McCandlish Interiors is a full service interior design company that was founded by Eileen McCandlish in 1999 when she moved to Columbus, Ohio. The business was developed by "word of mouth" advertising while she maintained her business in the Princeton, New Jersey area. The client that chooses to work with Eileen may do so by consultation only or with consultation and project management. Eileen will order the products, manage the deliveries, be on-site to manage installations and see to it that the project runs smoothly while the client may go about their lives. Eileen creates beautiful spaces that reflect who you are. It's your dream and her job to make that dream a reality. Eileen spends a lot of time with her clients to really get to know them before the design process begins. Through careful listening, she learns their likes and dislikes, their dreams and desires, and how they want their space to look. Then she continues to work closely with her clients, making them an interactive part of the process while guiding them to ensure that they remain on task, on budget, and on time. Eileen’s mission is to give her clientele the home of their dreams! Her focus is to provide you with the most suitable products for your home. A solid understanding of materials helps to make informed decisions when choosing product for a specific project. Years of education and experience gives her a comprehensive knowledge of space planning, layout, scale, material and fabric, and how each pertains to design and construction. Practical experience enables her to give her clientele the knowledge and expertise that one looks for and deserves in a design professional.

I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING I WOULD WANT TO DO MYSELF. BUT SHE HAS SUCH GOOD IDEAS. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE THINGS SHE HAS CHOSEN. I ALSO LIKE THE FACT SHE GIVES CHOICES WHEN OTHER DESIGNERS DON'T.
Description of Work: SHE HAS DESIGNED THREE ROOMS AND IS STILL WORKING WITH US ON ACCESSORIES.
