They were unprofessional, rude and disrespectful they way that they treated my belongings in which I trusted them to take care of.

Our experience was awful! The gentlemen who moved used were inexperienced and did not care about anything (they left furniture at our old house and took a cushion with them when they left). Because of the lack of care, we had damage to both homes (our old home is still on the market) and to our stuff. To make our experience even worse, it took over 4 weeks to get all the damage taken care of. We felt that nobody cared about us once we paid them our money and getting any kind of response from Leaders was impossible. Two weeks into this ordeal I called and spoke to who I believe was the owner. He assured me that he would figure out how to fix the damage quickly and call me back next week- well that was two weeks ago and I am still waiting for a his call! The company that they hired to come fix all the damages did really great work, but they were really hard to get scheduled and cancelled on us twice. Does Leaders care how my experience with the contractor went? I don't know, no one has called me. Below is the email that I sent the claims manager on 8/26. On 8/27 our cushion was returned, on 9/17 the work was completed at our old home, and on 9/24 the work was completed on our new home. As I mentioned, our experience with Leaders was just plain awful. I feel that we paid $300 for our stuff to be damaged/ruined and waste our time dealing with the aftermath. The three gentlemen that showed up seem to have no experience and treat our stuff like they were moving it into a college dorm. Some examples include: - One of them ran down the driveway with a queen mattress on his back. There were three people- I would think two people could have carried it out of the house no problem, - One was walking through the new house with the bed frame banging into walls like he did not care. -They tried to shove furniture into a room. When I noticed the paint he starting to chip I told them not to make it fit. What is frustrating about this fact is that my husband and father-in-law were able to move the furniture with no issues through this door. - They did not seem to know how to properly drive the truck. Not only did the movers seem to lack experience, they also didn't seem to care. They did not take direction well. When they first arrived we had our house cleaned out except the pieces that they were to take. We went through the list so I assumed they would take care of everything so I got out of their way. When we arrived at the new house I got a phone call from my husband- they had left a couch in the basement. They seemed mad when I told them they had to go back. In the new house I ran through where I wanted things and none of them listened. I had to direct them with every item. Even when I was doing this they still were not getting it right. Because of their inexperience and lack of care we had several damages to our walls and furniture. - The stairwell to the basement in our old house is a total disaster. There is dent at the bottom of the steps, the side wall is all scrapped up, and the paint in the ledge is all torn up. This is especially troublesome because the house has just been listed on the market. - The front door to the old house frame paint is chipped. -The front door on the new house frame paint is chipped. -The paint on the doors leading to the den is chipped (where they tried to shove in the furniture) (New house) -To try to get the couch into the room they took off a leg, which wasn't meant to be take off. This couch is now broke. -When bringing in the furniture, they put all the cushions in a corner. When we were putting them on the couches after they left we realized we were missing one- so now the loveseat is not complete. -There are marks in the newly painted livingroom of the new house. -The back of our dresser/mirror bedroom furniture is all torn up. -They consistently backed up over the curb of both houses. We have been told by our neighbor that they ran over a drainage pipe and we still need to assess that damage. (Old house) We picked Leaders because of the excellent reviews on Angie's List. In the past we have had these exact pieces moved by Red Ball Movers. The price was almost exactly the same, but the experience was totally different. We had no issues with them what so ever. They also took about an hour and a half and these guys took over 3! For a couple pieces of furniture that seems like a long time, especially since it wasn't like they were taking their time to treat our stuff with care.

Movers arrived on time 8:00 AM and did a run through to access, told me it was more that the estimated and would need another truck and crew and more money. Contacted management and they blamed me for not estimating the home better, appears that someone needs to physically come to your home and look for themselves! Movers worked at a moderate pace and worked until 11:00PM, they did not complete our move and left over 40 boxes, ladder, dog house, table and bikes, there were boxes placed in the wrong rooms and left for us to move on our own. They were exhausted as we were too. There was damage to our walls, broken glassware and other items not handled as careful as expected.

The two men that arrived to load the items were fabulous. Very professional. Very personal. Very careful. Upon arrival in Boston the movers contacted my son and made a very smooth delivery of the furniture and items. Very timely! From the original contact with Leaders Moving to the follow up - all wonderful!

