We hired Muetzel plumbing to repair our kitchen sink, specifically to remove the existing basket strainer, remove the existing drain line tubular, install a new basket strainer with a chrome finish, install a new tubular to include new p-trap, and check for any leaks. We got 2 other estimates, and Muetzel had the best price (we specifically liked that there was no "in the door" fee), and I really appreciated how much time Mike Cisar spent going over the job when he came for the estimate. He also responded directly to my request to schedule the repair at a time when I would be home from work - rather than putting me into a window (like 8-12), as some other companies do. Alvin did the actual plumbing repair work. He was polite, efficient, and focused. The company had estimated one to two hours to complete the job, and it took considerably less time than that. Overall, very pleased with the work.

Extremely friendly and efficient, explained everything in simple terms, and I would recommend them to anyone. Performed at my house.

I used Muetzel once before about 5 years ago and was very pleased with the work they did then. Like then they responded immediately to my original contact. Then they (two members of their team) gave me a good schedule for their visit, they showed up on time and clearly explained to my wife in advance their findings and recommendations and the costs. Then they did the job and did it well. They recorded their findings and recommendations in great detail in the work order they wrote up. I really appreciated that they made a good and ultimately successful attempt to find the cell phone on their own before using the Camera method which would have cost much more and taken more time. Also I really like the new features on and the installation of my Main Pump, and the improved set up with the back up Sump Pump and now won't lose sleep worrying about it. I highly recommend Muetzel for your plumbing needs.

Muetzel Plumbing did a great job for me yesterday in my new house. We bought the house knowing that we would need to have a plumber come and correct 4 issues. Muetzel had an A rating on Angie's list, so we called. They had 2 plumbers out to the new house at 8 AM on the first day we were available. They inspected the problems we had and went out to the truck to do an estimate. They came in and the estimate was in the range I had been given by the home inspector, so we went forward with the worker. Steve and Steve (I'm not making this up) had everything they needed on the truck and were able to complete all 4 jobs at least 90 minutes faster than they estimated. They worked quickly, did a good job, were very patient with my questions and actually came in a few dollars under their estimate. This was after they found a problem I was unaware of. All in all this was a great experience and I would gladly recommend them again.

The guy was a little talky, but he was very informative. He did a good job and was very professional.

I hired Muetzel Plumbing to do the above work. A certified journeyman plumber named Alan came out. He was on time, explained the procedure, and quoted me a price. He answered all my questions. He estimated an hour and a half for the job; it took a little less time, but with the discussion was a little more. He put a mat down and worked neatly leaving no mess. He was efficient and polite. He had all the materials he needed in his truck and brought all his tools in at once so I wouldn't have to keep opening the garage door to let him in. I was very happy with the work, overall. After he left I realized that the metal rim surrounding the sink drain, which was about 1/2-5/8" wide, on the side he replaced, was shiny, whereas the other sink's rim was a brushed or matte finish. They are close but not a match and this will be noticeable every time I look at the sink. It would have been better, I feel, to have brought this up before the work was begun, whether or not there was a feasible alternative. It is for this reason that I gave quality of work a "B" rather than an "A." The price was originally $175.00, reduced by an Angie's List coupon to $155.00. There is a year's warranty on the work. I felt the price was reasonable, especially with the discount.

Great. Muetzel's plumbers are very professional and good at communicating with the customer both during the estimate and the work itself. They are very knowledgeable and good at troubleshooting (they assessed another toilet issue for us and saw that we just needed to make a small adjustment). The workmen came on time, wore shoe covers, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. They also properly tested the toilet before leaving.

Needed a plumber to take a look at a wobbly toilet after a home inspection. Got a plumber come right out and quickly fix the problem.

I was told that the hourly rate was $110 an hour. What I found out later was that the charge was per task. He was only in the house working for two hours. I was expecting a bill of around $300 for the whole job. After the work was finished I was handed a bill for $527 and it was then explained to me that I was being charged per task plus for the parts. I was never told this before the work was started and it was only afterwards that it was explained to me that other folks in the past have had the option to decline service once it had been explained that they would be charged by the task. If I'm told that the hourly rate is one thing I would expect that all I would pay is the hourly rate and not be charged per task. The fee isn't even prorated, if it only takes 20 minutes to snake a drain it would still cost $110.

