Levi's 4 Floors

Everything went well. They had to come back later to replace several boards which had imperfections but that went well also.

It was a beautiful installation. We had one little tiny problem with a couple places but they came out immediately and took care of it. We're more than happy with the installation, they have excellent workmanship. Their salespeople is very well informed, I knew what I wanted and they pointed me in the right direction. It was a difficult pattern and called that it takes a little more time to lay it. They did it perfectly.

This was the 4th room that we had new carpet installed by Levi 4 Floors within the past year. Each time they have done a very good job and the price was very reasonable.

They did a superb job. They do not make commission so the salesperson was very professional. We paid the exact amount of the estimate. We were very impressed with the workman who did the work in two days while never disturbing us.

From the moment the representative arrived he did not seem to be interested in having his company do the job and thus did not provide an estimate. The job required tile to be removed and new installation of vinyl or tile. The representative kept trying to tell the owners what flooring was under the tile which was incorrect. He acted as if the homeowner was unaware of what type of flooring was under the tile despite being told they had been there before the tile had been installed. He also kept trying to tear up parts of the floor that would have created problems for the owner in the meantime before the floor work was to be done. He insisted that the floor underneath would need to be tested for asbestos and that there was nothing he could do. No other company behaved in this manner nor indicated such. He was not friendly it professional and we would not be likely to ever call Levi's for anything in the future.

Levi's 4 Floors did a terrific job! No surprise, as they have done excellent work for us before. We took the precaution of asking friends about their experience having flooring installed. They told some horror stories, and the consensus was that Levi's was the only flooring company that could be trusted. We're really happy with the new ivc moduleo olympia stone vinyl tile in our kitchen. Comfortable to stand on, easy to clean and doesn't show the dirt. What's not to like? Levi4Floors did a great job with the sale & installation. Salesman Mark Goodell (Blacklick store) went out of his way to make our experience a good one!

We actually did use Levi's 4 Floors again. We needed to get something in a timely fashion to show a condominium that we owned for sale. They did it very promptly on a weekend to make sure it was done as we need it. Their installation was very good. All was excellent.

The first issue I had with my experience with Levi?s 4 Floors was the arrangement of the installation. When the carpet was originally ordered the salesman told me that the fastest way to get it installed was to be put on the will call list instead of scheduling an installation date, which would have been approx. 6-8 weeks after ordering. I agreed to be placed on the will call list and was told that I would be notified when the carpet actually arrived and I was placed on the list. Understandably you cannot be placed on the will call list until the carpet is received by the warehouse. I was also told that once on the will call list I would be called the morning of installation for an afternoon installation or the night before for the next morning installation. I agreed to these terms. Unfortunately what happened was the carpet installers showed up at my home one morning when no one was home. I had never been notified that the carpet had been received by the warehouse, nor had I been called the previous night to let me know they would be coming that morning. When I discussed this issue with the salesman he informed me that the reason they did not call the night before was because this was not a will call appointment, this was my scheduled appointment which he ?must have forgotten to tell me about.? So after multiple frantic calls while I was at work we were able to arrange for someone to be home and move the required items so that the installers could complete the job. The next issue was that when I returned home the day of installation, I was very disappointed in the quality of the installation and the damage they had done to my home in the process. The seam between the hallway carpet and the bedroom carpet was very crooked. At some points it extended beyond the door 1 inch and at other points the seam was not visible when the door was closed. They also put wide superficial scratches on the walls from the carpet rolls scuffing the wall and two deep gashes in a door in two different doors. The doors are painted white wood and were scratched down to the wood. My husband who was at home at the time of installation mentioned the crooked seam to the installers and the response he got was ?Oh, I guess I just didn?t even think about that.? When I discussed my concerns with the salesman he told me that they would be able to stretch the hallway carpet to meet the bedroom carpet so that the seam would be straight and that they would be in contact to arrange the correction. At that time he also told me that it would not be advisable to correct the crooked seam with a patch job because it was such a high traffic area and the seam would show wear faster. He also said they would be sending a handyman to come see what could be done about the doors. I already had painters coming to fix the walls, thank goodness they didn?t come before the carpet was installed, as was originally planned. I was then contacted by the customer service department at Levi?s 4 Floors, she instructed me that the installers and the handyman would both be contacting me. The handyman called within a couple days and we arranged a time for him to come and look at the doors. He told us that the correct way to fix the door would be to sand the door, fill the scratch and repaint it but that they would not pay for him to do a repair that extensive. He said they only thing he would be able to do was put white paint in the scratch. He then came back a second time to do exactly that. Unfortunately the result didn?t look much better than the original problem. It looked like mismatched (color and finish) paint in a scratch. In my opinion it was not significantly less noticeable than the original problem. He did come back a third time with a slightly closer matched paint but again it was frustrating for him to tell me how it should be fixed only to do a subpar job because that is what he was approved to do. The original carpet installers never contacted me to arrange a time to fix the seam and eventually after 3 weeks the customer service lady arranged for a different set of installers to come out to address the issue. When the second set of installers arrived they told my husband that the only way to correct the crooked seam without causing more problems was to patch the seam with a small piece of the carpet that was removed from the bedroom. He told us that this was not the ideal situation but that it was the only way to correct the problem because of the way the original installers made the seam. He told us that the seam of the original carpet was cut crooked and that instead of correcting the problem when the new carpet was originally installed, which would have required the bedroom carpet to extend past the bedroom door approximately one inch, the installers chose to keep the original crooked seam. It is frustrating to me that this issue was not addressed when the carpet was initially installed. If they had discussed the issue with us when the installation was in process, of course I would have chosen to have the bedroom carpet extend just slightly into the hallway instead of leaving a crooked seam. Unfortunately that was not the case and we were left with only a less than ideal option to fix the crooked seam. I eventually spoke to Mr. Art Levi himself who was very defensive about the issues above. His only comment was that the reason the crooked seam was there in the first place was because that is how the original carpet had been cut. He did not acknowledge that the only option left to correct the crooked seam was subpar because of the original installation mistake. He was not apologetic nor was he respectful of our time for the almost 4 weeks of phone calls and four different workday appointments that were made to attempt to correct their mistakes. He had no explanation or apology about the gross miscommunication that happened with the original installation. He did offer to come and look at the doors but by this time I am fairly certain they are not going to correctly fix their mistake and my husband and I don?t have time to take off work again for another appointment with little result. There was no compensation for any of the above made to the bill. I was told that this is because they address their mistakes and correct them, which unfortunately they did not do well. The whole process was a very time consuming and frustrating experience. I would expect an owner of a professional company to be more respectful of a customer?s time and take more pride in their work.

