Just Blinds

The entire process went well - I am very pleased with the product we purchased and the service we received. It took a few visits from both Carrie and Barry before we placed our order as we were having a difficult time deciding between two products. Carrie happily came back to discuss the options with me and gave me her honest opinion about the pros and cons of each. We felt no pressure to buy a certain product or additional add ons as I have experienced with other window treatment companies. The products arrived quickly and were installed 2 days after arriving at their office. Barry and his son in law installed the blinds quickly and perfectly. They even removed old window hardware from windows in a different room that they were not installing blinds on - I didn't ask them to - they insisted on doing for me. We will definitely use Just Blinds again - it was a great experience!

Barry is fantastic! In addition to being an amazing golfer, it turns out he is amazing at installing shutters! We contacted Barry to get a quote on installing some shutters for our kitchen windows and French doors. Barry showed up when he said he would and was very professional and personable. He reviewed all the options and was able to provide a quote on the spot. Once we settled on having Just Blinds do the project, Barry stayed in constant communication regarding the status of our order and when we could expect installation. I purchased blinds for 3 bedrooms, my office and a bathroom. Just Blinds came out to give a quote, measure and advise. I purchased because Barry was extremely professional, knowledgable, prompt and courteous. Once the blinds came in Barry installed them on the scheduled date in a timely manner. Everything went very smoothly. Just Blinds has been a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use them again and refer them to others.

The installation went smoothly. The owner/installer is very friendly and sociable. He had the old blinds off and packaged and new ones installed in a couple of hours. He installed a total of 5 blinds over 3 windows. Before leaving he cleaned up well, described how to best operate and clean the blinds, and told us about the warranty.

I left a message on Sunday, November 10th and Barry called me back that very day. He explained that the brackets were covered under warranty even though they were 10 years old! I emailed him pictures of the brackets and he saw to it that the information was sent to Hunter Douglas. I received everything needed in 9business days. I was very happy with the service and will work with Barry in the future .

We are very impressed with Just Blinds. They were fantastic to deal with and provided quality service. We had 18 wood blinds installed, including one very large (5' by 5') power blind that was in the upper part of a 2-story foyer. They let us know that the blinds could take about 3 weeks to get, but that they usally got them faster than that. We had them in 1 week! These are high-quality Hunter Douglas blinds, not the typical less-expensive big-box variety. They were definitely more expensive, but (in this case) you get what you pay for! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family for blinds.

Had all the blinds in my house, which were 13 years old, replaced. My house has a lot of windows so it was not a simple job. Barry and his team replaced all the blinds in a very efficient and professional manner. He also took care of disposing of the old binds. I would recommend this provider to other Angie's List clients.

I just relocated to Westerville and was anxious to get custom window treatments. Based on previous comments made by Angie's List customers about Just Blinds, I gave them a call. Carrie came out on the agreed time/day with samples from Hunter Douglas blinds. We spent time discussing the windows and what would work and what wouldn't. My biggest concern was getting something to fit my kitchen windows. I took Carrie's recommendations about style/color and options and couldn't be more pleased. In less than 2 weeks, Barry came out and installed the blinds. They were exactly what I wanted and ordered and look fabulous. I am so pleased with the blinds, I am going to contact Carrie again and have blinds installed for the rest of my windows.

I was worried that they would have to send the shade back to Hunter Douglas for repair but Barry was able to make the repair himself. He changed out the motor and it is as good as new! I have used Just Blinds for over 10 years and there is no one else I would trust with my window treatments. The shade was under warranty so I was not charged for the service.

