Nelson's Cleaning

Bruno came to the home and estimated how much our services would cost. We have a 3400 square foot home with 5 level split and we were able to work out a fantastic price for cleaning services. The first encounter with the staff was for a deep cleaning and the rest of the time was a standard, thorough cleaning twice per month. Every time that Nelson's comes out to clean, it is usually the same couple that you see with every cleaning. They are FANTASTIC, respectful, honest, professional and do a great job. They treat my son and my family very well, and are just overall great to have in your home. When the cleaning is done, my couple and I open our calenders and prepare for the next month in advance. What is nice with who I am with is that I am flexible and usually at home, so we do our best to benefit everyone. Thanks Nelson's for keeping my house super clean!!!

I placed a call & left a message @ Nelson's. A delightful lady, Rosa, returned my call. I told her how desparate I was to have my house cleaned. I explained my situation to her, and she made arrangements for her husband, Bruno, to come and give me an estimate. Bruno arrived at the appointment time and date. He looked over the house room by room and gave me an estimate, which I would like to point out did not change. He had me call Rosa back later in the day to set up an appointment for the workers to come, which I did. Bruno also came with the workers for the first appointment to introduce them to us and give them their instructions. Two workers came with him for the first visit and Bruno decided that there was need for another worker to help and went out and picked up another worker & brought him back. So, there were two young men and one young lady. All very polite, professional and hard working. This added worker never changed the estimate given. ALL of the employees, including Bruno, took off their shoes before entering the house. The workers were at the house WORKING from approximately 9AM till 5PM. They took only a short break for a bite to eat. Needless to say, my house was a wreck, but it certainly wasn't when they were finished. If I have missed describing anything that the Nelson's Cleaning employees did while they were here, it is my fault, not theirs. They didn't miss one single thing. They have truly been a God's send to us and we are extremely grateful for all their hard work. I am continuing to use them at present on a bi-weekly basis. If there is something special that I want for them to do while they are here, all I have to do is call Rosa or Bruno and make arrangements with them. They are extremely accommodating and congenial. They call and remind me that the biweekly appointment is coming up just in case it has slipped my mind. They are worth every single penny that is paid, are trustworthly, efficient, professional, polite and kind. I picked Nelson's at first because they were so highly rated on "Angie's List", and they certainly did not let me down. I would recommended them to anyone. Trust is an extremely hard thing to come by these days and Nelson's certainly has ours. After the first visit, Bruno, did a "white glove" walk through of the house. He didn't really have to, his employees did not let him down one bit. Nelson's did not let us down either. God bless them.

I called to make an appointment on Wed, they returned my call Thurs, and they came to my home on Fri. They did such a great job, I have them clean bi-weekly.

They are thorough. My daughter-in-law and granddaughter use them as well.

We have use them for about a year now. They come once a month. Usually the same team of 3 or 4 people the last Wednesday of the month. Only one speaks english. We have had a change in team members which I wasn't notified of and I had to call to find out who was in my house. They are very thorough.

We hired Nelson's service to clean our house before we moved into it. They did a wonderful job! It really made me feel better that we were moving into a clean house-they cleaned items I have never thought to clean before (lighbulbs, under the refrigerator, behind teh refrigerator, etc). And Nelson himself was out here cleanning with the staff. He left once for a few hours, but came back and inspected every detail before they left. he even made one of his staff wipe down teh front of the microwave again b/c he did not like teh smudge on it. I was impressed how much he cared about our house and our posessions. After our son was born, we hired them to come 2x a week and they do a spectacular job. I could not get the house this clean if I wanted to! They thoroughly dust every item in the house and get on hands and knees to vacuum and mop hard to reach areas. HIGHLY recommend!

This company had wonderful reviews, the very reason I chose them to clean our home. Just like many of the other comments ? our home is the cleanest it has ever been! Bruno came to give us an estimate ? he was prompt, honest and we were very comfortable inviting him into our home. His estimate seemed very reasonable and his bi-weekly cleaning rate was a great price. We scheduled a deep clean and Rosa was able to work with our schedule in the middle of the week. His crew was wonderful ? they were cheerful and polite ? and very respectful of our home and our pets. Our house looks amazing ? we are both so busy and this just makes our time together at home so much more pleasant!

