Nelson's Cleaning

We were very pleased with their work. Exceeded our expectations based on other cleaning companies that we have hired. We have contracted with them to clean on a regular basis.

Nelsons group has been cleaning my house for about one year now, once a month. They are excellent. The girls are very polite and hard working and do a thorough job each time. We love Nelsons group and recommend them to anyone. Even after one year, we are still as impressed as we were the first time.

The trio came, worked non-stop for five hours the first time. It was a very very thorough job, no complaints (apart from the scent of one of the cleaners they use). They provide their own tools, cleansers, vacuum etc. The second time they worked for three hours. Third time two out of the three people were new - they worked 2 hours and were 15 minutes late. The fourth time they were 45 minutes late - again 2 out of 3 new. I told the group leader (always the same) I did not want different people in my home, Nelson said this was not going to be the case. I asked them to leave. I received a call from Nelson's assistant wanting to send me another crew. I told her unless it would always be the same group- no thank you.

Nelson lists he has 3 staff......in the 6 months or so we have used him, we have seen at least 8-9 different people in our home. I like to see the same people there every week.....frequent strangers make me nervous. Nelson starts for a few months, and then he disappears and "other" staff rotate in and then out, replaced by newer staff. The cleaning is generally good, but only Brazilian staff is used, and communication is often difficult. During the last cleaning, I came home to find the fault-interruption outlet in the bathroom was completely dead (the reset button would not restore the circuit) and several night lights had the bulbs blown out. Not sure what would have caused that, nor can I be positive that the cleaning crew was responsible, but it all worked when I left in the morning, and it was as described when I returned at night. Vacuum cleaner with a short?? I'll never know. Also, many times things are not put back where they were after cleaning.

It was a wonderful experience. Nelson is very attentive to detail. Originally thought that the job would take approx 5 hours. They ended up staying for 8 hours they barely stopped for lunch. With no change to the price. Nelson likes to get things clean. He has been a true joy to work with. We are having him come every other week that price is approx $130 a cleaning so I will give more details in the future. The quality is top notch. Our house has never looked or smelled so clean.

WOW! I am so impressed! They were REALLY good. They got behind everything! They took books out of shelves to clean (and of course put everything back). They scrubbed floors. They washed windows, vacuumed couches and curtains, cleaned the inside of bedroom closets, cleaned lamps, cleaned tops of cabinets and tall furniture. MOVED furniture to cleaned all around, behind and under it. I am thrilled! Well worth the cost (which I thought seemed high at first but once I saw the amazing job, I more than understood why).

I recently moved, and used Nelson at our previous home. Now that we're settled in a bit, we felt it was time to call Nelson to our new home (that and we have Christmas party at our home in a few days). Two of Nelsons crew started; they spent about four hours on our 2nd floor (4br/2baths). They spent about another hour on our first floor before Nelson and 3 other ladies came to help; the added crew spent another 1-1/2 hours cleaning 1st floor and basement rec room (and bath). All told about 21 ""person-hours" spent getting our house tidy. They scrubbed panel doors, bathrooms, moved furniture to clean and vacuum behind, cleaned lamps, wiped off books on the bookshelf, wiped down floors, etc. They did a fantastic job! Very thorough. I don't believe I ever saw them stop to take a break, either. Nelson is very pleasant person to work with, and I'm impressed with his entrepreneurial spirit. I look forward to him and his crew continuing to clean our house.

The team of 4 worked for 4.5 hours. They did an excellent job of cleaning a very dirty house.

I am consistently happy with the cleaning job Nelson's team does - they've been coming here for about four years. They clean surfaces I didn't even know were dirty. The individuals on the team and the time they come on the assigned day change occasionally, but the quality of work is consistently high. One piece of glassware that was broken was promptly replaced. They usually work while I'm at work and have proven completely trustworthy.

This was a great experience! Nelson came out to the property to give me an estimate with in a day or so of calling for the estimate. Nelson was very polite and professional. We set a time and his crew of 5 or 6 people showed up a few minutes early and worked magic for 4-5 hours (it is a 2600 sq. ft. house)! All the woodwork and wood doors & floors were sparkling, the fireplace was clean, the basement was clean. All the bathrooms were immaculate. The house even smelled good! It definitely had an old musty smell from being empty for over a year. Nelson did such a great job, I didn't have to clean a thing when our moving boxes came. We just walked in and put stuff on shelves and in cabinets. I would not hesitate to call Nelson again! If I decided to have more cleaning help on a regular basis he will be the first person I call. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate and they never showed up. They finally called about 3 hours later and didn't say anything about the no-show. He just said he could come out tomorrow. NO THANK YOU!

