They called me back and let me know what day and approximately when the man was coming out. They called a half an hour before he came to let me know he would be here. His name was Shawn. He was very polite, neat and tidy. He cleaned up well after himself. My drain is now working well! I would absolutely hire them again.

He came in and gave an estimate. I agreed to the work and he completed it. Friendly and professional - thanks!

I was concerned about relighting the water heater myself because I don't know much about them. Technician re-lit it and pointed out to me (diplomatically) that it is still under warranty. He also advised me that if it goes out again, I should call the manufacturer. I got them on the phone while he was here and he spoke with them about it having a possible internal leak versus condensation. If it goes out again, I will call them. The upstairs toilet was basically not functioning well because it is not used enough. I don't know how he got it to flush and refill but he checked it out and said it just needs to be flushed more often. He was very patient in explaining my plumbing problems.

Adam came out and looked at a couple plumbing issues. He was very honest about what he could do and what I could do myself. I decided to try to repair my drain myself and will call Muetzel back if I need help. He then helped me do a small job cutting some pipe. I was impressed with Muetzel on all fronts. They set an appointment time, called me to confirm, and called in the morning to let me know they would be 30 minutes late because they had an emergency call. Adam was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Muetzel Plumbing.

He was very professional, responsive and very knowledgable. His rates were reasonable, he was efficient, and he didn't leave a mess. I would recommend him to others. The first job he did was about $180-$210. The second job was about $120.

They responded to my email with a call, scheduled the service when it was convenient for me, showed up on time, gave me an estimate and did the work. They even reminded me that there was an Angie's list coupon for $20 off.

Our water heater suddenly stopped working on a Tuesday morning. We called a couple of companies who could not get to us before the end of the week. Muetzel's phone operators were very polite and they made an extra effort to work us into their schedule for that day. Within a couple of hours, their serviceman came to the house (with the heater already in his truck - no waiting for a trip to a dealer!), and removed the old heater and replaced it. He was very polite and professional, and when the job was done, he offered to show me the new heater and talk about maintaining it. All in all a very good experience, and I REALLY appreciated the effort Muetzel made to fit me into their schedule when I was desperate.

I had a leak over my stairwell which I could not determine where it was coming from. I called Muetzel Plumbing after reading reviews on Angie's list. When I called the lady that answered was very courteous and set up an appointment to fit my schedule. She gave me a half hour time frame in which to expect the serviceman and explained how they do business. That morning in the scheduled half hour Shawn arrived. He immediately put on booties over his shoes before coming in the house. He looked at the ceiling and then thoroughly inspected both upstairs bathrooms and did not see the problem. He then offered to cut a hole in the ceiling and use a camera to look for the leak giving me a price for that service. I approved and he cut out the drywall, found the leak and immediately repaired it. In doing so he covered the carpeting and cleaned up very well after. I had been advised the main bathtub drain was eaten up by drain cleaner and thought I was looking at a very costly repair. I was very impressed with Shawn and have already recommended Muetzel Plumbing to a friend.

They replaced piping in the house; they also redid the plumbing in a couple of sinks.

He was extremely prompt and explained everything he did. He answered all my questions and was very professional.

It went very well. Mike tested the toilet repeatedly and determined that we most likely wouldn't need major repairs to the pipes.. He explained in detail how the toilet and the pipes would work in the event of a large clog and recommended a way to avoid a similar problem in the future. He gave me the price to remove the toilet and put a camera down the pipe as well as to replace the lead bend under the toilet.

I've done business with them before, and have always felt they did a good job. They continued the trend this time, too. I received an appointment that was convenient for me, and the repairmen, installers were punctual, polite, professional. I'm assuming everything they installed was OK, but I know if I have any problems, they'll make it right immmediately. Their prices, as usual, are higher than some other contractors, but I know they do quality work, so it's worth the difference to me. I plan to have them come out and do some other plumbing work (e.g., install new toilets) in the future.

While not an emergency, we called Muetzel and left a message late Friday. Early Monday Muetzel called to say a technician was on his way. He arrived, checked it out, gave us a reasonable quote, and fixed the problem quickly and rechecked the sump operation. No fuss, no muss, just expertise!

Shawn came out (on time)and explained the problem and the resolution. The first choice, and the cheaper, was to try and rebuild the faucet. When it still leaked Shawn replaced the faucet. NO LEAKS. he did not charge me anymore than the quote even though he tried the cheaper fix first. He also tested it with the hose on for any pressure leaks and had both myself and my wife try it. We also had a $20 coupon from Angie's list

Excellent - I'd contract with Muetzel again in the future and give this company my highest recommendation! The service technician (Shawn Wardle) was excellent on all fronts - punctual, thorough, and sensitive to a request that our lawn and yard remain intact throughout the repair work, which required digging to replace sections of a crushed pipe.

We had a leaky hot water stop valve in the master bathroom sink and a leaky faucet for the hot water in that same sink. David from Muetzel quickly confirmed the problems then quoted me their prices for the stop valve, the replacement set for the faucet and a whole new faucet. He didn?t try to sell me anything. I agreed to have just the stop valve replaced as the other prices seemed expensive. David made the repair in the no time. He also walked me through each step of the way. During the repair conversations it came up that our Air Conditioning blower didn?t want to work. While in the basement David noticed our HVAC line out to the outside was covered with ice/frost. He suggested we needed to have an expert come out to have a look and even tried to contact a colleague who is HVAC qualified for a free consultation. Very nice and helpful!

They were very good considering everything he did. The clean up was fantastic and they were knowledgeable and explained everything great.

My request for service was scheduled for the day after I called for repair and I was called when the serviceman was on his way. At the time the service was booked I was asked how I heard of Muetzel and when I responded that I used "Angie's List" I was told I would get a $20 deduction if I gave the serviceman my Angie's coupon. I did so after the repair and the quoted price of $99 was reduced to $79.

It went well. David came out and diagnosed the problem, but did not have the parts. He contacted Moen the manufacturer and got them to send the parts free since it was still under warranty. Parts came in 2 weeks and we called Muetzel again. David came out and fixed the faucet. David is very skilled and professional. Only disappointment was that we had to pay for two service calls to get the problem fixed.

Tech identified and explained the problem, and was able to replace the toilet, all in the same morning.

Plumbing repairs are expensive. With that said, this company was fast to respond and very professional.

We clogged the kitchen sink by putting pasta ( lots of pasta ) down the disposal on Saturday. I could not clear it by plunging it so I called Muetzel to come out. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and tried to help me save money ( there is a surcharge for weekend service calls ) by offering tips on how I could snake it myself. I snaked it about 15 feet but could not clear it. So I called back the next day, Superbowl Sunday. I got a different gentleman who came promptly, did not mind coming out on Sunday, and was very courteous. He was quick and efficient and the drain was snaked clear in no time. I will use Muetzel for any plumbing needs in the future.
