Made an agreement with Jason Russell, owner of Nautilus Aquatics to repair, expand, and provide new pump for our outdoor Coy pond on May 5, 2014. He stated the work would cost $2,600. We gave him $1,500 up front for this work. We chose Nautilus from their web site, member of BBB, and member of Angie's List. Jason stated that the work would take two to three days to complete and would start the next week. After several delays the only work that has been done is a small hole has been dug for the expanded part of the pond which took two hours to dig. We have had several email conversations with Jason where he committed to show up and complete our work but did not. On June 16, 2014 I asked for a schedule that he would stick to and complete the work. He sent me back a pretty nasty email stating I should not question him at any time about his work. On June 21, 2014 I again asked if he planned on completing the work and a schedule and gave him the option to cancel the work and return the deposit. On June 24, 2014 I sent another email notifying him that we not longer need his services since he would not communicate or complete the work. I also asked for our deposit to be returned by July 7, 2014. As of July 7, 2014 we have not heard from Nautilus. Each time he asked for a delay we agreed to work with him but he would not show up. We feel that this work should have been completed or our money returned long ago.
Description of Work: Provider failed to perform agreed to work. Provider agreed to expand, clean, repair, and provide new pump for outdoor coy pond.

This is not tue at all. This client was fired by us for oogling and making sexual comments to one of my helpers and for being extremely abrasive, condescending and rude. I refunded the client minths ago for the unused portion from the down payment so we are not sure why the are going around trying to slander our companies name. We would like to see them cease and desist and remove these false reviews as we completed about half of the work before the clients abrasive behavior caused us to drop the client. It is also untruthful that the client never received a refund. I would advise that any business relationship is a 2 way street. It takes the maturity and dedication of both parties to make it happen. Slander and libel when they are fictitious are not a mature way of handling things.

He did not complete his job. The guarantee was not honored.
Description of Work: He drained my pond to raise the bottom. He put the old liner back and sealed up a leak on the skimmer. After 24 hours I started the pond up and he cashed the check. The pond worked for one hour. After five calls he responded with, "I have other customers."

We notified the client that first we would like to try a more cost effective solution to the problem but there is a chance that this solution might not work. We tried it and it didn't work. I did discuss going back and laying out the in depth steps to resolve the issue but got tied up out of state on a family matter (my mother was placed in hospice and passed away) this family matter took a cot of time to resolve. So at this point I would be more than happy to offer a discount on any further services required ton fix the problem but it will be a much larger project than it initially was through. No fault of our own but due ton the dynamics of the overall faulty design of the pond by another company. So yes a discount is available we do not offer refunds as stated on our site and due to the situation we would not offer a refund in this case as it was pointed out that there are no refunds and the cost effective solution migt not work to begin with. We will however honor a generous discount on completion of the pond but this would involve a complete redo. Feel free to contact us. Thank you