I have had the pleasure of using Nelson's since 2006 and they have consistently done a wonderful job. They try very hard to be accommodating and all the professionals I have encountered through the years have been hardworking and conscientious. Rosa handles the scheduling and she is always prompt about returning calls and is also a pleasure to work with. Great job!

I called to schedule an estimate and was called back promptly. My estimate was scheduled for the next day and Nelson arrived on time. His review of my home was so thorough and exceeded that of two other cleaning companies I have used in the past. Routine cleanings include far more items that with two other leading companies I have used, and I am excited to have found this company with what seems like unmatched attention to detail. I was scheduled for my initial service next week and as of my interactions with the company so far, believe this will be the last cleaning company I need to contact. I recommend them hands-down!!!

I am not sure that the weekly cleaning crew are really employees of Nelson's as we have to make the check out to them directly. The initial clean was great. My wife is very pleased with the quality of the ongoing cleaning, but the language barrier is significant.

We were completely blown away by the amount of detail that went into the cleaning. Including Nelson, there was crew of 4 people at our house for approximately 7 hours. They did not miss a thing. Some highlights of what was cleaned which obviously speaks to their attention to detail: baseboards; doors and the trim above the doors; underneath AND inside the stove, refrigerator, dishwasher; the heating and A/C registers; removed the shower drain covers, cleaned, polished, and replaced; dusted the exposed light bulbs in our bathroom; got a ladder and cleaned our plant ledges and ceiling fan blades; Cleaned under beds, behind dressers, anywhere dust could hide; Cleaned all the light fixtures. I could go on forever, but suffice it to say, NELSON'S CLEANING was amazing. The entire house sparkles. Granted it may cost more than others but the value for the price is unmatched.

Note that it can be hard to communicate with the workers, as some have limited english, although they are all citizens here. Just make sure that if you want special treatment of items (paintings, antiques), you need to tell them ahead of time. We had one ink drawing that got wet as it didn't have a frame, so it's important -- as with ANY company -- to be on top of what work you want done and how. If you don't want chemical cleaning products, just say so. Nelson's is open-minded and accommodating to your needs and desires.

The price was perfect and service was unbelievable. I was so pleased and could not be happier. They did everything, and got every nook and cranny.

Nelson Cleaning has been cleaning my house for about a year. When my son and daughter-in-law's home was going up for sale, they knew how happy I was with the way they cleaned my house, so they hired them to clean their house to get it ready to go on the market. Nelson came with three cleaners and they cleaned for 7 hours. They really cleaned. The house sparkled when they left! They were very polite and considerate in the home. Nelson is very friendly and helps clean right along with everyone. This is a great company. My son and daughter-in-law felt this was a very reasonable price for the amount of work and great results that were achieved.

I've used Nelson's Cleaning Service for about a year. They are by far the best housekeeping service I have used. They have never missed an appointment, are polite to a fault, and the house looks great when they're done. I trust them in my house. They are safe & patient w/our pets. There is some challenge w/communications, with English as a second language, but it hasn't interfered w/their ability to complete the work or respond to particular requests.

Mr. Nelson was was quick to set up an appointment for an estimate and was right on time. He was very polite and professional. He gave me an estimate for an extensive cleaning of the house, which was more than we wanted to spend. We asked for a more "basic" cleaning, and his quote was reasonable. We moved out of state, so we did not have an opportunity to see the house after he cleaned, but my neighbor said it was spotless.

They did not come when scheduled and did not call.

Nelson and his staff of three were awesome. They showed up promptly. Nelson is the "Mr. Clean" of cleaning. I have never seen such thoroughness and pride in their work. NOTHING was left unturned. They even washed the windows inside and out and I wasn't expecting this. The house sparkled and smelled wonderful and it was such a pleasure to move in fresh and clean. I will highly recommend Nelson and his staff to anyone and will not hesitate to have them come again. If there was a higher rating than A, Nelson would receive it. I recommend Nelson for the Page of Happiness. He and his staff are terrific, friendly people and we so enjoyed them and their hard work. He and his staff blessed our lives.

This company has been regularly cleaning the house for a few months; hard workers, always prompt, no problems to date.
