On November 19th, Kevin Jarvis Tree Service dropped an 80 year old maple from my neighbor’s yard into my front garden, smashing two Japanese Maples, a shrub, and cracking my 1 year old sidewalk. Unlike most tree surgeries I’ve witnessed, they made no attempt to soften the blow by taking off some of the higher branches, just chopped it down from the bottom and let it fall. They promised (in writing) to make it right “to everyone's satisfaction,” but apparently they are satisfied with doing nothing. They have not made any attempt to contact me, and one of the phone numbers they gave me was out of service, the other one does not take messages, but tells you to send a text message, which is never answered. I’ve sent emails, texts, and tried to call with no response. My neighbor hired them on-site at another neighbors jobsite, where they used the name Bob Petty Tree Service, but the information I was given was from Kevin Jarvis Tree Service. Not sure why they used a different name.

Bought 1/2 cord seasoned firewood. Although not seasoned as much as I thought it should be, the price for the wood, delivery and stacking was very reasonable. In fact it was the best that I could find. Will definitely use again.

They were very responsive, they showed up when they said they would, stacked the wood where we asked them to & were very friendly. The deal was for a full cord, we got somewhere between a face cord and a full cord. The wood looks seasoned at least somewhat, but they were still spitting some of it when the first batch was delivered. Overall I am happy with the deal. They were 2/3 of the price of the next company.