Nelson's Cleaning is a very reliable service. They show up when scheduled and do an excellent job of cleaning. They pay attention to detail, move furniture and rugs as required, put things back in their proper place, are very careful and do an excellent job of cleaning. We have never had to ask them to go back and re-clean anything. The same two cleaning people (Nilza and Helio) that clean our house are very respectful of our family and home. This is especially important to us as we have four generations living here.

Their level of service is really good.

They're very thorough. The folks that come are really friendly, I trust them with my home. It is easy to schedule, they call and remind you when they're coming out.

They do a great job. They were prompt in getting back to me when I initially called them. I thought their initial price was high, but they did a thorough and complete job. The first time they do an overall deep clean kind of thing. Nelson himself came and checked everything. I decided to use them and they've been fine on a month to month basis as well.

Without exaggeration, I can say our house has never been this clean, not even when we moved in 2004. These three delightful young people worked intensely for a full day, leaving our house literally sparkling and deeply clean. Their attention to detail (all baseboards, heating vents, wooden venetian blinds, furniture, light fixtures are amazingly clean as never before) is remarkable. I feel different living in my house now that they have helped me reach a level of baseline cleanliness. And I appreciated their warm, personable but professional presence. I'm looking forward to a long-term ongoing arrangement with this company and these people.

Everything was good about what they did, but I do think that the price was high. They did the job in one day. Their response time was pretty quick from when I first called them.

Bruno came to my home and gave me an estimate and description of the cleaning. He and his crew came the following Saturday as arranged. It took 2 people and 12 hours to do a thorough cleaning. I was very impressed. There was not a surface left untouched. My home is now spotless. I plan to have them do a regular housecleaning.

They had three people working diligently during the afternoon. The house was spotless after they left. We have used them for biweekly cleanings in the past and have been happy, but the deep clean even exceeded our expectations.

They are wonderful! Their first deep cleaning is thorough beyond what I could have imagined even vacuuming the basement vents. Now each month they improve on it!

I had a cleaning service that I was extremely disappointed with - Nelson came to the house himself to provide me with an estimate and his recommendation for frequency etc. They first started by doing a deep-clean which was phenomenal! They brought a crew in and not 1 inch of the house was missed. I know have them every other week and couldn't be more pleased!

Nelson and a couple of his staff came to re-clean the house. They worked all day and did a wonderful job. At this point, I am quite pleased with the quality of the work and his professionalism in wanting to make the job right. Even though they are a bit pricey, if you need a house THOROUGHLY cleaned, Nelson's company can do the job. When he was leaving, he mentioned having to do a large job in Cinci and his normal staff was not available for the first cleaning. These were different folks than the first time. Thank you for caring to make it right, Nelson!

We initially contacted Nelson Cleaning to perform a detailed home cleaning (top to bottom) which was accomplished in about 4-5 hours and the house looked fantastic. We then hired them to come once a month for general cleaning. The first couple of cleanings were fine, but the quality of the work progressively dropped, and one particular day I happened to be home when an entire part of our carpet was damaged while they were vacuuming. None of the workers spoke English, so I called Nelson right away to report the damage. They agreed to pay for the repairs. I decided to give them another chance, however the work after that incident continued to be poor and several times appointments were missed, canceled or rescheduled. I also had problems with workers showing up earlier than expected, while I was still in the shower getting ready for work! I lost faith in their practices and decided I did not have time to micro-manage what should be an understood service. In the end it was not worth my time or my money to remain their client.

We're very happy with them. They rock and are the best cleaning service I've ever had. They're more thorough than other places are. They don't make ridiculous promises that they can't keep. They make reasonable goals and achieve them when they say they will.

My brother called desperate - they were expecting company in 2 days and needed their home deep cleaned. I recommended Nelson's Cleaning Service and they quickly made arrangements to do the job. They did a wonderful job cleaning - my brother's family was beyond pleased, and I was happily surprised to hear that Nelson's Cleaning was awarding me with one free cleaning for making this referral! Win, win, win!

