Carefully repaired my gas log fireplace

This was one of the best experiences I have had with this type of work! Highly recommend.

John took the time to check the co levels in my home and the effect the stove vent fan had on my fireplace. What he failed to do was show me when the gas heater was turned off in the sun room how the heater would act. ALso why the heater kept turning it self off, I finally read the book and it says it shut down based on oxygen level in the room. there were 3 of us and 2 dogs in this space so that must have been the problem. the next day I ran the heater with the dining room door open and it did not shut on and off. Thank You for a quick and clean service and safety check

John was thorough in his work. He examined two gas fireplaces over 4 hours, costing us $300. That seemed high given the original estimate was $95. He recorded high levels of carbon monoxide and told us we needed two cm detectors which we purchased. On return visit he examined chimney and cleaned out exhaust vents. Then said he didnâ t know why we have a heavy gas smell when lightning the fireplaces and there is no trace of carbon monoxide. Another $200. $500 and we still donâ t know the answer to our original question: what is causing the excessive gas smell..

We would highly recommend JMSM. John was extremely personable,professional and thorough. We had our gas fireplace inspected and cleaned and John took the time to inspect and test all parts. As a bonus, he educated us on the use in emergency situations...such as power outage. We are very happy.

Excellent service. Was running a few minutes late and texted to let me know. Serviced our fireplace and got it whipped into shape before the cold weather.

John was thorough when checking our gas fireplace. It had been suggested to us that the pilot might have been cracked. John cleaned the fireplace debris and said the pilot seemed fine once the area was cleaned. He was informative, answered any questions I had and took care to be careful when removing the debris.