My experience was dissatisfying. He came out, took 1 look, and decided anything he told me would be just ok. I felt overcharged for the services he was wanting to do. I only had him to the 2 most urgent services in that case.

Steve was very prompt and coming over the next day. We opted to have the problem fixed while Steve was there evaluating the problem. We were selling the house and we were on a strict time line. Although, they did a good job we felt that they were very over priced and we had to call back to have the description of work done translated because we couldn't read his writing.

I called them when a leak started in the upstairs bathroom sink. Water was pouring from a light fixture in the living room. I went the basement and shut off the water to the whole house. I contacted them to come out and see exactly what was leaking. They came out promptly, diagnosed the problem (failed hot water supply line). They replaced both water supply lines to the sink and then tested the lines for leaks. There were no more leaks.

I thought I would have to pay for emergency/ after hour service - but they had a plumber finish a prior job early so the sent him to me. Not only was the work done correctly and in a professional manner; but also, the quality and thoroughness was exceptional. I highly recommend Muetzel Plumbing.

I called the emergency 24-hour response line. I got a call shortly after from MIKE who gave me an upfront accounting of the pricing and when he could be there. He arrived on time and was very easy to work with and got right to work... he showed me what the problem was and fixed it. He was very helpful and fixed the problem. I would strongly recommend this company and was grateful to Mike for his help and humor.

David was very professional and informative and explained everything that he was going to do. He did a very nice job and cleaned up when he was done. I was shocked to say the least at the price. I was told by another plumber at Muetzel in December that it would be about $700 or $800 to replace the water heater. $1,100 seems like a steep price to replace a water heater when you can buy them for about $450 at Lowe's. Had I known that the price was going to be so high prior to David arriving at my house, I probably would have rescheduled with a different plumber. However, I had taken the day off work to have the water heater replaced. I'm not blaming David as he does not get paid on commission. It's just that I have used Muetzel Plumbing 3 or 4 times now and feel like I was at a disadvantage when he told me the price. I would expect that a regular customer would not get taken advantage of.

Shawn and Nick were excellent plumbers and did a perfect cleanup after this messy job. I would recommend Muetzel Plumbing and these two guys because it was a job well done. They had to use power tools to loosen floor cleanout plug. That was using an electric drill and wrenches since it did come out easy. Used a running jetter and camera to clean out drain. Once the drain was unplugged and there was no more flooding they replaced the floor cleanout drain with a twist plug.

It was fabulous. He was prompt. He came to our house within 2 hours. Service Tech's name was David. I am thankful David was able to come and fix our problem quickly. He was very helpful and efficient.

It went great. They are always very professional.

Basement floor drain was backed up. Event occurred on the weekend requiring emergency service. The Service Provider arrived within the estimated time he had provided. He was very professional, provided information on what caused the back-up and what needed to be done to clear it. He also provided an estimate prior to performing any service and the work was completed in a timely manner.

Muetzel came out today to make the repairs. The manufacturer of the bath tub faucet could not be identified to find parts. Also, in order to replace faucet an access panel would have to be installed. Technician was able to use parts in van to fix box faucets without having to replace either. The actual cost was much less than estimate.

Called to have quote for adding a half bath and to move washer to new location. Plumbing needed for both. Told the women that I needed and afternoon( 4pm) or Saturday appt for the estimator due to to our work schedule. She said it was IMPOSSIBLE. She made is very clear that there was no way to have the estimator come out that late or even think about a Saturday appt. Be leary of this group as they do not have any sort of customer service right from the get go. Gues they don't need my business and probable dont need yours either. Doug VF

Adam came and replaced the valve on the water line to the ice maker and found the source of the leak from the upsatairs shower. It took a while to find and order replacement parts for the leaky shower valve. The shower now works great and we repaced the parts that were not working well. We are very happy with the shower and the work that was done.

Sean from Muetzel Plumbing came out and fixed a broken sink gasket and pipe in our mudroom as well as fixed a leaky faucet and hose attachment on an outside faucet. He was punctual, friendly, and did a nice job explaining what he was doing. I found his work excellent, pricing reasonable, and he accepted the Angie's List coupon for $20.00 off.