We had 2 movers and they showed up 30-45 minutes late. The company didn't call me but rather sent me an email asking me to call them. Had I not seen the email I would never have known what was going on. The company did have my phone number since I had spoken to them the day before to confirm they had my reservation, time and contact information. Upon calling leaders, per their email I was transferred then patched over to the driver of my moving crew. The driver stated that his company gave him the wrong address and was completely rude as if I was the one who sent him the wrong direction. Of the movers we had 1 who did a spectacular job. Brian, he took his time, was polite, and made us feel as if he truly wants to take care of our stuff. He worked his tail off. Thank you Brian. The other guy, was in a hurry he banged furniture, dropped boxes, even fragile boxes. When he was loading the truck he piled a column of boxes so high they all fell out of the truck.

Efficient, a young team but professional and polite. Arrived on time and loaded within 90 mins. Open communication, identified conflicts provided alternatives. Would definitely use the service provider again.

We can't say enough good things about Leaders. Dana and AJ were 'our' guys and we will definately be requesting these two specifically when we move into our next house. They were prompt, professional and FAST. They moved all of our big furniture from our 4 bedroom house, some of things went into our storage unit and others into our 1 bedroom apartment. We couldn't believe the speed at which they had the truck loaded and unloaded, they were literally running into and out of the truck. They took great care of our items and not one thing was dented/scratched/broken. They were easy to work with and even ended up requoting us on the spot because our original quote included an extra flight of stairs, which was not correct. Leaders was really reasonably priced and they'll be getting our business again in the very near future. Thank you Dana and AJ!

This move went very well. We were the third move they did that day. They came at 245PM and got everything out of the house quicky and efficiently. They brought it to the new house and unpacked it. It took them about 6 hours. They said it was the biggest move they did that day. They were excellent. Very professional with how they dealt with everything. I would reccomend them to others.

I thought they did a good job. None of my property was damaged. Very decent work, I'd use them again.

When I called to make the appointment, I was given an estimate over the phone. I was not real comfortable with this but it seemed every company I called wanted to do the same thing. The estimated price was in line with others I had obtained. They emailed me an itemized estimate the very same day. I called later in the week to change a few things. They again emailed the revised estimate shortly thereafter. Whenever I called, someone answered the phone immediately. The move went exceptionally well. The movers showed up right on time. They introduced themselves and were very professional. The first thing they did was walk through to see what exactly we had to move. I was able to add and subtract some items; they called the office and an adjustment was made (in my favor). I was assured this would be the price I would owe at the end of the day, and it was. No add-ons, etc. This was a first-class operation all the way. The workers were neat and courteous. There was no complaining of being tired as I have heard from other movers in the past. It was a rainy day, still no complaining. In fact, they were cheerful! I had the feeling that they enjoyed their work. Everything arrived at our new place in great condition. I'm not sure how they managed to get the furniture down the hall without scraping the walls, which we had just had painted the day before, but they did it. This experience exceeded my expections and I would recommend them without hesitation.

The movers called on the day of the initial move letting me know they were on their way, which helped a lot. They showed up in the morning and went over the process, walked through the house to compare to quote and see what they were up against. There were 3 guys and it was the first time I had ever moved using movers. Those guys went over and beyond to ensure it was a good process. I didn't prep the house like I should have and these guys guided me through the whole process ensuring me it would be okay they wouldn't leave until we were completely loaded up and satisfied. Again, I had never moved and didn't know how to accurately assess all my belongings causing a space on the truck issue. Matt informed me everything would be fine and they would get another truck there if they had too, in order to finish the job. Of coarse, they ran out of room and I was nervous since we had to be out of the house that night and had a loaded truck with tons of stuff still in the house. Matt called his supervisor got it all worked out by leaving the 2 other guys on-site bringing everything to a centralize place, while Matt took the truck back and brought out a new one. They ended up loading that all the way up as well leaving us to haul all few things but it was so nice to know they had my back the entire time with no worries on their part. The storied my stuff for a few days until I closed on the new house and they moved me back in. I couldn't believe moving from Cincinnati to Columbus could be so easy and won't have been if I wouldn't have used Leaders. I was recommended to use them and I also would highly recommend them to someone.

