It was good, we didn't use it for 2 days as recommended. Plus they made sure we knew not to clean it with anything abrasive, and that dropping hard/sharp things in it could damage the surface. Also to wax it every now and again (with car wax!!) The caulk they put on was a bit skinny. I decided to redo the caulk 2 yrs later as some of it was starting to come off (as caulking does especially on a bath, and caulk is not covered under the warranty, which is understandable). Found that the coating at the edges also started to come off with the caulk, even tho I was very careful as I knew how 'delicate' the surface could be and it was not like porcelain. I also noticed some adhesion problems by the plughole. I called the company and they came out a week later. The workman said that as I had taken off the caulk myself that the damage was not covered. I said that there were no instructions about re caulking, and that if I had known to call them back out again for a re caulk I would have, or if there were instructions about DIY re caulk I would have followed them. He spoke to his boss and they agreed to repaint the areas at no charge just this once, but that next time there would be a charge. I thought this was fair and so agreed. Thank you for putting it right for me.

We have an old tub that had been refinished years prior by someone else. It had been peeling for awhile so before they could refinish it, they had to strip it first. This was all completed on the first day ( 4 hours). The second day was just clean up and that took 30 minutes. The process was very quick and we are very pleased with the results. We could not use our tub from when he arrived on the first day until 2 days later. On the second day, they caulked the edges so you need to wait until that dries before using the tub. We just waited until the next morning to be sure. The technician was very friendly and he kept things clean. He did bring a fan in to blow the fumes out the bathroom window, but I could still smell the chemicals downstairs in the first room. Also, the process does leave a light layer of chemical dust/particles in the tub surround that needs to be cleaned afterward.

Very well. We have used this company several times before, always with good results. The patch job in June was not as expected, however, so I called and asked the owner to come out to inspect the job and see what he thought. He discussed the newest fix-up method, using a fiberglass patch, which they would use when they came out. Within a day, I received an email from Emily in the office setting up an appointment for a re-do and a very generous offer to credit us for the initial patch, which we applied to their second visit. It is obvious that Miracle method has a great work ethic and really cares about its customers.

They made the appointment, came out and looked at the tub. They came back and did all the work. It was a two day process to get everything done. They set up an air venting system to keep the smell out of the house, and made sure that the carpets were covered so nothing got ruined.

Better than my expectations! Couldn't even tell when they were done where the chip had been. Eric really took his time and was able to get the color/sheen just right.

They were honest about the job. They told me it would not be a permanent fix, that it would last about fifteen years. Still the results look great. I had a good feeling abut having them in the house and they worked in a timely manner.

They are knowledgeable. They worked with my schedule. The job went very well. They worked quickly and were always punctual. I am very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

When the owner came out for an estimate, we asked about how this coating would work on old grout - the home and grout was 21 years old. He said there would be no problem. They would float new grout. We agreed to have them do the work in two bathrooms. The tub and tile in the guest bathroom and the shower basin and tile in the master bathroom. The original service was performed July 11, 2007. The original service was done in the time scheduled and was done to our satisfaction. It looked good. In September of 2007, we noticed chips in the coating. We called and they sent the original technician. He patched the spots in both rooms and gave us a jar of the coating to patch additional problems. A couple of months later, in November, we noticed that the grout in the lower rows in both bathrooms was cracking. Several tiles had cracks developing completely around the tiles. Also, while cleaning the shower basin, my thumb went through a bubble in the corner of the basin causing a large hole, about an inch in diameter. I called Miracle Method and spoke with Emily. She tried to convince me that cracks were normal. After some discussion, she agreed that the crack in the basin was not normal and she agreed to send a technician out. This technician was a different person. He said the original person had not done a good job. He said he would fix our cracks in both bathrooms. He patched some of the cracks with the Miracle Method coating. It looked fine when he left. To our surprise, we found that he had caulked over part of the cracks. Each week I would clean, some of the caulking would come off. We only cleaned with the Fantastic and Dobie sponges as recommended. In the Spring of 2008, the patchwork that was done in November 2007 was starting to crack and peel and the caulking was peeling off. It looked really bad. In May 2008, I called Miracle Method again. Emily told me she would have to pull our file and call back. Two days later, I called her back. She said she would still have to call me back. Leo called back the next day to schedule the appointment. The original technician returned. He said the second technician did a horrible job. He also admitted that he did a bad job on the original grout. He said he would fix the grout and repatch with the coating. He said in the future that we should just use the jar of coating that he gave us back in September. He said that the company was going to start charging us for these visits. The grout in the shower stall is off white and it is on top of the bright white coating. It looks very bad. It is beginning to crack still. We are very disappointed in the entire experience. We have had to take vacation 4 times, original install and 3 fix ups. And we are not happy and the company has not been pleasant to work with. We are sorry we chose this company and we will not ever recommend their service.

