Description of Work: WE SIGNED A CONTINGENCY CONTRACT WITH MIDWEST TIMBEROOF ROOFING ON MARCH 23, 2004. A MEASURER WAS TO BE HERE, INFORMATION TRANSMITTED TO TEXAS. WE ENDED UP WITH AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE INSIDE OF OUR HOUSE IN ORDER TO GET OUT TO THE FLAT ROOF, AS NONE HAD LADDERS TO REACH TO THE 3RD FLOOR. NUMEROUS CALLS WERE MADE TO THE COMPANY WITH NO SATISFACTION. I CALLED THE COMPANY ON MONDAY, MAY 17, 2004, AND I ASKED FOR A PERSON IN CHARGE. GLORIA RESPONDED, AND I INFORMED HER THAT WE WANTED TO CANCEL. SHE ASKED ME THE NAME OF THE SALES PERSON. I TOLD HER HIS NAME. HE DIDN'T WANT US TO CANCEL, AND HE STATED THIS WAS SUBJECT TO A 25% FEE OF INSURANCE AGREEMENT. HE WAS COMING TO THE HOUSE WITH ROOFING SAMPLES. THE OFFICE MANAGER HAD TOLD HIM TO TELL IF WE PICKED THE SHINGLE COLOR. THEY'D HAVE THE CREW HERE THAT WEEK. UNREALISTIC, SINCE HE COULDN'T ANSWER SEVERAL OF MY QUESTIONS. HE SAID THERE WOULD BE NO BILL UNTIL THE JOB WAS FINISHED. I INFORMED HIM THAT ADD-ONS WOULD HAVE T

+ -1 moreWANTED ME TO JUST SIGN A CONTRACT SO HE COULD JUST DEAL WITH MY INSURANCE. WHEN I HAD SOME RESERVATIONS, HE PRESSURED ME TO SIGN WITHOUT GIVING ME ANY DETAILS, SAYING I WAS NO EXPERT, AND SEEMED UPSET THAT I WOULD BE ASKING FOR OTHER ESTIMATES. SEEMED VERY UNETHICAL.
Description of Work: CALLED ME ASKING TO INSPECT MY ROOF AFTER HAIL.
