Just Blinds

I called Just Blinds to get an estimate on installing blinds in our home. They had excellent variety, good customer service and they were very friendly. They spent plenty of time helping us select the blinds that we wanted and they gave us a set of temporary window coverings to use while the actual blinds were being ordered.

They are very professional and courteous. They are both very knowledgeable and gave me good advice.

Barry was prompt and professional. He was on time at all appointments which I find never happens now-a-days. Barry was friendly and eager to share the options I had. We decided on blackout shades so that my son will (fingers crossed) have longer naps. He took measurements and gave us a quote that was ultimately cheaper than he initially thought. After placing our order (with a 3 week wait period) we discovered that out skylights were leaking. Barry patiently worked with us as we had to gather quotes for skylight repair service (and 3 more weeks of order time associated with that). Once I let Barry know that our skylights were fixed he was at our house within 48 hours to install the blackout shades. It took a few hours and they look fabulous. He did a great job. It's nice to work with a family owned and family run company. I will recommend him in the future, although I think most everyone I know who needs window treatments already knows Barry!

It went GREAT! Carrie and Barry are both very kind people. They came out to our house together and got right down to business. Carrie, spent time helping us decide on the right colors and material. We felt very at ease with both of them. Barry, did a wonderful job getting the right measurements the FIRST time. When they left, we felt like we made some new friends! We ordered our blinds on 4/23/08 and they were installed by Barry on 5/6/08!! Barry even took the time to anchor three book cases to a wall that I told him were ready to fall over. Our home is SO much brighter now that we removed the dark shades that were here when we moved into this home. My wife and I are still shocked that we waited a year after moving into our new home before making this change! We love the way our home now looks. We are 100% happy with our purchase! Carrie and Barry Rosen are the best! Thank you so much for making our house feel like a home!

The owners of the company came to our home (one installs all purchases) and consulted on the appropriate options for window treatments. We have a house circa 1918 and the windows are large, the spaces are small, and the need for cohesive appearances are important. We saw virtually every option one could think of. We ordered, the windows were measure, and treatments were installed. This company is professional, efficient, collaborative, and delivered earlier than promised.

Overall a great experience. Carrie and Barry came out and spent the time with us to go through all the different options for us. They had multiple suggestions to help us along the way. Very good for personal attention, which is what we needed to walk us through the whole process and the choices available to us. They were on time for every appointment and flexible with our calendar. Came out for a second installation after the first blinds did not sit in some windows the way we thought they would. I'm guessing that they are more expensive than a discount blinds shop at the mall, but it was totally worth it to us to have the personal attention. I gave them an "A" for price as the price is good for Hunter-Douglas.

Overall, job went very well. Initially the products offered were too high end and expensive for my needs. When I presented a competitors quote, Just Blinds matched it (product quality level and price) and actually came in slightly lower than other quote on final invoice.

What can I say except that the Rosen's provide perfect service. I will never order blinds or drapery treatment from anyone else.

They spent a great deal of time discussing and showing me examples of the blinds they that could be used in my new office. Their recommendations were right on the money. Our blinds let in sun from the top or the bottom and that was very important for the comfort and aesthetics of our office. Installation was painless and neatly done. We were pleased with their competitive price and their willingness to offer repair services if needed.

Wonderful! I have used Just Blinds several times in the past and always receive prompt, courteous service. They are the only company I called when I was searching for window treatments.

Carrie and Barry were great! Only charged a little more than I'd figured out from a home improvement store but gave me wonderful guidance and selection. Both were a pleasure to have in the home, and everything is top quality.

Barry Rosen is really great to work with, he is very personable, friendly, funny, and he knows his stuff! On the first visit, he came out and accurately measured five sets of windows. Less than three weeks later, he installed the mini blinds perfectly and quickly. Usually, having workers in the house is very stressful and uncomfortable. Barry makes it fun! I highly recommend him. It is worth the price!

Enjoyed working with the very personable Carrie and Barry. They provided great ideas for our windows. Delivery was timely and the product is first rate. This was one of our best home improvement experiences. Looking forward to working with them again.

We relied on other Angie's List members' opinions in calling this business, and are glad we did. This was a positive experience for us from start to finish. The Rosens know what they are doing, and are quite professional - they show up when scheduled, were able to offer advice/recommendations that were meaningful to what we wanted to accomplish, very knowledgeable about their product, patient with our dithering, meticulous about installation, and very accommodating of our schedule, which involved considerable unexpected delay because of another contractor's scheduling problems. We are very pleased with the function and appearance of the finished project.

Barry and Carrie were excellent to work with. From our phone conversations through the home visit and all the way through the installation, the service was top-notch. Barry noticed our lower blinds (which I'd installed myself 18 months ago) had a minor issue in how they were installed. He offered to take care of it when he came back out to install the shades we'd ordered. When he came back out, he did take care of it, and at no extra charge. Things like that go a long way; you can tell this company cares about its customers.

Carrie & Barry are the best! This is the 2 nd time we have used them & I only wish that we had more windows in the house so that we could order from them again. They are personable, professional & efficient. They really know their stuff & when they are working with you, you feel like you are working with friends.

The total experience was great! We needed the blinds installed quickly and they were. The initial visit was great with good advice and help. We were kept informed and updated about when the blinds would be installed. The installation was a dream. Great consideration overall was paid to us and we really feel we got more than we paid for. A first!

Just Blinds was very flexible when scheduling the initial consultation and follow-up installation. Carrie knows the Hunter Douglas product well and was able to show me several options that fit my needs (insulated, no cords the cats can play with, etc.) and price range. The shades look great, are well made, and easy to use. They provided a great discount since I was an Angie's List member.

We greatly enjoy our window treatment from Just Blinds. They go above and beyond in the customer service arena. In this case, we'd not gone with a black out blind in our son's bedroom and then changed our mind. So, Barry promptly got back to us and ordered a new blind and was genuinely distraught that we couldn't use the blind we'd purchased from him just over a year ago. Unannounced to us, Barry discovered the window we had in our son's bedroom and over our kitchen window were the same size, so he moved the blind for us! So now instead of it going to waste, we have another great window treatment in our kitchen! You can't go wrong with Just Blinds, they have great products and Barry and Carrie are great people to work with.

We had previously redecorated entire family room, and window treatments were the last step. Carrie and Barry were a pleasure to work with. They were very knowledgeable about their product lines, very helpful, and very patient! They even came back a second time before placing our order to help us work through our indecision on the treatment for our patio door. At the time, Hunter Douglas was offering a mail-in rebate, which they made sure we were aware of. Barry did a great job installing our new blinds, hauled the old ones away, and offered to come back if we had any questions or concerns (which we haven't). The new window treatments are the perfect finishing touch to our family room project, and when we move on to our master bedroom project, we'll definitely be calling Just Blinds again.

Mr. Rosen was very knowledgeable about the product and was able to quickly help me choose what was best for my situation. I checked other places and his price quote was the best. He delivered in the time frame he promised (which was very quick). He was very personable and the installation went quickly and without any problems.

They were very professional, friendly, clean, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Great product too. Love the light-rise wooden and remote control blinds. Even got along with our two cats. Came back to install longer cords when manufacturer sent the wrong length free-of-charge.
