Description of Work: The handyman assured me that he could fix a broken door in the masterbath. When I went upstairs after he left, I found that it had not been repaired. If he didn't know how to fix it, he should have just said so. This experience has given me a very bad impression of Angie's List. Apparently, anyone can sign up with you.

Description of Work: ON OCTOBER 25th (a.m.) I ACTED IN GOOD FAITH, AND CALLED MR. FXIT AND LEFT HIM A VOICEMAIL MESSAGE: I IDENTIFIED MYSELF & LEFT A BRIEF BUT DETAILED MESSAGE, TO DATE, HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALL. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET, WHAT RUDENESS!!!! ONCE AGAIN, ON 0TOBER 25th, 2011 I ACTED IN GOOD FAITH WHEN I PURCHASED A MEMBERSHIP FOR $30 PLUS DOLLARS: I AM SO SORRY I EVEN BOTHERD WITH YOUR COMPANY: I FEEL AS THOSE I HAVE BEEN DUPPED OUT OF MY MONEY: IF THERE WERE QUESTIONABLE AREAS W/THIS VENDOR WHY WOULD YOU CONTINUE TO SUPPORT HIS PRACTICES? NOT ONLY DID I MAKE AN "UNWISE" PURCHASE BY GETTING A MEMBERSHIP TO ANGIE'S LIST, I STILL DON'T HAVE THE WORK DONE! PLEASE ADVISE ME WHEN I CAN EXPECT A REFUND/CREDIT!

Description of Work: Once again, it's Walt to the rescue! During the week of July 4, my tenant had called about a potential leak disaster in the basement of the condo she rents from us. She explained there was water on the floor etc. My 1st thought was to rip out the drywall and fix the plumbing, a major undertaking. So, I called Walt and prepared to hear the bad news. Turns out, it was just a small leak in the pipe under the sink and he fixed it right up. Problem solved, my fears allayed. Walt has a key to both my rental and my current home; I trust him to do work for me when I'm not there and my tenant trusts him as well. He is always available when I call, or "20 minutes away". I rely on him quite a bit and we're very glad we found him on Angie's List!

+ 6 moreWalt returned my phone returned right away, he gave me a free estimate when he arrived. He was always on time and very thorough and detail oriented with his work. I left him in my home and he was very trustworthy and conscientious and the most beautiful thing to me was that at the end of everyday he cleaned up after himself, which means a lot. I would recommend his services without any hesitation.
Description of Work: I had water in my basement so he had to replace drywall insulation and some studs from three feet down. He put in gutter guards did some painting and ceiling repair. He installed a new laminate floor, faucets and a sink. He also corrected a problem I was having with my sump pump.
