+ -1 moreHe said he needed $300 in advance to buy materials, so I gave him $300. We scheduled a time for him to begin the work and he never showed up. We scheduled several more times, each time he did not show. I requested my money back and he agreed, but it's been several months and he hasn't returned my money and he is avoiding me. I am now about to file a small claims suit against this scumbag.
Description of Work: Jim agreed to do plumbing work for me.

+ 0 moreI WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED AT MY HOUSE. I FELT THAT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID THE WORK TO TOP QUALITY. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND HIS PARTNER EVEN ASKED IF THERE WAS ANYTHING ELSE I NEEDED DONE. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS GOOD BECAUSE SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO FIND PEOPLE WHO REALLY CARE TO WORK.
Description of Work: MR. HOPKINS PUT IN A NEW WASH TUB IN OUR MUD ROOM. WE DID NOT HAVE ONE THERE BEFORE SO HE HAD TO CONNECT TO EXISTING PLUMBING. THEY ALSO DID SOME HANDYMAN SERVICES SUCH AS HANGING A CABINET, PUTTING IN A NEW LIGHT FIXTURE, FIXING A BANISTER AND DOORBELL.

Description of Work: CALLED THE DAY BEFORE FOR EMERGENCY LEAK REPAIR. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AND SHOWED UP. I ASKED HIM TO CALL ME FIRST BEFORE COMING. HOWEVER, I HAVE CALLED THE PERSON THAT WORKED WITH ME AND I WAS NOT SURE IF HE WAS AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS. SO I MAY JUST TRY USING THEM NEXT TIME. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR PROMPT RESPONSE.

+ -1 moreJOB 1. JIM DID A GOOD JOB. HE WAS ABLE TO FIX THE FAUCET INSTEAD OF REPLACE IT WHICH SAVED ME SEVERAL DOLLARS. JOB 2. JIM IS GREAT. HE ALWAYS SHOWS UP WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL AND DOES EXCELLENT WORK FOR A GREAT PRICE. I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN
Description of Work: JOB 1. FIXED LEAKY OUTSIDE FAUCET. JOB 2. I HAD A DRAIN TO MY BATHTUB THAT WAS LEAKING. JIM REPLACED PART OF THE OLD LINE AND TRAP AND TIGHTENED THE VENT PIPE. ON A EARLIER VISIT HE FIXED AN OUTSIDE FAUCET.

Description of Work: JOB 1 ($170): JIM INSTALLED A NEW TOILET AND LOCATED A LEAK. JOB 2 ($100): JIM REPLACED THE ORIGINAL IRON P TRAP TO A TUB WITH A PLASTIC ONE TO BE REMOVED EASILY SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO SNAKE IT ALL OF THE TIME.
