We began looking the next day, on line and then driving to Grove City the next day and every day afterward to scope out neighborhoods we were interested in. The first house we decided on need work, I,e,. Carpeting and painting and we signed a contract.We then hired an inspector and paid him $300 who advised the others issues with the house. He advised that the Radon levels in the area were extremely high . We found out that the seller was undergoing treatment for Pancreatic Cancer. My husband was a Cancer survivor and we told the Realtor were would not consider the house, she was able to get us out of the contract. Our problem with the Realtor was that every house we were we interested in she said was already under contract. I have lost count of the number of houses she took us through that were totally unsuitable. One for instance backed up to a strip mall and we advised her we would not consider it. She was also told that we eliminated homes by apartment complexes which she agreed was a good idea. We were quickly running out of time sine the Buyers financing came through sooner than expected . They gave us a small extension but we're not happy to do so. We continued looking, usually day and still were told by our realtor that what we wanted was "Already under contract" The house we wound up in is next to a Doctors Office, a Title Company and an Apartment complex. We would not have considered it off hand, but the Realtor brought us in from a direction where we did not see the businesses, etc. since we had only a week left in the extension, we felt. We had no alternative. What really hurt the most is when we left the neighborhood to go home, we saw it was also next to several businesses. I wanted to call the Realtor and cancel that contract as I felt we had been taken serious advantage of but my husband didn't think we could get out from under another contract. We hired another inspector who pointed out a few things but nothing as serious as we have discovered. To date, we have invested at least $20,000 in necessary updates and we are still not done. Some may say we were stupid and it's our own fault but we felt we had no way out and have no children who would have fought for us. My husband and I have worked hard all our lives and I think deserve better than the treatment we received. I wish now I had hired an Attorney, it would have been cheaper. By the way, the Realtor we went through teaches real estate classes on the side.

Very good! They were very knowledgeable and informative. They also helped with this new build and we just moved in six weeks ago. The cost of their service is a percentage, so they sold our house.

We were unable to sell our house without taking a huge loss. Since we have never rented property before, Keller Williams made the process very easy for us. When the market gets better, we will have Keller Williams help us sell our house.

Cathy Tallman made the process easy for us. The requirements for our new home were not common, so the search took a while. She was very patient. Cathy has stayed in close contact since the sale was finalized and even helped us get rid of some unwanted firewood. I will be using Keller Williams to sell our old house.

She was very good. We ended up renting in downtown Columbus. She was attentive and a go-getter. She was always available and willing to go look at a house for me when I was out of state. She would call and describe each room to me. She was very helpful and open-minded. She didn't pretend to know what I wanted. She put a relocation packet together and even searched golf courses. She was always on time and picked me up.
