A local family owned and operated company, Levi's 4 Floors is Columbus Ohio's best choice for all your flooring needs. We opened for business in 1986, creating a pleasant and comfortable shopping environment for each and every customer. We pride ourselves on having the top flooring sales consultants and designers in Central Ohio, with an average of 25 years experience in providing our customers with premier service.
We were extremely pleased with the whole process, especially our rep Joyce, from the Blacklick store. She was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Our only problem was a misscommunication with moving a piano. We were charged $50 extra. Joyce had told us they would not move the piano so we had planned on moving it ourselves. The installers offered to help move it but did not mention the extra charge. Joyce ended up splitting the charge with us.

It was great. We had two different people, the first one came did our floors; they were excellent and two days later; two different gentlemen came and did our entire first floor carpet. Their service is good and their service people were very professional. They were extremely good.

We had a great experience with Levi. The salesman we worked with was very knowledgeable (30+ years of experience) and helpful as this was a first time purchase for us. They were easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions that we had. While they did not have a lot of flexibility after their initial quote, their pricing was very competitive which limited our need to even attempt to negotiate. They were very conscious of our needs and didn't waste our time looking at styles that did not fit what we were looking for. The installers were great too. They showed up on time and finished our entire project (roughly 1500 sq ft) in one day which included moving furniture. The product was great, salesman was great and the overall experience was great!

We worked with Pete at the Powell location and it was an excellent experience. We felt like he was working hard to get us the best price possible and earn our business. It was the service that made us choose Levi's. We could have gotten a better price elsewhere but there is no way we could have gotten the incredible experience we received. Highly recommend and will absolutely use again in the future!

We are really happy with the carpet! We like the color, the feel and it seems to be really high quality. The only thing we weren't happy with was we bought the higher end carpet because it comes with a lifetime warranty, however after we paid our sales rep suddenly mentioned that to prevent voiding the warranty we have to get the carpets professionally cleaned every 18 months, and receipts must be presented as well. I don't know anyone who gets their carpets cleaned that often by a professional; that's expensive! We feel we were given a bate and switch. If you go with Levi's please be sure to read the fine print on the warranty they use to sell you on the carpet, because it might not be as good as it sounds.

I apologize for the late info ,certainly not an attempt to deceive but to share the warranty information. All stain warranties currently on the market have a cleaning clause attached .We would be happy to clean her carpet for her and set her up a reminder that way we would have copies of her receipts if she ever needed them.

We purchased carpet in 2007 for our living room area and hallway. This carpet holds a 15 year limited warranty against wear and tear. Everything was good until a couple years ago when we started seeing wear. In 2012 We contacted Levi;s who had us contact Envista the manufacturer of the carpet fibers. They came out and looked things over and collected carpet samples, etc. When we received the report, it said there was nothing they could do because it was not worn down enough to qualify for replacement. We then tried to go through the manufacturer of the carpet. Well, again a brick wall. The carpet manufacturer went out of business. We contacted Levi's about the problem. Talked to Art Levi. Basically, what it comes down to is our carpet is 7 years old, there is really nothing they can do about the problem because the manufacturing plant went out of business. We can try again down the line to see if we qualify for anything from Envista. In the meatime, we are the ones that have to live with inferior carpeting or replace it ourselves. When you purchase carpet for your home, it is a big expense. You expect the carpet to live up to its expectations or the company that sold you the product from wherever it was bought, should stand behind what they sell.

