+ 0 moreIt took Kurguz Paving over a month to give me the estimate for replacing a driveway. I received the estimate on May 22, 2010. The estimate was for the wrong work. I received the second estimate on June 11. It was also not for the work I wanted done. The estimate was also very vague. I was having the driveway and approach widened and the estimate did not say anything about widening or gravel they would put under asphalt. I did not have dimensions of driveway etc. I called Kurguz back and told them that the estimate was unclear to me and that it still looked like it was not estimating what I wanted done. I told them I was frustrated at not being able to get the right estimate in almost 2 months.They called me back and said they were not going to give me an estimate for this work. I said ok and hung up. When I called Kurguz to tell them the estimate was wrong, the person on the phone kept interrupting me and did not really hear what I was saying. She just kept saying the corrected estimate was in the mail. When I called back to say that the second estimate was wrong, she got very defensive and said for me to stop yelling at her and it was not her fault. I was not yelling at her. I told her that I knew it was not her fault. I told her I was frustrated at not getting a correct estimate.
Description of Work: They did not perform any service. They were not professional and did not give me a clear and correct estimate. When I asked them to correct it they said they would not bid the work.

+ -1 moreVERY EFFICIENT. THERE WAS ACTUALLY SOMEONE WHO WORKED FOR KURGUZ AT THE OFFICE WHEN I CALLED ON SATURDAY TO REQUEST AN ESTIMATE. OBTAINING ACCESS TO A BUSINESS ON WEEKENDS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AS A SINGLE HOMEOWNER WHO HAS A VERY BUSY WORK SCHEDULED. KURGUZ WAS OUT ON MONDAY TO DO THE ESTIMATE. I HAD THE ESTIMATE IN THE MAIL ON TUESDAY. VERY FAST COMPARED TO OTHERS THAT SAY 7 TO 10 DAYS. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS CLEAR & PROVIDED ALL THE INFORMATION THAT I NEEDED. THEIR PRICE, HOWEVER, WAS THE HIGHEST PRICE OUT OF THE COMPANIES THAT I COMPARED. I WOULD, HOWEVER, DEFINITELY CONSIDER THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: SOUGHT ESTIMATE FOR REMOVING & REPLACING MY ASPHALT DRIVEWAY WITH EITHER ASPHALT OR CEMENT, AND A CEMENT SIDEWALK.

+ -1 moreTHEY COME RIGHT AWAY AND DO GOOD WORK. THEY ARE COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, AND VERY NICE PEOPLE. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THEM EVER.
