They did fine work.

Ted Talbott & Brian did an excellent job!! They always called me to let me know what time they would arrive each day. Really, nice, polite gentlemen who are very knowledgable about hardwood floors. They put plastic up at both doorways to contain any dust. The machine they used to sand the floor sucked up the dust and no dust went anywhere else in the house. They cleaned up after themselves after each stage, even making sure they kept the garage floor clean so they wouldn't track any dust in. Also, cleaned up at the end of each day. Ted always kept me informed of the progress of the job. Even advised that I shut my bedroom door and put a towel at the bottom of the door on the days he applied the polyurethane coat, as it has an odor. That way I would not be breathing the fumes when I slept. They even left the extra stain in case I would need to do a touchup in the future. They went above & beyond in many ways to make sure I was happy with their services. I now have a beautiful finished hardwood floor!!!! I will highly recommend them to all my family & friends!! GOOD PEOPLE; GOOD WORK!!!!

We were remodeling our kitchen and decided to refinish the wood floors in our diningroom and livingroom when we remodeled. The contractor used Lasting Impressions to do the work. The kitchen of our 1940's built house had original wood floors under several layers of vinyl in the kitchen. When the vinyl was removed, the wood floor looked awful. We decided we would like to go with wood floors in the kitchen if possible since the kitchen was right off of the living and dining rooms. Rick, from Lasting Impressions said they could save the kitchen wood floor. The contractor was skeptical. Rick was very impressive. He worked extremely hard and the floors were beautiful when he was finished. They turned out so nice that I plan on having him back to also refinish my upstairs bedrooms and stairs in the future.

It was necessary to do considerable hand sanding in the closets and on the edges of the stairs where power sanders could not be used. The crew worked very hard for two days to get the floors prepared for the stain and sealing. The finished job is excellent. Ted, the owner of the company, was one of the main workers. He offered to come back to our house after the work was completed to help us move some heavy furniture that had to moved for the refinishing.

Lasting Impressions came and gave me a reasonable quote, told me which areas might present a problem, and followed up with a quote in a timely manner. Because we were doing so many floors, we set up a schedule to do a set of floors one week, then wait a week to get the furniture moves done, and start up again. This was over a 5-week period. I didn't have to remind them of the schedule. They came on time and finished when they said they would. They always left the work areas neat while working. They were extremely helpful in keeping my inconvenience to a minimum. The finished product is beautiful! Whenever anyone comes into my home, they immediately mention how beautiful the floors are. In the room with large damaged spots, they replaced the wood in such a way that I cannot tell where those damaged spots were, even upon close inspection. The darkly stained rooms were quickly converted to a lighter stain, which brightened up those rooms considerably. The rooms with the thin slats were all completed without any damage. Dust was kept to a minimum. I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with their work. This was top-notch work all the way around!

The experience was excellent. Very good about explaining what they're doing, how its going to work, and why they are doing. They were great about giving us choices, flexibility, and fitting into our schedule. Just very good all around.

I was very pleased with the professionalism of the two men, brothers, I believe, who impressed me with their pride in their work. The first day, in the living room, they sanded the old, bare oak floor and put on a stain that was an excellent match to the floors on the adjoining rooms. Two days later, after the stain had settled and had a chance to dry, they returned and put on a cover satin texture polyurethane. The result is a work of beauty, something this old house well deserves..

They refinished 2 rooms in the house. They sanded them down and put a new coating on.

Lasting Impressions obtained prefinished wood flooring to match our existing floors (other companies did not want to go through the trouble of finding the flooring). They removed existing carpet. Then, they did a great job seamlessly integrating the new floors with the old flooring. Following the installation they sanded and refinished the old and new floors. The final refinishing looked better than the original finish. The workers arrived promptly each day, worked continuously, and were very careful not to damage the existing woodwork. The process was surprisingly clean; there was only the slightest layer of dust from the sanding. They finished exactly when promised and were accomodating with our schedule.

Superb experience from start to finish! A+ on every aspect of service. The floors were quite degraded, but when refinished they now look like new.

The wood floors had to be patched, sanded, stained, and polyurethane applied. Now this is a company that is superior in doing wood floors. They had to add new flooring as you enter the room. Looking at the floor we could not tell where it was added. What was wonderful was they matched the stain to the old floors that had been down for 60 years. The company took time to explain exactly what they were doing and were very interested if we were happy with the job. They were very professional and cleaned up all of the dust from sanding the floor. You would never be sorry you hired them. When we get ready to redo the rest of the floors in our house this is the company we are calling.
