Overall things went fine. The leader of the move was courteous and helpful. The guy that was second in command was great as well. The third guy, not sure if he was new or in training or what, did a lot more chatting or waiting to be told what to do. Super friendly crew though overall, just had two guys working a lot harder than the 3rd guy. My only criticism is that in the rush to load and unload some pieces of furniture were scratched or placed upside down. It happens and it was nothing horrible, but worth mentioning nonetheless. My first experience with Leaders 11 years ago was still a little better than this one, but overall I will continue to use them for any future moves.

AS moves goes could not have been better. On time and very careful with my stuff

Over all good. They ripped my couch and said they would call and get it fixed. Never happened. They also left the tool box and a couple of real nice packing blankets. I call ed them and told them but they never came out to pick them up.

These guys were great! I would absolutely use them again. Unfortunately, we moved out of a state they service and had to go with other movers; we've never again had the wonderful experience we had with Leaders. While living in Ohio, we used Leaders 4 times and NEVER had ANYTHING broken or even slightly damaged. They were always courteous, careful with not only our belongings but also our time, and I always felt I was getting every penny of my money's worth when we hired them.

Leader was professional, punctual, and thorough, taking a full inventory of all items to be moved in my large 6-bedroom house. The competition had slightly better pricing, but we might've went with Leader anyway. However, our closing was moved due to some funding issues with our buyer, and Leader was unavailable the days we could move. I'm confident Leader's would've done a good job, but have no direct experience other than in getting a quotation on a timely basis.

Billy, Marvin, Galvin, and Brian were all awesome. The took great care of our belongings and kept us updated every step of the way. This was our third time using Leaders and we will use them each time we move in the future.

They were very conscientious. Everything went pretty well. They broke a piece off a media cabinet but it was easily put back. They were supposed to deliver boxes of books and goods to areas marked on the boxes. Many were not taken to the right places -- some were caught in time, many were not and had to be moved later.

This review needs to be divided into two parts: The move and the claims process because both were two very different experiences. The movers (Jim and his crew of 2 others) showed up on moving day fairly prompt and reviewed the items on the list to be moved. We were only having them move big items without any packing involved. They worked quickly, however several items were carried awkwardly (such as one mover carrying a coach by himself or a bedframe intact all by himself). Me and the other family members present at the old and new house helped them to ensure that no damage would be done to those items. It became apparent that they really could have used a 4th member. On the loading end, a top attachment to my daughter's dresser was loaded awkwardly and Jim was about to strap it down when my wife saw it. She mentioned it to me and I ran outside and politely asked him if he could flip the top piece around so that the wooden attachment piece would not snap off when it was strapped down. He said he agreed and I went off to put the box I was carrying into my car. What I did not see, but my wife did, was Jim flipping me the bird when I left visual sight. I know moving is a tough job, but as the customer, I reserve the right to offer comments that may help prevent damage to our items. It is on me to be professional and courteous, but to react with the middle finger is completely unprofessional and frankly, pathetic. The rest of the loading went fine and we met them at the new house. On the other end, the unloading was more difficult and did not end well. They did carry a very heavy wooden entertainment system up the stairs without damaging it or the walls/stair rails. It did require a release of fault on our part which we did as well as removal of shelves and doors (which my father in law took off). But they damaged a dresser handle, bedframe, strapped wooden chairs into the truck causing rope burn (try padding next time!) and the capper was scratching our hardwood floor while trying to get a sofa down the stairs into the basement. Although the fit was tight, the padding on the floor and beneath the sofa was substandard. In addition, a 4th member would have helped with the lifting while the lead could have been fully in tuned to process and probably preventing the scratch. Between the damages on this end and the bird flipping on the other end, I was pretty much done with these guys and glad to get them out of my house. If the review stopped here it would be an F for sure outside of the price. When I spoke to Tony Pace on the claims side, it was a completely different experience. He apologized profusely for what happened and worked very hard to rectify the damages. We had a floors refinished which required some flexibility on Leaders part to let the original company come in and do it. A contractor refurbished and touched up all the wood and Tony agreed to pay to replace the dresser handles. He even agreed to pay for all of them to make sure the dressers matched. Tony was very professional and reasonable throughout which was much appreciated. Although it took a few months to rectify everything due to contractor coordination and finding the correct dresser handles that would work, Tony made it as painless as possible. The final grade for leaders is a C and not an F because of Tony Pace. He earned an A to an A+. I could not imagine a claims department being any better than this one. It was difficult to answer the question "Would we hire them again?", because our experience was differed greatly during the move and claims process. Our answer was no because had the move gone better, there would be no need for claims. I think this crew that we had was a young one. They could use some additional training on professionalism and it would be wise to send a 4th member on jobs like these. Given that Tony was fantastic in claims and the overall good reputation of Leaders in the community, perhaps this was a unique Leaders experience that with a different crew, we would not have ended up where we did. So the real answer as to if we would hire again? Maybe. It would honestly depend on the crew we got and assurances that the next crew would be professional and more importantly handle our things with better care using the correct number of folks. I am not sure any moving company could guarantee that, however.