My initial contact with the owner, Barry Rosen was why we ultimately chose Just Blinds. His personality and commitment to what he does is obvious within the first 5 minutes of discussion. He's very friendly and easy to talk to; familiar, just like an "old friend". Just Blinds is an authorized dealer with Hunter Douglas, they don't even carry any other lines. Hunter Douglas is a very reputable company with a Lifetime guarantee on their product, which is the other main reason we chose Just Blinds. The only downside was the cost--they were a couple hundred dollars more than the other 2 estimates we received, but decided to go ahead and pay the additional since the product came with the lifetime guarantee, (which is worth it in our book)! We needed to dress (3) new Pella windows we had installed. We had interior trim installed to the 3 new windows, which meant that whatever blinds or shades we chose, would have to be custom made. Barry, and his son Brent, came out for the initial meeting which was very informative. Hunter Douglas has such a wide selection of products, almost too many to choose from :) Barry was well versed with all of the HD products and brought along sample items as well. Barry came back to our home (a month later) after our bedroom was painted, so we could pick a color of shade. He was very helpful with input on the shade type and color. He ordered a couple of samples for us to make our final decision, which took less than a week to arrive (directly from Hunter Douglas). We then placed our order, which had a turnaround time of 3 weeks. Barry contacted us as soon as the shades arrived and scheduled a date and time for installation. Communication must be rated 10 out of 10! Barry would always call to update us on arrival times, we knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it, which is very much appreciated. We are having our 2-story living room windows replaced as well as our sliding backdoor and will allow only Barry to take care of our window treatments! We'll need motorized shades for the higher up windows and Hunter Douglas carries those as well. Barry and his crew have earned clients for life. Excellent, professional, 3 thumbs up!

Barry came to the house promptly on the scheduled date, carefully measured the windows, told me he could do it, gave me samples from which to choose and the cost. I was thrilled that he was confident he could provide the blinds because I had had 3 other blinds' providers who either told me it couldn't be done or didn't respond to return calls. I signed the contract and the order was placed immediately. One week later, when he returned to install the blinds, he discovered one didn't fit properly and two were not with the order. He installed the others, taped paper to the overhead curved windows that were without blinds, and immediately called his supplier from my home. The order was corrected and the other blinds arrived a week later and were properly installed. They are beautiful and I'm very pleased with the blinds, Barry's installation, his courtesy, and his clean-up.

Following a recommendation from our trusted home repairs contractor and reviewing the Angies List entries, we contacted Just Blinds leaving a short voice message. We promptly received a phone call from Barry Rosen who provided us with an appointment at a time of our choosing. We initially only planned to address our four skylight windows. After reviewing the Hunter Douglas offerings, Barry measured the skylights and gave us a price for purchase & installation. We found the price to be very reasonable, and asked him to also suggest an updated treatment for our den/office window. Barry measured the window, reviewed selections with us and provided us with, again, a quite reasonable price for a quality product. Barry told us we could expect installation in two to three weeks. In less than two weeks, he informed us the Hunter Douglas products were in and ready for installation. He arranged for installation at a time of our choosing, promptly completed the installation as scheduled.

He gave great advice and was very helpful but I ended up using a different company.

They were great! The blinds came in quickly. Since we were also having most of the interior of our house repainted, we had to ask Barry to hold onto the blinds for us until the painting was completed. Barry brought temporary paper shades for us to use in our bedroom after the painters removed the old blinds for us (we decided we could live with open windows for a short time in the rest of the rooms or he would have given us paper shades for those too). And he offered to do the installation of all the blinds on a Sunday afternoon (painting was completed Friday) so we would not need to live in a fish bowl any more than necessary. The installation was carefully done by Barry and his son. The new blinds look incredible. They fit perfectly and were exactly what we ordered. Barry even replaced the broken header rail for our old sliding door blind (which was also Hunter Douglas) because I had use for it elsewhere. I highly recommend Just Blinds as well as the Hunter Douglas blinds they sell - quality all the way.

Carrie provided low key, professional approach to sales. She was very easy to work with. Barrie and his son installed the shades efficiently and accurately. Barrie and Carrie were enjoyable and fun. I will definitely use them in the future.

Barry actually showed up early for the first appointment...a first for a long time! He presented the product and gave us a fair price with discount for being part of Angie's List. The blinds were ordered as soon as we called and said we wanted to order them, and they came in a week earlier than anticipated. Barry came out on a Saturday to install them. The look is good, they are easy to use, and they do the job we wanted them to do.

I found them after searching Angie's List. I gave them approximate measurements for my windows and they gave me a cost estimate by return phone call. We looked at a couple of other companies before calling them back. The owners came to the house to show us the product, the sample colors and to make accurate measurements. Three weeks later, Barry came at the time we agreed on and installed the blinds. I think we could have had the blinds earlier but Barry was on vacation and we wanted him to install them. . The installation was careful and very neat. Barry showed us how to take care of them. I will use them again and I recommend them to anyone looking for blinds.