Unfortunately, my experience with this business fell completely short which is extremely upsetting given the fact I spent almost $8,000 with them and tried to work with them for 3 months with no satisfactory resolution. Please understand I have tried to write this review as objectively as possible and as someone who has given a number of A ratings to other businesses on Angie's list through the years. I had the carpet installed in 2 waves b/c there wasn't enough in stock to do it all at once. The first install (which went great) was for 2 rooms and the second install occurred 1 week later in the remaining 4 rooms. The carpet in all the rooms was the same color, style and quality (or at least was supposed to be). I should also mention that we had just purchased a new home and were trying to get all the carpet installed before moving our furniture into the rooms, so timing was important and one of the reasons we used Levi's 4 Floors. We lived with my in-laws for an entire week (we have twin infants and a 3 yr old) just so we could wait for the carpet to be installed before moving our furniture in. After all the carpet was installed, I noticed that the carpet from the second installation felt harder and thinner compared to the first installation. To a laymen, it felt like it was thinner and less dense (like 30 oz carpet) instead of the thicker and more plush (45 oz carpet) I had paid for. In addition, there were these little balls of hardened latex under the carpet fiber - significantly moreso from the carpet installed the second time around. I'm pretty detail oriented when it comes to home improvements, so I asked my wife, friends and other family members to tell me what they thought just to make sure I wasn't being too picky. They all agreed that the carpet did in fact feel different between the first and second install. One week after the installation was completed, I made Levi's aware of my concern - this was in the last week of November '13. Initially, Levi's customer service was prompt and responsive. They wanted to send samples of the carpet from the 1st and 2nd install to the manufacturer so they could test them. I took time out of my work day to drop off some scraps they left at the house from both installations. I even received a verbal acknowledgement from the store staff that the samples I left did feel different. At this point, I was getting concerned b/c I didn't understand why I had to deal with the carpet manufacturer to remedy the issue. I was a customer of Levi's 4 Floors, not a customer of the Shaw Carpet Mill in Atlanta GA. Regrettably, I went along with it. Fast forward to January '14 (it took that long to get the carpet tested but I was trying to be understanding b/c it was in the midst of the holidays), the carpet results came back. Both samples met the "industry standard" for quality at this grade. I explained to them that it's great they meet the "industry standard" but as a customer that just spent almost $8k for new carpet it was not acceptable. I requested I be given the option to replace the carpet or a reimbursement for the material from the 2nd installation as a way to resolve the issue since moving all the furniture out of the rooms would have been a huge, inconvenient ordeal for my family (especially since we had initially waited to move furniture into the house for this reason and have 3 children). The customer service rep I was dealing with told me she would talk to the owner, Art Levi, and have him call me. It was at this point that their responsiveness to my claim slowed down. Art did call me and I was given a lot of round about explanations....For example, it's like if you buy 5 different pairs of Levi jeans at the store, they may not all fit exactly the same. That's fine if I'm spending $40 for a pair of jeans but not when I'm spending $8,000 on carpet. I was also told that based on the test results the carpet differences should be indiscernible. Then why does a laymen like myself (and everyone else I know) feel a difference??? I invited Art to come to my home to see and feel for himself. He came out on 2/8. This was the first time anyone actually came out to look at the carpet (which was approximately 10 weeks after I submitted my complaint). I was given detailed explanations about the carpet manufacturing process, how testing is done etc etc. I was even told that in all his years experience he's only seen carpet test results come back in favor of the dispute 2 times - WOW...so why did I just wait 2 months for carpet test results that had over a 99% likelihood of showing no difference? I was also told I'd be hard pressed to prove out some kind of conspiracy theory that the carpet manufacturer was making and testing the carpet wrong. This just added to my frustration...I wasn't trying to prove out a conspiracy theory...I don't think anyone intentionally made the carpet wrong. As a customer, I paid a lot of money for new carpet and it feels noticeably different between installations (One feels thicker and more plush than the other) - simple as that. There was no resolution from Art's visit. He said he didn't feel any difference in the carpet even though everyone else (my friends, family and his store staff) did. In my final phone conversation I asked if Levi's 4 Floors had a customer satisfaction guarantee. The response I got was yes, but it's tied to the manufacturer and it expires after 90 days which has passed and it doesn't cover the cost to install the carpet and you have to pick a different carpet to enact that etc etc etc - huh???? The impression I was given a customer is that if they can't hold the carpet manufacturer liable for the defect, then they aren't going to offer up a resolution to make you happy, especially if it will cost them money. It's not a consumer centric business model. Not to mention, in my initial contact with them when I purchased the carpet (which I should have taken as warning signs), they overcharged me $1,200 (installation is built into the carpet price but they charged me installation on top of that and said it was an accident which they quickly fixed). And, the Angie's list discount they offer for the free carpet pad upgrade to 8lbs does not apply to the moisture barrier carpet pad. They wouldn't even give me the 6 to 8 lb pad credit as an Angie's list customer and let me pay the difference to go from 8lbs to 8 lbs w/ moisture barrier. Instead, I had to pay the full upgrade price to go from 6 lbs to 8lbs w/ moisture barrier. Again, not consumer centric at all. B/c of their unwillingness to offer up any real solution to resolve the issue, I can not recommend them nor would I consider doing business with them again. I feel I've been more than patient, reasonable and tolerant of their process and explanations. What's been missing is a reasonable, genuine desire from them to make their customers happy and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

It is unfortunate that [Member name removed] feels this way and doesn't agree with the testing done by a laboratory of which the results are on file and we welcome Angie's list to view. [Member name removed] is perfectly within his right to have the carpet tested by an unbiased ,industry recognized lab of his choice and at his cost. 4Floor's has a great reputation within the community and we strive to maintain that which does include a 90 day no questions asked replacement guarantee which is backed by the yarn manufacturer not the mill. This is where the conspiracy theory comes in as the yarn manufacturer issues the warranty not the mill. They have a vested interested in making sure that the carpet is manufactured to their standards as they are responsible for the applicable warranties and not the mill. What the warranty states is that you must pick a different style and or color of carpet and that the consumer is responsible for the labor. If [Member name removed] has reconsidered his previous position and now wishes to reselect carpet and pay labor he can do so, at the time of our last conversation he was unwilling to do so. The pad issue is irrelevant to this discussion as there is no question with regards to padding. Again if Angie's list or band of neighbors would like to view the test results we at 4 Floors would be happy to provide them. The analogies given were meant to illustrate tolerances in manufacturing and nothing more than that. In closing while 4Floors strives to ensure a pleasant buying experience for all our customers we can not account for" feel tests" versus documented test results from a recognized laboratory and industry standard tolerances. Please feel free to have [Member name removed] contact me directly if he chooses to accept one of the afore mentioned remedies either independent testing on his part or reselection of carpet under the guidelines of the satisfaction warranty. This is done knowing full well that the test results from the mill prove no defect in the carpet exists but in the interest of customer satisfaction. This replacement minus the labor will be the financial responsibility of 4Floor's as the mill has done their testing and is now relieved of any liability.