Leaders is absolutely fantastic! The crew that came tomove me was sharp, personable and very efficient. They were hustling the entire time and helped to coordinate a seamless move. I've used Leaders several times, and I've never been disappointed. Definitely the best money I've spent on moving!!!

Two weeks before a scheduled move it became obvious my do-it-yourself plans weren't going to work; in a panic I e-mailed two Angie's List Top Providers asking for help. Amazingly both were able to offer proposals, on short notice and in peak moving season. Leaders agent Jordan Mohler explained all the Columbus slots were already scheduled but worked out using a truck and workers from their Cleveland office. I appreciated Leaders making this extra effort on my behalf. Leaders proposal was fair; I chose the other provider because their proposal covered more potential problem areas. Hopefully this is my last move but I would not hesitate to contact Leaders again should the need arise.

Their initial estimate was for a full packing job - but I was able to pack some things ahead of time and the total cost was reduced on the day of the move. They do a great job packing up kitchen plates and glassware and all sorts of odd items. They were exceptionally careful with fragile items. They hauled heavy furniture up to a third floor living room without any issues. I highly recommend them!

We've used Leaders for several moves, the latest being last weekend. Leader is the best moving company we've used. They are professional, polite, careful, they can handle larger moves, and they work quickly. They aren't the cheapest but they seem like sort of the Cadillac of movers. You feel confident using them. They provide a quote per box and we were able to reduce the price of the move by moving some boxes ahead of time. They have a good system and are well-prepared. They know how many crew members to bring, size of truck, how many wardrobes, how many boxes, etc. We also liked their box recycling program. The boxes were very sturdy.

We had to move from our 5 bedroom 4.5 bath 4000 Sq feet Multilevel 3 car garage home to a much smaller compact home in NYC :(. We initially contacted United, Atlas and couple of other National movers but were very skeptical on the feedback we saw in the web. Having used Leaders in the past to move inside Columbus OH gave them a call to figure out if they would take up the job in moving outside state. When I called Leaders Jason picked up the call and I told him my major criteria was that the move should be immediate and quality of the people who would be assigned to our job. Jason was very courteous and came to our home the next day to give us a quote. He also assured me that he would be the person in charge in making this move as seamless as possible. He assigned Garrett and also gave us a background of his qualifications as a mover, basically went through his resume :) and assured us that he would be there with us for the entire moving process. The best part about leaders compared to experience I have heard from my friends who had similar moves is the associates who pack your stuff are the same people who drive, deliver and unpack. This was very important to us as we heard horror stories where sometimes movers take your stuff to a docking and staging location where they unpack and reload etc and in this process your valuables goes missing or broken. Garrett was very courteous it took more than 10 hours for his team to pack and he had to call additional reinforcements too. Towards the evening the truck was full and Garrett had to get a second truck and Leaders assured us that they would not charge for a second truck and would combine the second truck to another move that was also scheduled to NYC. I was quite surprised by their professionalism and how they made sure that they stood by the initial quote they gave. They could have easily negotiated for a new rate and as 90% of my home contents was already in the truck I would have easily said yes but that was not the case. Finding a professional company like this in this darn age was a great surprise to me. Garrett and his team met us at our new home in NYC and it took almost 2 days for them to unpack and set everything where we needed. We had to move some of the furniture around multiple times and Garrett and his team did not complain. At a later date when we were getting ready to clean our home in Columbus for sale, we found a few boxes and painting in basement that was missed through inventoried for move. Leaders moved that too without any questions asked. All in all a great experience, sometimes you luck out in finding a company like Leaders who are honest, accountable and treat their customers with integrity. We had been in Columbus OH for 19 years and moving out to an unknown place was stressful enough for our family and Leaders played a major part in getting us settled in our new place and a big thank you for all you guys in helping us out. BTW I gave a B for pricing as we had lesser online quotes from Atlas, United Van Lines but I am sure that the experience with them would have been much different.

