Arrived on time; assessed the job and got right to work.

On-line sign-up for services was a breeze. Selected a 10am-12pm noon window which was confirmed via e-mail. Received a phone call around 11am on the day of scheduled service that they would be closer to Noon. Received another call or two indicating they were running late and would be there soon (which turned out to be 1:15pm). The two guys were cordial, professional and capable...they were just late due to some surprises in earlier pick-ups. I would only advise to use them earlier in the day to avoid as many chances to be "bumped back". We were ready by 9:45am for their arrival and they didn't arrive until over an hour outside of the selected/agreed time window. As we had a long list of things to do before Thanksgiving we wasted over 3 hours waiting for them. I was under the impression that they would be there within the window and had hoped they would complete the job by Noon. Please note that the quote was about what I thought it would be and it was provided once they surveyed the items to haul. The guys were fit, very careful and went about their work without complaint. They didn't damage any walls, floors or anything else, so they did do the service for which they were hired. They did apologize for being late. As this was the first time using their services, I would be a bit concerned using them again if I was pressed for time. The nature of their business makes it a challenge to stay on time so I don't wish to be too harsh. Would I use them again? Yes, but I would want to select an early morning time period and make sure I was not planning to be somewhere else shortly after the appointment window!

They arrived on time, quickly figured out how much it would cost, based on how much truck space my load would take. They loaded it very efficiently and were gone in about an hour. The were very polite and we conscientious of not damaging anything.

They did a great job, but I dont't feel like they were clear on how much stuff they could take based on the square footage of their truck.

Overall experience was a great one. They were efficient, professional and simply did a great job.

While there's the ability to schedule the pick-up online, I called on a Sunday and scheduled the pick-up. I had the choice of day and they offered many 2 hour windows for pick-up. I chose the one from 10-12. They called a half hour before they arrived and arrived at 9:55 am. Total of three men came. One wrote up the invoice while the other two picked up the TV like candy and carried it up and out of the house. I was charged the minimum rate of $86 and was able to utilize a 15% off coupon from Angie's list. Well worth the call.

Called them in the morning. They arrived mid-afternoon and gave me an excellent quote (less than renting a dumpster and loading it myself). They were able to complete the job that afternoon. The driver was polite and efficient. I was impressed and would use them again.

It was two guys that did it, and they were very friendly. They explained to me what they were going to do. They cleaned up afterward. They were very good and I would recommend them. I think I am going to use them again if I need to before I move. They gave me a discount and I appreciated that. They were really nice people. It was good for what I had. It was hard to dispose those beams and there was only one place where they could take it. They called and came here a bit earlier. I thought that the price was good for what I had gotten done. They did a great job.

It went well. The guy who runs it set up the appointment and everything went smoothly. They cleaned up after themselves. However, it would have been faster if they had brought their own equipment to haul the junk. They don't charge by the hour, they charge by the space used in their truck.

They were professional, courteous an most importantly good at what they do. Took about 6 hours or so.

My wife scheduled Junk King to meet at her mother's home on the morning of 04/14/12 at 10:00 am to remove and haul away junk, trash and furniture from the residence. The scheduler for Junk King my wife spoke to set up the pick-up asked what exactly did we have to pick up. She responded there were two beds, mattresses, many bags of trash, old clothes, chairs and tables to be removed. The women said, "Don't worry about lifting anything. Just point and tell them what to take." She did NOT say anything about any limit of how much trash to be removed but just to have the coupon when they arrived .The guys from Junk King showed up at 11:54 after getting lost because they had the wrong directions. There were three men in a "Junk King" truck. One came in to meet with my wife and to see what had to be hauled out from the garage. Showing him the receipt, he informed her that the coupon was good only for 1/8 usage of the truck. There was nothing in the original Big Deal stating we were renting only 1/8 of the truck for $69. To take the two beds, three mattresses, a table and approximately 30 bags of trash would cost an additional $388. My wife said she couldn't afford this amount. Instead they took a hospital bed and mattress, and a full-size box spring and mattress, but not the bed frame and left. It might have taken ten minutes for Junk King's representatives to remove these items and be on their way. There was nothing in the original deal, the fine print or from the scheduler anything what could remove being limited to 1/8 of the truck. We will now be looking for another junk removal service to haul away everything Junk King failed to. Had we known the limits of this "deal" we would never have engaged the dubious services of Junk King. This feels like a classic case of a "bait-and-switch." We were misled to believe we were getting a good deal, but if feels more like a rip-off. Junk King should change their name to Junk Scam. We would never use or recommend them to anyone and we may consider other actions to express our extreme displeasure with their shoddy business practices.

I overlooked the amount of junk hauling/removal covered by the deal. I asked them to clear my basement because I was having it waterproofed, and they seemed reluctant but did for an additional cost (almost twice as much as the deal price). I didn't have a lot down there and felt their prices were steep.

They gave me a time of arrival between 8 and 10am. They called around 8 to let me know it would be closer to 10, and to make sure that was ok, they also offered to call back again when they were on their way to my house. They were incredbily nice, made me feel comfortable, and worked very quickly. in around 15 min they gave me an estiamate, loaded up the truck, gave me my recipt and were on their way. They defenitly went the extra mile and were extremly willing to help. After this experience I would not use anyone else, will for sure help spread the word, and let all my friends know who to use next time they need hauling services. A for sure!!

I really liked them. They were extreme quick and really nice. My junk was more than they thought but they didn?t change the original quoted price.

I purchased an Angie's list coupon (regular price of $138). I needed a 2 sofas and a washer removed. When I purchased the coupon I assumed by the examples all would fit in the load. I even confirmed and told them what I had. When they arrived, they said it would be another $50. Who would pay $188 to have 2 couches and a washer removed?! I guess that's how they get you. Way too expensive for even what I paid. Never again.

. I purchased an Angie's List Member Big Deal Coupon for Junk King. I was glad to find a junk hauler who recycled or donated items as appropriate. Scheduling the pick up was relatively easy. Junk King needed to reschedule the pick up to the next day because they were running late on previous pick ups. This was not a problem for me as it gave me a little more time to select items to dispose of. I was grateful to get rid of items that would have been difficult to get rid of otherwise. The two workers removed a fairly large old television set from my basement and accepted tree stumps that the city yard waste recycling service does not take. I was pleased with the efficiency, professionalism and friendliness of the workers. I would not hesitate to call Junk King again.

I used one of Angies Big Deals so I could check out this company. I called to make an appointment. The person I talked to was very nice and very professional. They were able to accommodate my schedule and promised a call before arrival. They were true to their word. The guys that arrived to pick up my huge, broken treadmill and leaky rainbarrel were polite, professional and friendly. They had no problems getting the treadmill out of the basement (impressive!). Besides having a Big Deal I also picked them because they recycle what they collect. I will definitely recommend them to my friends/family and use them again. There is nothing I would suggest to them to change about their service.

They did a good job. They showed up at the time of the appointment and worked expeditiously to clean up the mess left by the stump grinder. The results were exactly what I expected. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We purchased the Big Deal as advertised. We asked in advance if they would be able to fit on the apportioned truck the items that we needed hauled away. They agreed that they could, and we scheduled the appointment several days later. They appeared on time. They were very friendly and professional about their work, did it quickly and carefully, and took everything we asked for the Big Deal price. We were very pleased with their service and would use them again.

They were very efficient and got most of it on the truck. If they had had an empty truck, it would have been better, but I did know how much room our junk would take. I would use this company again