Started out great, really great. Came when they were supposed to, did what they were supposed to. We require them to use our cleaning products - they don't affect my allergies. After the first 3 or so months, I started coming home to a house reeking of chemicals that gave me instant migraines, leaving me to open all the windows in the middle of the winter to get some fresh air. I called and asked if they would please use my products, and now leave a detailed note every time they come, so that was taken care of. But they now come whenever they feel like it - once before I was even out of bed - which is kind of an issue since we have sprinklers that leave no water pressure in our home (that's always a fun phone call...we can't work because you have no water...yeah, well, you're not supposed to be there for another 5 hours when the sprinklers shut off). They also left wet cleaning bottles on my wood windowsills, which left water stains. A lot of water stains. Looks lovely. Then after about month 5 the work got really shoddy - for example, it was CLEAR they hadn't picked anything up to clean it on the bathroom sink (they were cleaning around things), because there was a distinct line of hairspray tracing the soap dish, etc. on the sink. Around that same time, we had entertained and there were a few spills on our hardwood floors, which I didn't clean thinking that they would be cleaned by Nelson's in a couple of days. Nope. Came home the day of the cleaning and the floor was still sticky. And we're talking an area about 2 feet by 2 feet in the middle of the living room. And on more than one occasion I've had to sweep crumbs off of the kitchen floor - literally minutes after they left. Oh yeah, and for about 4 weeks they apparently forgot to clean the toilet in the guest bathroom, which was so filthy there was scum on the surface of the water. So, my resolve has been to call and complain. My calls are never acknowledged, but after each call they do start to do a decent job again. I think if you are willing to stay on them when things start to go downhill, which they inevitably will, these guys will work well for you. Heck, you get what you pay for, and they are REALLY CHEAP.

Nelson came to give an estimate. I wanted an estimate for just the floors, but he went through the house and told me at each step what his folks would do. Clean the blinds, light fixtures, windows (inside and out), stove, oven, etc. It sounded like such a good thing to do, I went along with it. He quoted me $450, but with a 10% discount if I paid cash. I'm not sure he had the ability to take anything but cash-I suspect that was a sales ploy, but did not challenge him on it. I thought it was high, but based on some of the good reviews here and the thought of having such a clean house, I agreed. He told me it would be 3 people for 8 hours. The night before the scheduled date, someone called to tell me they would be there at noon the following day. When questioning the 8 hour for 3 people promise, she told me they were sending 4 people. I rushed home from work at 4pm and the workers were in several rooms. I asked when they got there (because it looked like they had just started) and she said 2:00. They had only been there 2 hours. There was no where for me to go to get out of their way, so I took the dogs for a long walk. It was very tiring to come home from a long day and not be able to relax. They finished around 7:00 pm. I was so tired and anxious to get my house back, I just gave them the check without doing a thorough review of the work. None of them spoke English so when I asked when they would return for the monthly cleaning (Nelson told me they would leave a note stating the return date), they just motioned like they were holding a phone-basically saying Nelson would call me. He has not called me to find out how the service was or to schedule a new date. It has been about a month since they were here. They did some things well, but I was very disappointed in the kitchen. They sprayed chemicals in the oven and did not wipe them out-nor did they really clean the oven. The first time I tried to bake something, the oven cleaner smell filled the kitchen. They did not clean under the burners like he said they would, the tile was just lightly mopped and did not look clean at all. They did not clean the outside of the windows (they tilt in). They unplugged stuff and I had to go around resetting clocks and timers. The living room was totally mis-arranged. Nothing was back into its right place. Tables were left pulled out or put back backward. I spent a 1/2 hour after they left putting the room back together after they left. Although the blinds looked clean and the hardwood floors were clean and the bathrooms looked clean, it was not a $390 job. They really owe me a good kitchen cleaning and kitchen tile cleaning. I would let the windows ride. However, something tells me that they got their money and they will not call back.