We've used Leaders in the past and loved them. This time was absolutely horrible. The movers showed no respect for our belongings. They flat out refused to do anything to protect our floors. They carried boxes three high so that the bottom box was bowing. When setting boxes down, they stacked boxes so high the bottom boxes crumbled. We were very disappointed.

I've used Leaders a few times in the past and as usual, the movers are always careful and professional. They are very precise in what they do, from wrapping items like furniture that could get soiled/damaged, placing blankets on items where appropriate and counting your inventory. I give major credit to their integrity because I had over-estimated my items and the types of items I had which resulted in a higher quote, but the lead mover performed the inventory and advised me of my errors which resulted in a lower cost the day of. Definitely will never complain about that. Other movers may bid lower, but depending on your circumstances, what's cheap comes out expensive later. I had to place items in storage because my home won't be ready for a few months and when I really did the math, Leaders excellence, cost and convenience led the way. My only concerns were that this time around, they were not responsive at all. I was told that a couple of days before my move, I would get a confirmation call. The day came and went, no call. I finally had to call them a weekend day before my move (for which I purposely waited until close to their stated closing time to call, just to see if they were calling that day and had perhaps gotten behind in their confirmations). At that point, I was able to "confirm" everything and provide my credit card. Since I had agreed to hire them a few weeks before, the first move was available for me, which should have been 8 a.m. (Yes, I realize they don't arrive right at 8 -- they start then, so you have to give them some travel time.) However, when 9:15 rolled around with zero communication from Leaders, I called and was advised that they got a late start and were on the way. What if I had to go to work at a certain time that day? Within a half-hour? No problem. But if they were going to be that late, they should have called, especially since you're moving, you're probably not planning on spending a lot of time in a place all packed up with boxes, then you have to wait around. Was very disappointed in this, but I'm hoping it was just an off day for them. Overall, they do a good job, the movers were great and I'm reasonably sure my stuff won't be damaged with them compared to other movers I've hired, so I would continue to hire them. Just hope they get better with communication and follow-up.

