KONKUS MARBLE & GRANITE

This is the second time I have had Konkus countertops. They were wonderful each time. The salesman was great to work with and patient as I tried to make my selections. On installation day the installers encountered a problem with the measurement. After we insisted that the wall didn't move, two other gentlemen, including the installation manager, came out to determine what happened. He discovered, clear as day, that our contractor had moved the wall, to accommodate a previous mistake he had made after Konkus had taken their measurements. They came up with a solution and had the installers come back late in the day to complete the job. The fact that it was a Friday evening on a beautiful spring day did not affect the quality of their work or their attitudes. Everyone was very professional and I would use them again.

Terrible. Mount Vernon rep came and measured. Told him what I wanted. Said he’d get back with me the next day. Never heard from him. I called and texted 1-1/2 weeks later. Didn’t respond. Texted again. Said he’d call me In an hour. Never called. 48 hours later texted him again. Asked if he wanted me to get someone else. No response. So now I am basically 4 weeks behind schedule. Nothing was ever discussed other than the first meeting. At least tell a person you are not interested. You have wasted my time. Rude and unprofessional!!!

The job went as expected: it took about 8 business days to get the piece because you get put in the queue with everyone else and they were a bit busy. They have a lot of remnants and I was able to take the old piece of marble in and find a close enough match. $299 was the minimum charge for a job, mine ended up being two pieces to create a windowsill over 8 ft long. It was an easy process for a simple piece. The staff at the front desk were friendly and so was the rep, Steve, that wrote up my order.

Replaced original laminate countertops with granite countertops (~48 sq. ft. total). Great company to work with, from start to finish. We researched many service providers (4-5 contractors), and decided to go with Konkus, based on how they worked with us (pre-quoting phase and during quoting phase). Once we approved their quoted job, we paid approximately 50% of the quote, then scheduled them for templating service and final install. In total, I think it was a 2-week process, once we approved the quote. Very happy with the finished product and quality of work they performed. Price was surprisingly reasonable, too.

Konkus did an outstanding job from start to finish. Our sales rep Amber was friendly, helpful, and very responsive. The install crew were equally outstanding. We will absolutely use Konkus again when we do our master bathroom. Konkus rocks!

The finished product is beautiful! The installers, Cowboy and Jesse, were prompt, professional, and friendly.

We had excellent customer service from beginning to end of the whole process. Everyone we worked with – Sarah (sales), Brian (measure), the layout man, Dustin and Drew (installation), and Kyle (returned to fix small issue) were all professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. A very special thank you to the installation crew, Dustin and Drew. There was a problem with the way we had our new sink cabinet installed, which we didn’t realize until they attempted to install the countertop. It would have led to an unseemly 5/8” gap between the countertop and the undermount sink. Had they gone ahead and installed it like that I would have been greatly disappointed. Thankfully, I happened to have a contractor in my house who could remove a couple cabinets and reset them to fix the issue. Dustin and Drew were willing to remove the countertop they already had placed and shimmed out, then willing to take a two hour break to allow my contractor to fix the issue. I immensely appreciated their openness to fixing the issue right then, and their patience in allowing it to happen. Now I look at my countertop and see where it meets my undermount and I am so pleased at how great it looks. They have quality people doing quality work from top to bottom. We will highly recommend them! Also, we had gotten quotes from other companies for the exact same quartz countertop and we couldn't believe Konkus actually beat their price. We wanted to go with them as they came highly recommended by my brother-in-law and once we got their quote back, we were happy to move forward. And we are so happy that we used them. Had we used a different company, I bet we'd have a huge ugly gap between our countertop and sink.

They were very timely, responsive, thorough and careful. I️ was quite impressed, I️ would definitely use them again.

I have worked with a number of the stone suppliers in Central Ohio so I had a level of expectation for this type of work. From my initial contact with Konkus, I was amazed and blown away by the treatment I received and the quality of customer satisfaction I received! My first call was to a representative who deals with commercial accounts. She referred me to Brandi Croak. Brandi sensed my urgency and I went to their facility the same afternoon. We looked at a number of pieces and selected a product which we agreed would work. An appointment to measure the workspace was scheduled. A contractor here dropped the ball on the installation of the final cabinet so when the technician arrived to take the laser measurements, he worked around my contractors. Once a price was agreed upon, the scheduling coordinator went to work. I needed everything accomplished yesterday, Heidi worked her magic and the work commenced. The installers arrived five minutes early and each went to his task immediately. Stone in a home is a welcome and important finish. The job can be a big struggle if you select the wrong vendor. The day I called Konkus Granite opened the door to a new experience. Professionalism, competitive pricing, wide product selection and punctuality are the hallmarks of Konkus. I have and will continue to refer them to everyone!

