very prompt in making the effort to view the damage and prepare an estimate. Once we chose them, they completed the work within a week. Our house is only 5 years old and the siding was easy to find. Vince, the company representative, was great to work with and even came out on a Saturday to discuss the job! A great experience and a great company to work with!

Description of Work: I called for an estimate on repairs to my siding, and I was very impressed with the prompt response. Walt, the company representative, came out to my house within a few days, and did his best to locate the same siding that was already on the house. He returned in a couple of days with an estimate. Unfortunately, the company that caused the damage hired its own workman to repair it. I would definitely call Walt and New look Sidings again.
