The price is comparable. They are very nice, thorough, work with you. I can not say enough nice about them, no complaints whatsoever.

It went well. Carpets dried fairly quickly. With some cleaners the carpet was wet for days but not with Master Clean. I have had them the last several times I needed my carpets cleaned.

They did an excellent job. Had several spots they got out no problem. And they were reasonable.

OK Quick, but acted as if didn't want to be there. Wanted to perform the minimum

The last time we used them was probably six months ago.

They do excellent work. The scheduling is perfect they give you a window of two hours and then they call you thirty minutes before they come.

The carpet looked clean but smelled very musty immediately after the cleaning. Almost 4 months later, the smell is still sticking around.

Two gentlemen came and refused to put down tarps on floor, refused to take off their shoes and were very rude to me. I sent them away and asked them to leave. The owner then called me and apologized to me. He sent two other guys out who did a good job.

I can usually get in on a regular basis. They're good about suctioning as much water out of the carpets as possible so they do dry faster. He charged the walk-in closet and I thought that was excessive but I think that's true with almost all carpet cleaners.

They were awesome. Their technician Ryan did an outstanding job explaining carpet care to us. We have been using them for 20 years now and they always do a great job. Always on time, professional, courteous, the whole nine yards. We will continue to use them with confidence.

Great. They were so fast in scheduling and coming out.

Master Clean called at 8am to tell us they would arrive at 830 or 900. Charles arrived at 845. He did a walk through of the house and explained all of the services. He provided me with a price for the carpet cleaning, then did the duct cleaning estimate. He then went out to the truck to mix the cleaning solution. He came back in to start the work and also provided me with the date and time that I wanted for the duct cleaning, The work was completed efficiently and thoroughly. Charles is a great service technician. Very professional.

MC confirmed arrival first thing in the morning. I had to adjust my time based on a showing for the home (on the market). They made the change and accommodated our request. The crew did a very nice job on 15 year old carpets and made a significant improvement! They were efficient, polite, hard working and conscientious. Really nice job.

Tom showed up on time and after introducing himself to me, wasted no time in getting to work. he did a thorough job on some challenging areas. very polite and very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to give him an outstanding referral. I will ask for him the next time I have this done.

12/12/2015 UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW - after leaving a scathing but accurate review of my customer experience with MasterClean in November (below), I received a personal call from Don Kessler, MasterClean's owner. Don made the situation right - he sent a different crew to our home to redo the work, apologized repeatedly, admitted to where they'd fallen short, accepted responsibility, and said they were using my experience as a "teachable opportunity" within the company, etc. Don then called back on 2 separate occasions after his crews did work to confirm my satisfaction. I am now fully satisfied with the work they did, and both pleased and impressed with the way Don and his team "recovered" from a bad experience. This is frankly what I expected from MasterClean in the first place. I'd like to mention several of his folks who have been in my home since Don and I first spoke: Van has been absolutely fantastic, and has helped on multiple of their services. Corey and Tyler were very professional and did a great job on the air ducts. Both are very professional and nice guys. I cannot remember the name of the man who came with Van to clean the tile after Don and I spoke. Both he and Van were also very professional and nice guys. They were the first folks back in my home after the previous mess, and absolutely saved MasterClean's reputation with me. I give MasterClean an "A" for everything they've done since Don and I spoke, and gave them an "F" for my previous experience. So I'm revising my grade to a "C" (the average of an A and an F), but want to emphasize that I believe the "A" experience is far more typical of MasterClean's normal service than the snafu we had back in November. 11/10/2015 - This scathing review won't come as a surprise to Jim Heise, MasterClean's salesperson. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with this customer experience. This cannot possibly be how a multi-year Angie's List Super Service Award winner conducts business, or how the owner has built this business. I would be VERY HAPPY to speak with Don Kessler, MasterClean's owner. I called your office multiple times this morning trying to resolve this, even asking for you. If you care, call me. If you don't care, so be it. Your people have my number. Jim came to my home to bid a large job - carpet cleaning, tile grout cleaning and sealing, and air duct cleaning. It's a big house, so the original bid was >$1,300. We absolutely discussed sealing the grout being part of the job, and Jim offered to include it for $20. Then after discussing the grout cleaning we negotiated a discounted total price for this being 3 separate services and big areas. We agreed on $1,100, and Jim wrote up the paperwork. I even said "it needs to say grout sealing" and he said "don't worry, we'll take care of it". This morning their crew showed up - on time (actually early), friendly, professional - just what I expect. Rob reviewed what they were to do, and I said "and seal the grout, too". He said, "no, that's not on here". I said "but it's included; Jim committed that". He said "for this price, that would be the deal of the century" or something to that effect. It was apparent he didn't want to do grout sealing for the price committed. He said "grout sealing is usually an extra $0.25/square foot". I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, but it frankly felt a little like an upsell. I said "Have Jim call me, or I'll call him. I know what we agreed to. No problem. We'll work it out." Given how nice Jim was during the sales process, I had every confidence this was a miscommunication between their office and crew, and we'd work it out. While they cleaned the carpets, I made multiple calls to their office, and asked that Jim call me. He did, and surprisingly took a very strong stance - no, we didn't agree to that, I'm absolutely sure I didn't agree to grout sealing at the discounted price. I would never have agreed to that. My owner would never let me do it for that. I absolutely positively told you it wasn't included at the discounted price. But we'll do it for an extra $185... Again, it felt like an upsell (some would say "bait and switch"). I was very surprised. He was very nice during the sales process, and very un-customer friendly about what might have been a miscommunication between customer and salesperson. (I, of course, don't think it was a miscommunication; we were very clear; I was very clear; he absolutely, positively never said "I can't seal the grout for that price". I never would have signed up to pay $1,100 for cleaning and not seal the grout. That would be dumb. Had I understood, I would never have agreed to his proposal.) Jim stonewalled, repeatedly, so I said "Ok, I'll pay your crew for the carpet cleaning, which they've already done. Cancel the rest." He said "OK, we can absolutely do that." Nothing further. No attempt to save the business, or make things right for the customer. Nothing. Terrible customer experience. Incredibly disappointing for an Angie's List Super Service company. Exasperating. Infuriating. Very frustrating. Unacceptable. I was willing to chalk this up to a miscommunication, although I don't think we miscommunicated. I would have "split the difference", or anything reasonable had there been any sort of customer-centric attempt to make this right. But there was no such attempt. But I don't tolerate dishonesty, and I won't tolerate vendors who don't do what they say they will, and then take a strong anti-customer stance when called out about it. My response is "Get out. I'll see you on Angie's List..." :-(