Konkus has a beautiful showroom with many different stone selections to choose from. Brendan was great is helping us selection a stone, and offered several suggestions. The measurer was efficient and exact in using his laser tools. Dave & Jake did a good job of installing.

I reached out to this company via email on this site and they couldn't be bothered to answer my email. They obviously didn't want my business so I took my business elsewhere.

Flawless. Counters give a "rich" look to the kitchen

Dealing directly with the owner. Passion and care. His employees are just like him, there's nothing they won't do for you and they won't stop until it looks perfect.

Start to finish, there are absolutely no questions that aren't answered. Very up front and straight forward. Everybody is friendly and knows what they're doing. They called afterward to make sure everything was okay.

Excellent service right from the beginning to the end of the project. Sales team was very helpful and provided advice on what had to be done. Since I had an existing backsplash and did not want to replace it, they pointed out that there was an 1/8" difference in height that had to be taken care of. All the other providers never mentioned this, even though they knew the backsplash was not being changed. Only when I mentioned it to the other provider, did they realize it.. At design time the gentlemen was very helpful in deciding which part of the stone to use. We changed the design of the island and they immediately were willing to work with us at no additional cost. On the day of installation, the crew arrived promptly at 9 am and were totally done by 2 pm. We also included the plumber from Konkus and he too was very professional and thorough in his work and made sure there were no leaks. Extremely happy with everything. Overall we only paid about $60 over the next cheapest vendor and we felt it was totally worth it.

They did a great job, process was easy, fast and they were on time. They did a great job, no hidden price, picked what we wanted and it was installed on time. Great company to work with.

The whole process went great. The only problem was there was so many items to look at it made the selection process hard and time consuming. Rob was very understanding and patient with us in trying to decide on which top material to go with.

Words cannot express how pleased I am with our beautiful kitchen, office and bathroom counters and our experience at Konkus Marble and Granite. Everyone was extremely professional from the sales guy to the fabricators and installers. I would highly recommend Konkus Marble and Granite, you won’t find anyone better!

The overall experience with Konkus was very good. They have a very nice showroom and huge selection of materials. We were able to find remnants that met our needs for each of the bathroom and this offered us a little bit of savings. A few days after our granite selection, we had someone from Konkus out to take laser measurements of each of the countertops and to verify the sinks that would be used. Approximately 10 days later we visited the store once again to take a look at the layout and ok it with regard to the position of the sink and bowl. All went well with the install except one of the bathroom already had a new sink installed and the installers (as instructed) did leave the sink but took the drain assembly without our knowledge. We didn't realize that drain assembly wasn't under the sink with the trap for hookup until our plumber came out days later. At that point, we really had no hope that Konkus would have the assembly so we had to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts. The granite looks great and the installers did a great job with the exception being the minor detail mentioned above.

I want to say how refreshing it was to work with Konkus. They did exactly what they said with no problems. They arrived on time for the measuring as well as on the day of installation. They were so professional and personable. It is nice to know that there are companies out there that still are proud of their customer service and work and I place Konkus in this category. When the installation was finished they left my kitchen clean and beautiful. I am so happy with this company and plan to use them again when we update out bathroom countertops.

I highly recommend Konkus for any granite or marble needs. We had them do 2 bathroom vanities, our kitchen, and our laundry room. For each room they came out and did a detailed laser measure, then you go to office and actually view the layout of the template on the granite or marble. You can adjust it if there's a particular part of the slab you like or want to avoid. Then they schedule you for install. The installers were very professional and left everything spotless. Our granite counters (Midnight Thunder) are my favorite part of the kitchen and look as good as the day they were installed 2 years later.

We met with steve who explained the process we would be going through..he took us out in the yard and we selected a few slabs for a quote...we received the quote in a few days and told him we were ready to buy...we looked at some quartz samples at another of their locations and decided on a pattern...we paid a downpayment and were put in the que for install.. we were offered a chance to selsect the part of they slab they were going to cut, but declined since quartz is a uniform pattern...on install day, two young men arrived and removed our 30 year old laminate counter top...They installed the new sections ( no seams) and installed a new sink..the entire process took a couple of hours..The installers were very careful not to do any damage to our home removing and installing....they beat lowes and home depos prices by $1000.00, and if you are doing granite, you can see what you are getting, not a small sample of what you might get...I would highly recommend Konkus for countertops
