To be honest, my wife and I had been putting off buying our first home because the challenge of finding a realtor seemed daunting. If I had known that we would eventually meet Mike to help us as our realtor, then I would have had no reason to worry at all. Mike came at the high recommendation of a coworker and he truly exceeded our expectations. Above all, Mike is an extremely honest and dedicated person. He truly worked around the clock to help us find our home, and was never pushy in the slightest. In fact, Mike notified us about the house we bought at about 9pm on a Thursday night. We immediately reviewed pictures online and emailed back to set up a viewing. By 10pm that night, Mike had set up the viewing for 5pm the next day (amazingly fast, right?). Mike is always checking emails/texts and responding right away. Moreover, later that same night, Mike reached out to urge us to consider moving our viewing up to 9am the next morning because he was concerned the house would go fast. This insight is THE reason we are in our house today. We saw the house at 9am that morning and made an offer. By 11am that same morning, the sellers had 10+ offers and cancelled all later viewings. Without Mike's round the clock dedication and experience with the housing market, we would have had our viewing cancelled and lost the house. We are so grateful to Mike. This was by far our best experience with buying a home. Mike Marshall exceeded our expectations. We really felt like he was on our side, and at no point was trying to pressure us into purchasing a home that didn't meet all of our needs just so that he could "close a deal." He was friendly, professional, responsive, and really knows his stuff. Mike never felt like a "salesman;" he was a very calm, competent, and practical person to work with as we took the big step of buying a home. We were quite wary to begin the home-buying process for our third time, after our previous experiences, but Mike earned our trust and we would recommend him to anyone. And we would absolutely enlist his services again ourselves, should we ever be in the market!

We got a chance to work with both Michael and Andrew at Buyer's Resource Realty Services. We had great experiences with both of them. They were extremely responsive to emails and phone calls alike. I had a lot of questions along the way and they were so patient with us. We considered making offers on two houses (went back and forth a little), but the minute I saw our house I knew that I needed to see it asap since things were flying off the market pretty quickly at the time we were looking. They made it work, we set up an appointment the very next morning before I had to be into work. We made an offer, another process we had lots of questions about, and are in love with our home. We've been living here since August (I'm clearly late on writing this review), and everything went so smoothly for us. They're professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Home hunting in Hilliard was very stressful due to the market conditions but I couldn't imagine a more helpful Realtor than Michael. Houses were selling mid-week within hours of being available for viewing. Michael always made time for us so we did not miss out on an opportunity to view a home and write an offer before it was too late. We looked for a few months and never felt rushed by Michael to make a purchase. He was very patient and always answered all of our questions. He could talk about home-buying all day without taking a breath. He either drinks a lot of coffee or really loves his job, or maybe a mix of both. One last good thing about Mike was his honesty. When we first met with him, he explained to us how crazy the Hilliard market was and even suggested we hold off on our home search for several months until things calm down and the market conditions were more favorable. This showed he really cared about his clients.

From the first meeting where we stayed late so he could talk us through every last question to the urgent emails, phone calls, and document signings that come with buying a house, he was great. This was our first time buying a house, and even though we had done quite a bit of research, we didn't know much about buying a house. Mike was very helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgable in this field. He was very responsive to emails, calls, and texts. He was very accommodating and flexible with our schedule. He even followed up with us several times after the closing was done to make sure everything was going well. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate agent.

Mike Marshall is an excellent Realtor. He always arrived before us at the many appointments we had to see homes and was always professional with us and with any other Realtor or potential seller that we encountered. We wrote 3 offers on other homes that we unsuccessful because of the crazy market frenzy. During each transaction, including the 4th and final where we bought, Mike had the perfect temperament, never too high or low and this helped us during the emotional process. Mike was present for our entire home inspection and provided us with the information promptly. He also reviewed all closing documents and we really had to do very little to get to the closing table! There are not enough words to describe Mike's service and professionalism. He is always available, always honest, always accurate and detailed and always nice! Mike helped me through the house selection and purchasing process. He helped me select houses that met my buying criteria and was very responsive to my requests. At our first appointment with Mike, we were walked through every step of the process. My husband and I walked out of the appointment excitedly talking to each other about how good we felt about finding Mike and how excited we were to start the process. As we didn't want to seriously start our house hunt for another month or so, Mike was very good about keeping in touch with us, but not overwhelming us with contact since we weren't in the middle of the process. About a week before our search was really going to start, Mike e-mailed us to touch base. I appreciated him reaching out to us. As we really got into things (beginning of January), Mike replied very quickly to all communication. The online portal was very helpful in sorting out the houses we hated, the houses we liked and the houses we loved. Mike was very flexible with times and dates and set us up with our first house viewing appointments. We saw about 3 houses the first night (I think), including the one we ended up buying. Mike walked us through every house with extreme detail. He showed us good parts of each house along with parts that we might have concerns about. With each concern he knew how long it might last until we had a problem, how easy/difficult it was to fix and more. He was able to point out items we didn't even think of, which was great as we had been worried since we were first time home buyers. We went out again to view more houses (I think 5 or 6) on a Saturday soon after our first viewing. We were able to intricately look at some houses, but if my husband and I knew we weren't at all interested, Mike had no problem with us turning around right away. Throughout the whole process, Mike never tried to push a house on us. He seemed more like a family friend than a realtor. He definitely had our best interest in mind. After we decided that we wanted to get serious about one of the houses, Mike communicated very quickly again to get all of the details worked out. He had fantastic recommendations for lenders, home inspectors and more. Once again, this was especially helpful since neither of us is originally from Columbus and we were first time home buyers. Mike was able to communicate very well with us and the selling agent. If we needed to be a little harsh, he would do that for us, but in a tactful way. Overall, both my husband and I are extremely, 100% over the top satisfied with Mike and Buyer's Resource Realty. We will recommend him to anyone we know searching for a home, and if/when we sell and/or buy again, we are confident we will be going back to Buyer's Resource. Everything went fantastic. I wasn't in a big rush to find a home. I just wanted to find the perfect one when it became available. After 5 months, Mike helped me purchase my first home and I am very happy with the result. I highly recommend Mike, and Buyers Resource.

He helped us with search tools, walked us through the process, helped us scrutinize homes we looked at, thoroughly weighing the pros and cons. He gave us a heads up on possible expenses as we went along. He was pretty much spot on with his recommendations and observations. He had the paperwork drawn up for us to submit an offer, helped us to find an inspector and gave us a binder and checklist of everything to do at different points in the process. He has been doing this for a long time, so his knowledge during the process made us feel secure, as it was our first time buying. He corresponded with the lender, the seller, title agency etc and helped us set up closing, was present during closing and even got our key for us after the fact. He certainly went out of his way to make this a smooth process for us and we are thankful for his insight and believe we got the perfect house for our budget and needs!