Emily Sayles was quickly responsive to my initial inquiry via the web site, providing me with estimates for the tub refinishing with ($825) and without ($425) the surround. I was able to schedule refinishing within about 7-10 days. Our responsibility was to remove the hardware from the tub (faucet, drain cover). The technician arrived punctually in the morning, taped off and began the process, which took several hours. He returned the next day briefly to complete it. The results were fantastic - the tub and surround look brand new. The process does have a very strong chemical-type odor, which was OK since we had not yet moved into the house. While the odor was mostly gone after the second day, I could detect it if I sniffed very close to the tub for several weeks. A small amount of pale dust was also produced by the process. The technician did a good job of cleaning, but we did have to wipe down the walls and countertop after he was done.

We were happy with the end result but we found the customer service to be problematic. They left a huge mess in the house and also dumped chemicals down our sinks. Their tape pulled off some of the paint around the tub.

I called the office and a gentleman came out within a week to give an estimate. He was great, he inspected everything I was concerned about very closely. I took some time to think about the work. The technician arrived on time, explained everything very clearly. I am very pleased with the work. I received a $50 discount. I would definitely call them again.

I spoke with Emily with Miracle Method, and she told me up front what the cost would be. Their representative, Bob, was out the next day. Bob told me exactly what he could do and what he could not do and was very up-front about everything. He was here about 90 minutes, left no mess, and did a great job. Today, my only concern is that one of the cracks has opened up, so I will be calling Bob to come out again. I think Miracle Method does a fine job, they are honest, and you know before a representative comes out you will be paying one of two prices depending upon the damage.

Overall, the quality was fairly good, however it was not as good as shown in their examples at their showroom. The chemicals they use are very strong - took at least a week for the smell to go away. There were several places on the shower and countertop and sink where they sprayed unevenly and it appeared the sealer put on afterward had dripped. Also, some of the grout was uneven and had a blue streak in it, which had to be painted over. I called about the problems and they sent another workman out. He was helpful in fixing all the errors except one. The bottom of the sink had an area that has a different texture and color than the rest of the area - guess it couldn't be fixed any better. I can live with it - but I will be disappointed every morning when I brush my teeth and have to look at that.

The staff at the Miracle Method office was friendly and thorough in explaining the process and any questions I had. The Miracle Method worker arrived in the scheduled time frame (even in a snowstorm) and was courteous and friendly. The first portion of the work was completed one morning and the worker returned the next morning as planned to complete the work. The bathtub looks brand new and the caulking job was excellent. The finish has a 5 year warranty. We hope that it lasts longer. Although we were warned that there would be an odor from the new finish, the smell (like nail polish remover) was stronger and lasted longer than I expected. I should have made arrangements to be out of the house for the full day to avoid the smell. I listed the price as a B because the price was significantly higher than some other companies however, we chose Miracle Method despite the higher price due to the good reviews on Angie's List and other online research.

Excellent service. Process went exactly as they had outlined and in the same time frame. Tub and walls look amazing. Service was friendly and professional from start to finish. Would highly recommend this company and refinishing option.

We had a wonderful experience with this company. Scheduling was easy and I got a lot of information on the telephone about the process. The technicians came when they were suppose to; they were very respectively of our home and time; they paid attention to detail and cleaned up after the job; and they educated us about the process and the after care. Just wonderful. The tub looks brand new!

It went very well. We had used them in California and were pleased with the work they did so we called them again. We're very happy with the result and the price was fair.

Previous owners had bathtub refinished which was peeling off. I went to the Miracle Method showroom and viewed some sample refinished tubs. I was very impressed so I had Leo come out and give me an estimate. It was easy to schedule a time that was convenient for me. The entire process involved 2 days. First day tub was stripped and refinished, also countertop was refinished ( about 6 hours). The second day non skid surface was put in bottom of tub and everything was cleaned up ( 1 hour). It was a very smelly process but was well worth it. My tub and countertop look brand new. Great job..

First impression: Emily was terrific over the phone when I initially contacted Miracle Method. She explained everything about the process of refinishing bathtubs to me in great detail. The work begins: Brandon arrived on time and performed the work himself. He was professional, courteous, neat, detail oriented and he cared about what he was doing. Brandon answered EVERY question I asked about what to expect and about the process itself. Prepare for fumes: Having experience working around the house, I was well prepared for the strong fumes of the primer and paint. Please understand the nature of the high-quality products this company uses to make your bathtub look new again. The fumes will only last a few days (similar to having your living room painted) and one look at the beautiful finish on your tub will make it all worthwhile. Finishing touches: When they finish polishing the tub, you'll think it's brand new -and I'm not kidding! I highly recommend them.

The work results were exceptional. We have shown neighbors (familiar with the house) and family the results and they were very impressed. Miracle Method reduced the amount of work, time and expense of replacing these items. I recently recommended this process to a person in Cincinnati and surprisingly found they have no service representatives in southern Ohio. We had this work performed prior to moving in and realized there would be some fumes and odor and managed exposure effectively. We did notice a minor issue that wasn't reported to the company; the bathtub fixtures appeared to have been reinstalled without all the hardware (we found a part of the faucet left on the vanity top and didn't realize what it went to until later).

Everything went well and I highly recommend them.

They rescheduled once due to a sick tech, but were on time the next time. The process exasperated my asthma, but once we sealed off the area and closed the doors to our bedroom I was all right. The quality of the work was good. I had to wipe off a few splatters, but they came right off.
