Description of Work: I used them last year for some lawn work, and this year he gave me an estimate to put down some mulch and sod, clean up, plant trees and plants.

+ -1 morePoor communication from company. I had to call often to see when they would be out to work. Work not completed in regards to schedule promised. Work not completed properly...I have had to go back and dig up the mulch to properly remove the sod that was supposed to be pulled up before mulch went down. Company rented a sod cutter to save labor. Didn't bother to call the 800 hotline to have utilities marked before using the sod cutter, didn't tell me when they cut the cable (it got pulled up on TOP of the grass in 3 different places in the lawn!). Some lawn areas were over-sprayed, so that the grass is dead where it is supposed to be growing. Areas around fence were supposed to be 3' wide, only 2.5' wide on one side. Questionable work ethics. Never provided a receipt or copy of the contract. It's doubtful the company has paid appropriate tax on the work and services provided. Will take them to Small Claims Court. Phone is now disconnected.
Description of Work: Grass inside fence and around perimeter of house and deck sprayed with RoundUp and removed, and those areas mulched. Was also to install a paver walkway from driveway to gate in fence on one side of house, and to do an apron of pavers on both sides of the gate on the other side of the house. I canceled the pavers job because the mulch job being done was getting executed poorly, and I didn't trust the company to do a good job on the pavers. I had paid in full for the mulch job, which did get completed (although poorly), and paid half down for the paver job. The company will not return my down payment on the paver job ($800), nor will they give me a copy of the contract(s). They never returned to clean up the mess from digging up areas on the outside of the fence that was left in my neighbors' yards after promising several times to do so. Beware of Mike's poor work quality and lack of ethics, or any side work he SAYS he'll do.
