Nelson's Cleaning

We had the deep cleaning service. I am a tough grader and rating their work an A is not high enough. They came for the estimate on time and they came on time to do the work. They were thorough, professional and pleasant. I very highly recommend them and we will continue to use them on a regular basis. Our house has never been so clean.

First, I have to admit that it's been 12 years since I've cleaned my house thoroughly. In that time. everybody but me either died or moved out, and I got sick. That's what they had to deal with! It was so embarrassing! The estimate was fair, they called to confirm, they showed up on time, didn't hurt anything that I saw, and cleaned, in reality, probably better than I did as a healthy type-A person of yesteryear. For me, they gave me back my home. When I saw how clean (even the garage and basement) everything was, although I did admit that it had given me chills. I have had several other services in the past, and I always felt uncomfortable with cleaning crews. Not in this instance at all. I felt that they were understandably proud of their makeover. I'm not an 'over the moon' poster. In fact, I am often a little more negative. I could not have been happier.

Fantastic job! They sent over two very professional individuals who spent around 3 hours making the house look brand new. We had called several different companies and they had given us the best price range over the phone for the square footage (1650 sq ft) and upon arrival priced the job at the lower range of the estimate. We gave them a quick run through of what we wanted them to do and they gave us a time estimate but actually stayed a little longer and took care of some extra tasks we had not specified at no additional charge. By the time they left the house looked immaculate! Overall we were very pleased with their work and would gladly hire them again.

Team of 3 arrived promptly at 9am. Bruno the supervisor arrived with the crew to explain to them the details of what I needed cleaned.......everything. I had errands to run so although I was not at home most of the time, I did stop in a few times. Furniture was pulled out etc. everything was cleaned top to bottom! I am a picky person and would much rather "do things myself" to get the job done right. Nelson's deliver and did the job better than I could do myself. I will have them come back once a month, which cost is significantly less, $130.00 per visit. I personally do not know how they clean all they do for the price they charge. Their personal touches like vacuuming the carpet, folding hand towels and toilet paper, wow! They left around 2:30 pm. I walked from room to room realizing it was the best money I have spent. I could go on and on, but I think you get the message.

Wow. My house is unbelievably clean. It took almost 3.5 hours for them to finish my 2 BR, 1.5 BA condo, but it looks so good! I'm glad I found them--thank you, Angie's List!

I had called on Thursday night needing a cleaning on Friday. They called me on Friday morning saying they could send a team out that day. The team even arrived early. I couldn't have been happier -- both with the people who came, who were very responsive to my needs, and with the fabulous job they did. Although they said they would not have time for a detailed clean, they went above and beyond to make sure they got to everything. The place sparkled when they were finished. I'm grateful and would use them again!

Initially, we had very positive results, but over the years, we had a number of different cleaners come from Nelsons and the service quality diminished. I'm not sure if this trend is something others are seeing, but attention to detail has decreased, the cleaners rarely arrive when they say they will, and overall, we got tired of not seeing a fully clean house the day they were onsite.

The team arrived promptly at the time that was scheduled and cleaned my house from top to bottom. They did a very through job and are very nice to work with. I will continue to use their service. I highly recommend this cleaning company.

The overall experience was terrific. A crew of three were at the house from 8:30a - 7:30p on a Saturday. The house was cleaned beautifully and all of our personal items were cared for with detail. In the mid-day walk through Bruno found a couple of minor areas that needed work and the staff immediately took care of it. Our only recommendation would be that the owner/management join the cleaning crew in the morning when they get to the residence. This would have made us as the homeowners feel more comfortable since we only dealt with the owner during the "quote" process. This would allow for specific instructions to be communicated with the crew from the starting point of the cleaning process. It was a great cleaning experience and we have asked them to clean our home on an ongoing basis.

I called Nelson's Cleaning Company on a Wednesday requesting an emergency deep house cleaning prior to some out of town company arriving the following Wednesday. They returned my call within an hour; scheduled the estimate for the next day; and did the deep cleaning that same week on Saturday. I was amazed at their responsiveness! The team of three cleaners worked from 8:30 AM until 7:30 PM to complete the job. The house sparkled! They cleaned every surface and their cleaning products made the house smell so fresh! The floors have never looked so good since they were new. The crew was very professional and pleasant to have around. I have now scheduled a cleaning every two weeks and can't wait to have them back. I highly recommend this company, and have tried several cleaning companies in the past, so I have a frame of reference.

