Description of Work: We have used Logan Services several times over the past 15 years. And as before they completed the installation when they scheduled it and made sure everything was working well before cleaning up and leaving everything in order.

Description of Work: DEREC,LOGANS COMFORT SPECIALIST WAS WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HELPED US TO CHOSE THE BEST OPTIONS AND COST FOR US. THEIR INSTALLERS DID A GREAT JOB AND INSTALLED AHEAD OF PLANNED TIME. ALSO THEIR FINANCING WAS GREAT.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOGAN SERVICES.

Description of Work: Installed ductless Mitsubishi air conditioning unit. Derek Temke (the sales rep) and the installer were both outstanding. I had already received an estimate from Care Heating and Cooling and had scheduled a 3rd company for another estimate; however, I was extremely impressed with Logan Services and cancelled the appointment for the 3rd estimate. Care Heating and Cooling told me the unit would have to be installed in the FRONT of my house, the wiring would need to run up from the area where the garage connects to the house, then run thru the brick into the attic, and across the attic to the bedroom. A pump would need to be installed to the drain to remove the water generated when the unit was being used. Logan Services recommended installing the outside unit directly beneath the bedroom window (which was at the back of the house where I had suggested to the Care Representative for placement and was told that it wouldn't work) and running the wiring and drainage straight up the wall directly into the bedroom without the need to run any thing thru the attic and, therefore had NO need to install a pump for drainage. The total price for Logan Services was $3,500 which included everything. The estimate from Care Heating and Cooling was $4,285 for the unit and installation. They informed me that I would have to hire my own electrician (as they did not do the electrical part of the installation) which I'm sure would have been at least $500 additional cost. |The estimate from Care Heating and Cooling was also for a Lennox unit which they told me was cheaper than a Mitsubishi unit. I would highly recommend Logan Services and intend to purchase a service plan from them for my furnace and air conditioning.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace and air conditioner. Did not properly check for gas leaks, which occurred. I found leaks and fixed.

Description of Work: They did a furnace and A/C inspection, cleaned the blower wheel still full of plaster dust from construction by previous owner. They were quick, thorough, and very clean. We set up an annual contract with them. The price seemed a bit high, but it included $180 of parts. (A previous vendor told us the blower was in desperate need of servicing, which was obvious after it was brought to our attention).

Description of Work: Called Logan Heating & Cooling; have used their service many times in the past; as always they arrived in a timely manner, considering it was in the evening, after normal business hours, so I was charged for the emergency service at my rental home. Arrived as scheduled; completed the service very satisfactory, and payment was a breeze with the charge card and emailed me the receipt. Fast; and reliable best describe Logan.

Description of Work: I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the service I received from Logan. Dan was my salesman, and he was great. He was friendly, honest, and helpful. He coached me through the process, including dealing with the gas company. And our installers were the best, Willie and Rick. They were professional, courteous, and did fantastic work. They stepped in and saved the day, literally, when there were a couple problems with the gas company. All 3 of the guys handled all the bumps in the road wonderfully and I couldn't be happier. Logan made replacing an entire HVAC system about as enjoyable as possible! |

Description of Work: EVERYBODY FROM THE SALES STAFF TO THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY INFORMATIVE AND ON TIME FOR SET APPTS. THEY DID THE JOB QUICKLY AND CORRECTLY. I AM CURRENTLY WAITING FOR AN INSPECTION FROM THE CITY AND WILL UPDATE REVIEW AFTER INSPECTION.

Description of Work: My experience with Logan Services was outstanding. I was seeking to replace both my furnace and air conditioner in a condo unit. The salesperson was extremely patient, answered my numerous questions, was personable and informative but not pushy. He respected my home and my financial concerns. He sought to get me the best possible deal with a Trane system, energy rebates and other items, and handled all of the installation arrangements courteously. The installers were polite, efficient, clean and completed the work competently, on time and as promised. The city inspector commented on the excellent work inside and outside with both units. Although it was an agonizing decision to invest that much money and finally pull the trigger on making this home improvement, I couldn't be happier with the result. Looking forward to the hot summer and using my new AC - last two summers have been touch and go with the old one. Highly recommend this company and Trane for residential HVAC. This will also be an asset when I sell.

Description of Work: They replaced the 30 yrs old furnace and A/C. They were very professional and on time. I would definitely will be calling them for future service.

Description of Work: They installed a new Trane furnace, air conditioner, inside coil, and Clean Effects air filter. Derec came out and helped us decide what we needed, no pressure sales pitches or anything like that, just an evaluation of what we had and what we needed in a pleasant manner. Jeff and crew came out on time and were done ahead of time, all very professional and informative about how to manage the air circulation throughout the seasonal changes with our ductwork. They cleaned up after themselves, noticed a hole in the flue and replaced that piece of pipe. They cut off the old mounts for the unit outside and installed the new one on a nice slab that makes for a much quieter unit while running. The new furnace and blower is quite a nice upgrade from the old unit, quiet and more air flow, we feel ready for any weather now. We fully recommend, it just couldn't have been a better experience and will be using them for any future problems and maintenance without hesitation.

Description of Work: Our furnace would run and run and would not shut off once the desired temperature was reached. The relay switch was getting stuck. Josh, the tech who came out, was very knowledgable and explained everything to us. We initally did not want to replace the switch for it was going to cost around $200. He said we could wait it out and see if it does it again, but most likely it would only work normal for 2 weeks. He was dead on. Within 2 weeks it was sticking all the time so we called Logan Services back up to get the part ordered. The only negative thing about the experience is the length it took to get the part in. It took about 2 weeks. Could have been due to the winter storm so I dont want to give a bad rating for that due to unforseen circumstances with weather and holidays.

Description of Work: Hello everyone, I had a great experience with Logan technically.( I in general don't like sales people)Amanda & Bob at the Vets memorial show were very informative about product,so I used Angie's list ok.. no problem. I gave a B for the price because of the salesman-- meaning get it done by 02/28/13... or the price goes up .that the only thing i didn't like Now as for the EXPERIENCE WITH INSTALLERS A++++ SO FAR FURNACE and A/C UNIT A +they did a great job on installing TRANE furnace & ac unit. THE installers were very polite & professional and cleaned up after they were done.

Description of Work: Logan replaced our 25 year old furnace and a/c and did a tune-up on our second newer furnace. They are one of the best contractors I have hired. The customer service was responsive and friendly. The installers were friendly and respected our property. They promptly addressed one minor issue following the installation. Nearly every other contractor I have hired has broken or damaged something else in our home during their work creating a new problem to deal with. This did not occur with Logan. I was extremely pleased. They also use trane products which are highly rated.
