The employee, Chris called me Friday evening to firm up the appointment. He called again on Saturday morning giving me an arrival time, which he kept. The work regarding the faucet was extensive as there was no access panel behind the shower. Chris and his helper had to put in an access panel and then replace the entire faucet and some of the plumbing. Chris gave me an estimate of 1-2 hours and the work was completed within that timeframe. Christ was very attentive to details and keeping me informed of the progress. Upon completion, he suggested I try the faucet to get used to it prior to his leaving. The work done was excellent and very professional. I will recommend McDermott Plumbing to any family or friends who need a plumbing company which goes beyond the basics to help the customer in any way they can!

McDermott Plumbing was able to respond to a service call I made on November 8, 2013 and appeared at my house to start the work at 2:30 PM. I really appreciated how responsive they were. And the quality of their work met 100% of my expectation. It has been two days since they completed the work and the drain is working great. In addition, I really appreciated the professionalism of Mike and I will not be looking for another plumbing company for quite awhile.

Called Twice. Company did not return calls I picked this provider based on his rave reviews. I left a detailed message of my plumbing issues, BUT I never received a call back. I did attempt to call him again with the same result.

I called on a weekend and Chris got back to me Sunday evening to schedule an appointment. He came to my house Monday afternoon and had the repair complete before 6 p.m. He worked diligently to obtain parts which he thought would be needed for the job. He was knowledgeable and very personable. He made sure the unit was working properly before he left.

Called them first thing in the morning and they were able to come out within a few hours. Michael was very friendly and fixed the problem in about an hour. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber and would use the again in the future.

Mike investigated the source of the leak. He provided a quote before the work was started. He completed the work to my satisfaction, In a timely manner and for the price that was quoted. Excellent service!

Michael, the owner is great. He is a good guy, and I have used him for several projects.

The person who came was very professional and clean (wore shoe covers, covered any surfaces that might get water drops on them, etc.). The repair was much faster than the 2 hours we'd gotten the Angie's Deal for, so when it didn't quite work, he came back again without any issues and tried something else that did work. We were highly impressed with their professionalism.

A fiber drink had hardened in the drain and he had to drill it out. He did a good job.

Michael arrived promptly, inspected the problem, explained the cause & what it would take to fix. He did a fantastic job in a timely manner. Will always call McDermott Plumbing for all our plumbing needs.

It went wonderfully. He was prompt, courteous, and helpful. He tried to save money the fool thing wouldn't leak right then, and succeeded in helping me out when he took it apart and the problem was patently obvious. Very good service from a locally owned small business. I now have a plumber. :-)

This was a Deal that was purchased on Angie's List. Also, we had to pay a lot more than what we actually spent on the deal.

It went very well. They are reasonably priced and the job is on time when they said they would.

Michael came over (on-time) and gave me a lot of advice regarding the kitchen sink drainage problem I was having. After a lengthy discussion, he left me with all the information I needed to make the decision to DIY or to hire him to come back and do it. Since I'll have to cut into my main plumbing drain stack, I'm going to go ahead and hire Michael to do the job for me. Will update when complete.

Michael arrived a little later than the agreed upon time but his work was very effective. He used the hose to fill the gutter drain to make sure it needed to be snaked before he proceeded with that service. He gave me a discount on the entire price of the 2 services. He quickly completed work on the bathroom drain and started on the gutter drain. While snaking the gutter drain part of the plastic pipe that enters the ground from the gutter downspout broke. He went and got a new pipe and fitting that was better quality than the original pipe, installed it, and did not charge me any extra for the materials or the time needed to repair it. That is truly going above and beyond expectations. I will certainly be calling McDermott Plumbing any time I need service.

There has not been any further leaks. My only issue may be the cost of the parts. I have seen similar connector parts at Menards for $5 each and he charged an extra $118 for 3 but I can't say they were the same. Overall I was very happy with their work. I don't think the companies make much money on the Big Deals. Probably most of that goes to Angies. So I don't mind a reasonable extra charge if the work is done correctly.

They did a very good job. They were a few hours late but did come and fix it. They had to buy the part and put it in and that was an extra $100. I cut a hole in the wall and found the leak. It was old pipe and they could not replace it and they made a Y pipe that had some sort of fasteners that sealed it so it does not leak anymore. I then fixed the drywall afterwards. Overall they did a good job.

Showed up on time. Was professional and courteous. Performed the job well, but left one aspect incomplete. The owner came out to remedy that issue and went above and beyond to address not only that, but also respond to any other plumbing related questions or issues I wanted to ask. He spent some additional time assessing and educating me about two other plumbing concerns I had. He really did not need to spend that extra time, but I could tell he was making a good-will effort due to having to come back to finish the job. I appreciated that very much.

I called and set an appointment with this company. They never showed up or called back.

We have heard nothing within 6 weeks. We have not been able to reach him since we purchased the big deal. His voice mail notifies you that if you indicate that you have a plumbing emergency that he will respond within an hour. We did, and have not heard from him yet.

Great work and fast response time! I will continue to use them!

I purchased a coupon on Angie's list to do a toilet repair. The plumber arrived and said that the repair was not covered by the Angie's List coupon even though it clearly was. I paid $95 for the coupon and $120 for him to do the repair. It took him 20 minutes plus an $8 part. I would have been much, much better off just using my local plumber with no coupon.