They were in and out in about an hour. We will be using them again.

Outstanding punctuality and professionalism of the estimator and installers. However, did not anticipate the height of the carpet with respect to the clearance of the doors, hence ended having to cut a door on the spot and wanted to charge us extra. This could have been prevented through a better project planning.

They gave me a price. I went somewhere else to purchase it.

I called back them 10 days later and the provider said that they didn't have the same matching floor.

The store sales staff was extremely helpful but not overbearing or pushy. They let us take samples home. The sales rep was also very nice when he came to measure and give us the price. The cost was very reasonable. The installers were very professional. They took great care in moving all the furniture out and putting it back when they were done. When they left everything was cleaned up. We were very pleased with the sales stsff and the installers. We will use them for sure for our next project..

Pro: The workers who came to the house were on time and went straight to work. When I say work, I mean it! They worked straight thru the day without any breaks that I saw. They finished a day ahead of schedule. Con: There was an issue with a large gap in flooring on one side of the island in our kitchen. I had told the worker I was NOT going to replace the trim on the cabinets like I was replacing the trim in the rest of the house. He nodded and smiled. Unfortunately, the workers did not speak English. I called Levi's to put an order in so the worker could correct the gap issue around my island cabinets and the worker came out and just said "No, you get quarter round". This was the only phrase he was able to speak. My husband tried to tell him, simply, we want the flooring to come up to the cabinets. No gap. The worker again told us "No, you get quarter round". He left. This gap is still there. The store never followed up. I initially liked the work, but will not use them again because what if there was bigger issues than a gap? I could not talk to or communicate with the workers. I will not rehire for the replacement of the rest of the flooring in my house.

The carpet that I bought from them three years ago was still in stock.

It was excellent. I had a problem that I hadn't thought about that I was going to do the living room after I had this other part done so they came back and helped me make sure that the additional piece they had would fit in in my living room and would match so they went above and beyond to make sure that the color matched and they got it from the same roll. We're really happy with it. I thought it was a good price. I really didn't shop as much as I probably should have but they had what I wanted and I thought at that point I was tired of shopping. They're very good. I've been really happy with the installation. It's been down for a year now. It's perfect and no problems with it. They're coming back.

I’d give them an A for the laminate installation and a B for the actual technicians that did the installation on the carpet. I’d also give their professionalism an A for the laminate and a B for the carpet. After they did the vacuuming of the carpet, I wanted to do a more thorough vacuuming myself to clean up the debris (such as nails), but the foreman was irritated and not interested in helping or answering my questions. It just seemed like he was more interested in getting in and out quickly than giving me a good experience as a customer.

Very good experience. We purchased the Stainmaster carpet when it was on sale. The installers were excellent. They moved furniture, swept and cleaned up staples on the subfloor, cut/installed the carpet and padding, then even brought their own vacuum to clean up the extra carpet fibers. The installers were very conscientious and detailed in their work. They checked with us often about various aspects of the installation. We are very pleased with the whole experience.

I have a feeling that a big box home improvement store would have been a little cheaper, but I was really concerned about the installation and it is guaranteed for life. I paid a little more I think but hopefully it is worth it. I was just really concerned about installation and the other company didn’t have great reviews on that. The people that installed it were great. It is beautiful. There are a lot of salesman people there and I just worked with one and she was friendly, helpful and efficient and all those sort of things and that was good. When we built our house 14 years ago they installed it so I had a little history there too and I really researched it and went to a lot of different places so I did a lot of home work and I think the installation was a big factor. I feel their prices were high.

They did a good job and I have no complains.

The experience with Levi's was great from picking out the carpet to installation. I would recommend them to anyone.

We worked with Anita Cain at the Hilliard store. She was very informed about the different carpet and LVT options and had a good eye for what would work in our home. The cost for our project was very competitive. The installation went smoothly and the carpet and LVT look great. We would definitely work with Anita and Levi's 4 Floors again.

I wanted to install a laminate tile floor (installed);when I removed the old flooring I found the underpayment was not level. I called Levi's and cancelled my order; which they did . I then ordered carpeting and pad ; the carpet was ordered and installed before the promised date. This was all done without extra extra charges, I would like to commend Jeni Levi for her professional and friendly service