We had tried other cleaning services and were often disappointed. We then found Nelson's Cleaning on Angie's List and tried them for a deep cleaning. Wow! We were amazed at what they cleaned during the deep cleaning (tops of door jams, sink drains, appliances pulled out, vents/cold air returns cleaned out -- and the list goes on and on.) Our place felt brand new when they were done. We now use them for regular cleaning every other week, and we couldn't be happier. Their prices are reasonable, they hire hard-working, reliable people who care about the quality of their work and constantly ask for feedback. They clean on the days and times that work for us. If you are even thinking about a cleaning service, call Nelson's. I recommend them to all my friends and co-workers.

They did my initial deep clean on their first visit and it was amazing. My house has never been so clean. The bi-weekly cleaning they do a good job but they are not as detailed as the initial deep clean. They do need to consistently clean my windows and that has not been done.

See above. I cannot imagine a more complete and satisfactory service. I recommend them highly.

I called Nelson's Cleaning and left a message. They called me back with in an hour. We set-up a time when Bruno would give me an estimate. He arrived on time and spent time looking at each area so he could give a fair estimate. He said that it was $300 and that ws what I was charged. There were no added costs. We set-up a time when they would come to clean. They arrived on time and stayed until the job was done. They cleaned until they were finished, which was about 6-8 hours. I have never had someone clean my house thoroughly. I have already used them again for a general cleaning.

The cleaning was average. We found some damage to our walls, they ruined a shower mirror by using a scratch pad on it, they left cleaning solution in the ice/water dispenser tray, and they left our home unsecured on numerous occasions. After these problems and an unexpected change to our financial situation, we decided to stop the service.

Nelsons cleaned our home for about 7-8 months. The price I think was good - don't have anything to compare it to. The first deep cleaning was amazing and we were really impressed. They cleaned for about 8 hours straight and the house looked better than it ever had. Over the course of the next few cleanings however they were not able to maintain the same quality. We gave this feedback, and also reported issues when they occurred, including scratched windows, red candles laid on white carpet leaving stains, and an overhead lamp broken that in turn damaged our wood floor. Owner Bruno refused to submit an insurance claim for the floor offering alternatives of free cleanings or a family contractor that would repair it. We did not feel comfortable with the contractor, so we opted for 3 months of free cleaning. After the final free cleaning, I noticed and reported some residue that was left behind on the wood floor. This turned out to be due to a new product we were using to help the floor shine. So I called back and told them no worries see you next month. At this time we were told that the cleaners no longer felt comfortable cleaning our house because every time it is an issue. I asked to speak to Bruno and was told he was busy. I asked if he could call me when he was not busy and she said we'll see. Feeling blown off I expressed my frustration and was told that I should be happy that I got free cleanings. When I pointed out that our floor was damaged I was told that it was scratched and ruined to begin with. Regardless of the fact that this is completely untrue I also felt insulted and belittled. Completely unprofessional. Bruno has not yet returned my call.

Fabulously! The house was left spotless, free of cobwebs, dust bunnies and shining and smelling like new!

I sent an email requesting a cleaning quote. I was called back the first business day after sending the email. We set up the time for the estimate, which was within a couple of days and based on my schedule. The estimate just took a few minutes...I walked him around the house and then he wrote up and gave a written estimate to me. We scheduled a date and time. The office called and confirmed the date and time that same afternoon. Mr. Rosa arrived with his associates as scheduled at 8am Saturday December 31st. They went to work immediately. They were flexible with what was going on at our house. My daughter was sleeping and we have both cats and dogs. Six hours later they were done. They let me know they were leaving. The house looks so great! I can't say it enought!!! I feel so good and am going to tell everyone how great they are!!!

Excellent. Nelson's did even more than we expected. Very clean. Oven, floors, shower doors, light fixtures.

Our house is about 3200 square foot and they provide the cleaning supplies. It is the same cleaners every time. We have used them for several years now. There was one husband and wife couple that we started with. When they came in for the original cleaning, they did major deep clean. That was several years ago and I don’t remember the price. After that deep clean, then we had the same people come to clean every two weeks. We had one married couple that we have had for a couple of years. They left the country to go back home. Another married couple has since replaced them. They are very personable and very responsible. They are very respective of everything that we have in the house. If there is ever a problem that we need to switch a date or time, it is just one simple phone call and they are very accommodating.

I live outside the norm so I have to pay more. I like their consistency and they use the same people. They are very thorough.