Matt Penhorwood was great to work with. We were able to schedule the pick up and delivery date within our time frame. He led us through Leaders' worksheet creating an accurate list of the items that we intended to move. We received the quote promptly and made a few minor changes causing an acceptable revision in the quote. Matt called the day before the move and gave us reasonable range of time when the moving van would arrive. The van and three man crew led by Phil arrived within the allotted time. After a brief walk through Phil and his crew got to work. They were absolute professionals. The pick up and delivery went without incident. Leaders Moving & Storage did a great job!

We scheduled well in advance of our move date and were told repeatedly that meeting a 1:00 p.m. Saturday deadline to be out of the home was not a problem. Unfortunately, they did not show up until 11:20 a.m. which left only an hour and 40 minutes to load a 2500+ sq ft home. Due to the employees efforts to try and meet the impossible deadline created by their tardiness there was damage done to both the home and our possessions. The new owners of the home arrived at 1:00 with their moving company and were unable to unload their possessions because of Leader's tardiness. This created an entirely unnecessary stressful situation for both us and the new owners. We spoke to our salesperson on the following Monday to express our dissatisfaction with their services. He was apologetic and was able to have our bill reduced to 1/2 price with the promise that the person who handles any damage would be in contact with us. That never occurred. We intentionally waited until some time had passed to write this review in order to give Leaders time to make good on all of their commitments and allow us to consider the situation in a different light. As of the date of this review we have never been contacted by Leaders about the damage to our possessions. We have no interest in having any further contact with this company who failed us miserably even though they came highly recommended by Angie's List. We do realize that situations occur that cannot be controlled however this company's performance on an already stressful day was the worst.

I worked with Jim on the phone and he was extremely flexible with changes in dates and move items I made. Team arrived within hour window for the day of the move.. Guys were very courteous and flexible as well. I'm female and I've never done a larger move, so maybe I don't know what to expect, but I was surprised the truck had no dolly or tools. I had washer, dryer, and refrigerator to move and doors had to be lifted from hinges. I had some tools, but I wasn't sure where they were. I found them; however, I thought the company should provide these things for the truck/men. Still, everything was moved in a timely fashion and in one piece. I was happy with the service. I would just clarify with Jim up front, truck has what it needs, for the type move you are making. Doesn't hurt.

The young men they sent were very considerate. They got everything moved with no mishaps. They also repaired one of the bed's hardware so that it could be assembled..

We had used them about 12 years ago and to see how they have evolved from a white box truck with black lettering to a more state of the art company was very impressive. They were very careful with all of our furniture and our fragile items. They were easy to work with and helped make our move a lot easier for us.

Our family took an apartment in Cleveland while my mother was a patient at the Cleveland Clinic. I hired Leaders to move the furniture from that apartment back to our family home in Columbus. The team arrived at the apartment in Cleveland on time. A supervisor arrived with the team of two to confirm exactly what was being done, then the team went to work. They loaded everything up quickly and securely. They wrapped up the glass shelves from my end tables to ensure they made the trip safely. When the truck arrived in Columbus, they unloaded just as efficiently, putting all of the pieces where I wanted them to go. I had a really good experience and would use them again.

very professional. on time and reasonably priced. move included many very heavy woodworking tools and they were champs on every dimension. this is our third move with Leaders and I would use them again (but I never move again!)

The first day went fine. Both employees were cooperative and extremely polite. The second day, Loader # 1 was there and had a good attitude. Loader # 2 was a different employee and he brought along his snippy attitude. Said he knew how to move a Sleep Number Bed and set it up. Not. My bed has to be completely redone by the Sleep Number people and they are not inexpensive. Not sure if his attitude was because he wasn't totally in charge instead of my son-in-law who came from Florida to help me move. One minute he was cooperative and the next minute he was snippy with us. His problem. Also, the price was much higher than I expected but I didn't argue and even tipped both men. I probably would not use them again.

The move took much longer than we expected and the guys actually had to make 2 trips back and forth even though we didn't have that much stuff. They were really careful with our belongings in the beginning, but as the day went on you could tell they were getting tired and not as worried about hitting things on the doorways and walls. Overall, they got the job done, but I was expecting more from some of the other reviews I had read.

They did an outstanding job. I would use them again. I would recommend them to anyone.