I think they have a deal for so many rooms. It's usually around a hundred dollars. They are the only ones we call. We went through several carpet different cleaners. Once we found them, we stuck with them. We would absolutely use them.

Cats were locked in the basement and Tom and Tyler went to work cleaning 12 carpeted areas, including staircases. They raised or moved all furniture as necessary and took extreme care not to damage anything. They also put down a Teflon stain resistant coating on all cleaned areas. Tom and Tyler were very professional and pleasant. We were considering replacing all of the carpet in the house, but it looks so good since it?s been cleaned?well, I guess that we will wait a while longer. We?re very pleased. Thank you Tom and Tyler and MASTER CLEAN.

We scheduled Master Clean and they were available to clean our carpets the same week. Tom R. and Jaylen arrived early, assessed the carpets, and listened to what we wanted done. They were extremely thorough in cleaning 9 areas and also re-cleaned some areas that needed more attention. I can't say enough about the wonderful job they did! They were extremely professional and knowledgeable in what they were doing, and worked together as a great team! I will use Master Clean again, and highly recommend them!! Great job Tom R. and Jaylen!! Our carpets look like new again!!

Have used MasterClean many times for carpet cleaning because they are always professional and most importantly, they get the carpets super clean! Today was my first time using them to clean my minivan and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. They cleaned 4 captains chairs, a third row seat, all the carpet and the floor mats. The car has been vacuumed regularly but hadn't been professionally cleaned for, oh, I don't know, 7 or 8 years. Considering the car is 9 years old, has been thru teenagers and dogs and has some wear, it still looks practically new after they cleaned it today. They were even able to mostly remove a spot that the other cleaners did not get out from all those years ago. A little pricey for the car, but they completed the work at the same time as they did the carpet cleaning so it was convenient. And it looks so good, I would most definitely recommend their services.

Master Clean did an excellent job in getting the condo carpet cleaned, removing the pet stains, and deodorizing the carpet. Again at our prior residence, Master Clean did an excellent job in getting the carpet back to excellent condition with the soiled areas completely gone. The cost was reasonable and the results were excellent! I definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future!

They booked it very promptly. Tom and Will and did good job. They ask me if it all looked good and if not they would go over it again. There were a few spots that they did go over a second time. They cleaned up after themselves, if anything got on the woodwork or other flooring.

The property they cleaned is a rental property. The tenants had just moved out, leaving the carpet very dirty with spots and smells. We were not there when they came in to clean, so we didn't get to meet the guys that cleaned the carpet. When we came in to see the carpet after they were done, the carpet was so clean, with the spots and smells gone.

We have two dogs and have used Master Clean for all of our carpet cleaning for the past couple of years. The carpets are always cleaned very well. And continue to look clean even after the carpet is dried. The guys that do the work are very friendly - special shout out to Tom and Malik! Thanks for always doing a great job at a reasonable price!!
