Description of Work: Mid Ohio PreWire did the network wiring when my house was built. This year I needed to get a new telephone jack installed near my cable modem. I chose to go back Mid Ohio PreWire since they did a great job the first time around.

+ -1 moreSo far the service and installation was very professional. The home is now in drywall so the final wiring, hook up, and face plates need to be installed. This company has been around for years so I am confident that they will provide me with continued great service. Pricing is very comparable...but service to me and my family is most important.
Description of Work: Building a new home with Castlestone Homes. Mid Ohio was one of the companies that they had used in the past. I got estimates from a few other low voltage wiring companies. This company was very professional, prompt, and provided me recommendations based on my needs (I have special needs children so they are unique) and my budget. I would highly recommend them and will use them when I complete my finished basement.

+ -1 moreThe installation was excellent and the two technicians that came out to perform the install were very knowledgable and professional. I walked them around the house and gave them a description of what I wanted to accomplish, they asked some clarifying questions and even gave some suggestions before starting the work. They had to get into the attic and fish wire through a few walls in order to perform the whole house wiring. The entire install took about 5 hours. Afterwards they labeled all of the connections in our wiring closet so we knew which RJ45 jack went to which room/outlet and they cleaned everything up very nicely. This was my first time hiring a contractor for a job and if I ever have any more network, phone, or stereo equipment wiring that needs to be done I will definitely be calling Mid-Ohio Prewire again. All the staff that I interacted with during the process was excellent!
Description of Work: Installed cat-5e cable and five RJ45 network jacks throughout the house (first floor bedroom, 2 upstairs offices, entertainment room, and upstairs wiring closet) as well as correcting some phone wiring and running some TV cable to a couple rooms.