We shopped at the Hilliard store. Sales rep Anita Cain was great. She showed us LOTS of options and let us take some of the samples home so we could see how they looked with furniture, walls, etc. She then came to the house and measured all the areas and called the next day with the costs. When we went in to sign the sales contract, she showed us even more samples that she thought might work for us. After making our final selections, we set installation dates. The installation took parts of 4 days: day 1 for the foyer (3 hours); day 2 for the laminate (10 hours, including old carpet removal); day 3 for the carpet (3 hours, including old carpet removal); and day 4 for installing the shoe moulding (2 hours). All installers were very professional and extremely customer-oriented. Our laminate installers even came back a week later to install some different thresholds for us. All in all, we're extremely satisfied with all aspects. We would definitely use Levi's 4 Floors again and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy/install flooring.

We stopped in to the Hilliard store, picked out flooring samples to take home and never heard back from the salesperson. We took the samples back to the store and ask for just prices and were told the two guys behind the desk were just "holding down the fort". We asked for a call back (again) with prices and never heard back. Moving on.

The salesman and workers were very professional and completed the job within the agreed upon time table. The only regret I have is that the salesman did not bring up the topic of where we would want the carpet seams in each room. This was predetermined when the installers did the work and a couple of the seams were not where we would have preferred them. Excellent company and very professional workers.

Sherrey was prompt, polite and thoroughly professional. The installers were professional and cleaned up after install. Only problem that occurred, but was subsequently corrected was the front kick plate on my dishwasher wasn't replaced and we had to have workers return to correct. President of company called to apologize that this was not immediately corrected! Other than that, project went smoothly.

We originally spoke with Mark. He was very helpful in educating us as to what would be our best options for our needs. He came to measure and assured us that the new flooring could be installed over the old. We choose the flooring and a date, but no time, was set for installation. Mark called shortly before to ask if we could change the date to a day earlier as he thought the job may take more than one day. Although we had to juggle our schedules around...we agreed. When we asked what time they would arrive...Mark wasn't sure and couldn't give us a time. This was really inconvenient for us. We had things to do before they arrived, such as move furniture, clean under appliances etc. As a result we were up really early trying to get things ready for the install. They have to realize that people take off work and reschedule appointments to be home for this. They 2 installers arrived a bit after 9AM. They had a look around and determined that the old floor would need to be removed before installing the new. So....my cleaning was done for nothing. We weren't too happy about that either....simply because we could have done things differently had we known in advance. These are things Mark should have told us when he came to measure/look at the job. It would've made it a lot easier for us. The installers were great, fast, clean...they knew their stuff. They even helped us move some of the furniture...which wasn't part of the job. They finished by 4PM...hardly a 2 day job. In our opinion the sales people should stick to sales and let the installers measure/evaluate the job. It might save some confusion and hassle for everyone. The floor is gorgeous and the installers did an excellent job. Would we buy from them again? Yes.The end result is absolutely beautiful and worth a little bit of annoyance.

From our first trip to Levi's we were impressed by the helpfulness of salesman answering questions and showing us different kinds of carpeting and pads. We never felt pressured to buy from them and in fact they were our third carpet store to solicit a quote from. After picking one that we liked, the salesman came and measured our rooms and then provided an estimate for all steps and when they might be ready to do the removal and installation. When the appointment was made we paid 50% of the cost and the installers showed up promptly on time and started moving furniture and removing old carpet and pad. In about 3 hours they were done and all furniture put back in place, carpet installed and clean up done. We were very pleased with the work and the carpet and working with Levi's for Floors.

From start to finish it was an excellent experience. I had used Levi's 4 floors about 10 years ago and they were just as good this time around. We had 2 straight forward bedrooms and a lower level area installed with a Stainmaster carpet. The lower level is a more difficult install because of the columns and trim work, but this time the install was perfect. I like the fact that they have a lifetime re-stretch policy and the carpet itself has a lengthy warranty.

I got a quote and pursue on using their service. They finished the job and there's a little bit of issue that we had and they came out in a reasonable amount of time after the initial installation and fix that issue. I had a pleasurable experience with them. The lady that came out was just really honest, straight forward and tried to help in terms of the quality and prices of material to fit my budget right. There was no holes unlike other companies that I got a quote from. I felt like she is being honest so I felt comfortable with her.