The initial contact with Jason McCollum, their moving consultant, went well. He provided an estimate for the move from our condo to about two miles away into our new apartment. Jason also stated that the estimate amount may drop based on anything we moved ourselves and also any boxes we returned to their office. As expected, the day before the move, the office called to inform us of an estimated arrival time and the number of movers showing up. The movers were on time and immediately got to work. They were quick in packing the areas we wanted packed, and when unpacking the boxes, we found the items to be wrapped nicely to avoid breakage and/or damage. When the guys moved the furniture and boxes, they were quick and strong, but it did seem that they took quite a few breaks and what has previously only been a two-hour move, took three hours...even with us moving items/boxes ourselves before the big moving day. Unfortunately after everything was unloaded into our apartment we discovered several furniture pieces had scratches, dents, dings, and rubs. Due to the $100 deductible and furniture that really can't be fixed or replaced, we did not want to go through the claims process. The time and hassle just wasn't worth it. As far as returning boxes for money back, Leaders pays $0.80 per box, which for me, makes it too much of a hassle to try and squeeze 10 boxes in the car for a whole $8.00. We did receive close to a $200 discount on the initial estimate since we had already moved several items and boxes on our own before moving day, so Leaders was true to their word about reducing the estimate versus the actual move price. Overall, Leaders is a good, fast moving company, but I would suggest checking to make sure they use enough furniture pads between your items after being loaded in the truck, especially if you have antique or higher-quality furniture items. After the review was posted Tony from Leaders Moving called me on the phone to discuss the moving issues we had. I was impressed that the company called back so quickly after the review. Tony was very professional and pleasant, he wanted to know what Leaders could do to fix things. I told him that the small damage to the furniture was done and over with and really didn't require anything to be done. As for the boxes he offered to have someone come out and pick them up, but I told him the boxes were gone and his offer was nice , but didn't need to be done. All in all we would use Leaders Moving again.

Showed up with two trucks and 3 movers. We had so much stuff they had to call for a larger truck and another helper. Great service and very professional and personable. Only issue was had some broken items. We had used Judd and sons on a prior move, we thought they did a little better job than Leaders, so would probably go with Judd if had it to do again. Hopefully won't have another move.

Awful experience. We had them move 4 items and had issues with 3 of them. First and foremost, they didn't put our kids crib back together. They never put the nuts on the bolts on the front rail. I was moving it to where it belonged that night and the entire front pretty much fell right off. If they hadn't left it in the middle of the room instead of putting it where I asked there's a good chance it would've fallen apart with my kid in it. Then they didn't assemble our master bed completely. The side rail into wasn't put into its bracket to look it in place and they didn't level out the supports underneath. We noticed as we were putting sheets on it that it looked off and as we looked closer found the p*** poor job they did. They also dropped 2 theater chairs while moving and slammed one of them into a ledge and popped it loose. They scratched the bed and a night stand as well. When I called to complain, spoke with Tim, I was told they would waive the $50 assembly fee......of course they should, they didn't assemble it. He brushed off the fact that my kid could've been hurt and that I had spend a couple hours fixing, after moving and unpacking the rest of the house for the past 2 days, what they had screwed up. I was told they would have the claims manager, Tony, call me that Monday....he didn't. I followed up a week later and then again 2 days after that before I finally got a hold of him. I was told that a company was going to call to schedule to repairs, they didn't. A week later I followed up with Tony. When he checked with the repair company they told him that they tried to contact me twice which they didn't. The branch manager, Jason, apologized but didn't offer anything for the issues we had. I will never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone.

They were very quick. They were wonderful.

Move went well they were on time and did everything they said they would. They were quick with loading and unloading. Only a couple minor scratches on furniture. Overall I will use them again if the need arises.

It went very well. There were many stairs in the house I was moving from and the house I was moving to. The movers were able to cope well with any problems they encountered.

So-so, the team that came did not know how to disconnect the gas dryer, a second team came days later and were much better and more professional, but it seems hit or miss on which moving team shows up and what type of quality and skills you will receive

I could not provide a higher recommendations for Leaders. They were fantastic. Because my furniture was being stored by Leaders for a week before moves, I actually had two moving crews. Both crews were fantastic and it was no easy job. I have many pieces of furniture that are heavy or awkward and several closed staircases to navigate. They took great care to not damage my furniture or the ceilings/walls at both homes and they succeeded. Additionally, I just had the hardwood floors refinished at my new home and, instead of walking directly on them, they put pads on all of the floors to preserve the floors. The guys on both crews were very nice, too.

The 3 movers were very friendly, professional and worked efficiently. We needed a full truck and move took approximately 5 hours. They were great, would use them again in a heartbeat and Grace was wonderful to work with through the quoting process.
