Description of Work: We purchased a deal from him to test the back flow, turn on and check our sprinkler system in the spring, and shut down the system in the fall. He emailed me on 4/20 to set it up. I asked for another day, to which he replied he would look at his calendar and get back to me. Nothing for about a month. I wrote him again twice, still with no reply. Finally I called last weekend. He was unapologetic for his lack of responsiveness (didn't even address it), asked if I'd be home on Monday. I said that I could be (staying home from work). He said he would call me that day. Come monday, no call. I waited the entire day. He then showed up right when I was serving dinner to my family. Still no apology or anything. He kind of hoofed around doing his work. I tailed him because I didn't want him to gloss over anything or ignore leaks, problems, etc. There were in fact some problems with the system. I realize that these weren't his fault or anything, but it seems like it was his duty to fix them. I pressed him on several of them, because I could tell he was trying to breeze through it and get out of there (understandable, since it was nearly 8pm at this point). He finally said that he'd need to come back another time to make those fixes. Great... I'm really looking forward to waiting another 2 months for a reply.

+ -1 moreCalled the owner (Bruce) when their equipment vibration was enough to knock a vase off shelf. He was rude!! acted like his equipment---which is loud, heavy and can't even be moved off the street--could never do this. But being I was home alone and sitting down at the time, we all know different. The point of the review is that the guy was so rude that when I simply asked that next time he use the drive way...he just just replied that he doesn't think so and hung up. That type of person running a business is the kind you steer away from. Instead of handling with any sense of professionalism or willingness to address my complaint...I got the opposite.
Description of Work: Service was being performed for a neighbor. This experience happened via phone during that process when I contacted the owner via phone.
