They did a good job, they were reliable and came on time.

I had an emergency at 10 pm on a saturday night and they ran right out. They did a wonderful job. I trust him not to take advantage when it comes to pricing and I will only use them for my plumbing needs.

Prompt and professional employee arrived. Evaluated job provided price. As with any plumbing job I have ever been around, he was able to react to unforeseen problem. Like the fact they are stocked with necessary parts. Feel comfortable with the workmanship performed.

The entire project went as planned. They started about 8:30am and finised about 6:00pm. One of the two men worked on the Kitchen drain and washer discharge project. This was completed by a little after noon at which time he left. The other plumber stayed to complete the bathtub/toilet piping project. He finished up by about 6:00p.m. Both men were very professional, courteous. Dave, the lead plumber, took the time to explain each phase of the repair/replacement process, and always answered the questions I had about the projects.

I have used Muetzel Plumbing & Heating twice this summer and have been very happy with the service, price and responsiveness. The first plumbing issue was a cracked outdoor faucet. The plumber not only replaced the broken line he also installed a turnoff value and sealed the outdoor part of the faucet to the siding. All at a very reasonable cost. The seconded time I called I needed a new disposal, they arrived on time and replaced the the old disposal with a new one in a matter of minutes. All in all a great experience.

Their bid was much higher than the other company. There's a dramatic difference between the two, that's why we chose the other company. The gentleman who came out was not very organized, and he gave me a bid that I could barely read because it was handwritten. It's hard to tell what was being quoted for, and the bid was very high.

Adam was very professional, punctual and pleasant to work with. He explained everything he had to do to fix the leak. I called on July 1 and he came out the next day. He went back to the shop to pick up Nick who helped him with the work. They cut out the leaky pipe from the bathtub and replaced it with plastic piping. They also fixed the drain stopper in the tub that no longer worked. Now, the tub will hold water. They were very courteous and professional. Were at my house about two hours. I had no idea what to expect regarding the price. Adam gave me an estimate when he first looked at the job and it turned out to be much lower when he was done. I thought the price wa fair with them being at my house two hours. Would hire again and will recommend to friends.

Diagnosed the reason for low water pressure. Provided an estimate. Fixed the job.

Everything was perfect. They're reasonably priced, they did it quickly, the guy was very smart, and he was very efficient. I was very happy with them.

The young lady on the phone told me that they would be here between 8-8:30 am. Two pleasant and professional gentlemen came out and told me how much it would cost. They fixed the toilet and gave me a $20 discount.

I called them this morning and they were able to have a tech to the house by 1. After thoroughly checking the bathroom sink, toilet, and bath and even the laundry room lines we decided to have Adam cut into the ceiling to get to the source of the leak. After further checking Adam found the problem and it wasn't even a plumbing issue. It was our AC duct line that's improperly installed. Condensation is leaking from that, running across the ceiling, along the floor joist and finally pooling right under where our bathroom sink is, which is what we assumed the problem was when we called Muetzel Plumbing. I can say enough about how thorough Adam was. He exhausted all possible avenues before having to cut into the ceiling even though we had given the go ahead for him to do so. We will definitely use Muetzel for any and all future plumbing needs.

Muetzel came out and gave a very competitive quote and explained exactly how they could tie in to the shower drain. They gave no guarantees but their description gave me confidence that it would work (and it did). I called and made an appointment immediately after getting the quote and it was about 10 days before they could get to it. It wasn't an emergency so this wasn't a concern. They showed up on time and got right to work. Took about 3-4 hours. They checked for leaks and cleaned up the mess. Very professional and I would definitely use them again.

The service technician, David, was excellent. He arrived on time. His work seemed efficient as well as tidy. He removed an old kitchen faucet. He installed a new shut off valve the to faucet and added a shut off valve to the dishwasher. He checked for leaks. The new faucet was purchased by me. The work cost $200.00 and I received a $20.00 discount for Angie's List members.

Emergency repair and replacement of a lemon of a water heater - Whirlpool, I bought just 3 years ago. A little pricey- but will probably be a good thing in the long run...replaced with a RUUD water heater - a division of RHEEM. Steve was great. Came right away. Tried to repair first before we figured out I had a water heater - gone bad.

I had just used Muetzel the previous week for a leaky toilet. They did a great job. When the pipe in my basement cracked I called them again, and they came out within a couple of hours. Response time was great. The guy who came out was the same one as last week. We went to the basement and he showed me where the pipe had cracked, and we went over what needed to be done. Knowing that there is a significant difference between working on houses 100 years old and new homes, I asked if there was someone in their company who had experience with old houses. He said yes. He went out to his truck to write me an estimate. When he came back in he said that the guy with experience would not be available for 9 days, but that he could do it in 2 days. He told me it would be $1200. This seemed to me, even though I am not highly educated in the pricing of plumbing, to be a bit high. Actually it seemed like a "don't want to do this job" price. So I called a neighbor who is highly educated in the pricing of plumbing and he referred me to another company. They came out within an hour, gave me an estimate, showed up this morning, did the job in 2 hours, and charged me $600. Go figure. I know that Muetzel has numerous glowing reviews on here, as was the review I wrote on their visit last week. However, this week....when the money was significant - not so great.

Adam from Muetzel Plumbing showed up, as announced, before 8:00 a.m. and completed the work competently (so far as we know). No complaints. He finished the job in about 2 hours. We're happy.

The person that answered the phone said that she could not give an estimate or even disclose their hourly rate. I would have to schedule someone to come to my house for 3 visits, once to give the estimate in addition to the 2 visits for the work. I did not have time for all of this, so I disconnected the plumbing myself. I lacked the confidence to reconnect everything. I had used Meutzel a few years ago and figured that it would only take a few hours to do the work. The service tech arrived to give the estimate and if all went as expected to complete the work.I had all the parts (faucet, stainers, disposal) except new PVC that may be needed because the sink was a different size.He gave me an estimate of $594. I was shocked. I questioned the tech wondering if he had based his quote to include parts (ie the faucet install was $200 and the disposal was $258). He stood by his quote but offered an Angies' List discount, which was insignificant. I really did not want to do this myself, so I immediately called and asked to speak to the supervisor. I was told he was not available. I left a message and asked that he call me back. He never did. I did the work myself, it took me 4 hours. I ended up needing to exchange the sink because of a defect so I had to do the work again. It took me 1.5 hours the second time. I would imagine that an experienced plumber could complete the work in less time and PVC pipes are pretty cheap.

They were fantastic. They gave a reasonable quote, did the work, and never charged more than their original estimate. I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing.

They have always been very honest and upfront with me. This is the second time I am using them and I will definitely use them again in the future.

The tech they sent was extremely helpful and personable -- he did a great job walking me through what could be wrong and the options for how to fix it. In the end, the toilet just needed a new wax ring installed, rather than a flange extender (which is what I thought it might need). Turns out I am not so great at installing wax rings, so the tech took care of it, including letting me look over his shoulder to learn. I had no problem paying the $$ for the piece of mind of a leak-free toilet, which is what I now have!

Muetzel sent the same technician out to finish the faucet repair job. He replaced the bathroom faucet with a new one he had ordered. I have an older small sink which is hard to fit. I had tried to get a replacement faucet myself from Kraftwood Plumbing, but had been unable to. The sink drain was found to be clogged so he snaked that to clear it out. He finished his work and returned to doublecheck for problems and found the supply pipe which he had supplied was leaking, and he fixed that. There is a tiny scratch in the faucet which I don't think I noticed until after he had left. The price seemed a bit high.
