+ -1 moreJerry responded to our home and basically rehung the door which he stated had been improperly installed to begin with. (Jerry was not the original installer). Our storm door is now properly aligned and opens, closes and locks easily. I would highly recommend Jerry and would not hesitate to call him for future work.

Upon ordering the door, Jerry returned to complete the installation, which was more difficult than many due to the age, settling associated with my 100+ year old house. Nice to have someone well experienced in the trade to complete the installation.

+ -1 moreJERRY ARRIVED ON TIME FOR BOTH THE ESTIMATE AND THE INSTALLATION. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE HAULED AWAY ALL THE TRASH. HIS PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM. WE WILL CERTAINLY USE HIM AGAIN IF THE NEED ARISES AND I WILL HAPPILY RECOMMEND HIM!
Description of Work: JERRY CAME OUT AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE TO INSTALL 2 EXTERIOR DOORS. WE HAD OTHERS GIVE US ESTIMATES, BUT THE ALL SEEMED SO HIGH AND THEY KEPT TELLING US WE HAD TO SPECIAL ORDER THE DOORS BECAUSE THE FRAME WAS WIDER THAN NORMAL. JERRY GAVE US A REASONABLE ESTIMATE AND MADE SOME GREAT SUGGESTIONS THAT ACTUALLY SAVED US MONEY, AND WE DID NOT HAVE TO SPECIAL ORDER THE DOORS!

+ -1 moreA STORM DOOR WAS SAGGING BADLY AND WOULD NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. AFTER NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY THAT HAD ORIGINALLY INSTALLED THE DOOR, I CHECKED ANGIE'S LIST AND CALLED STERNER. ALTHOUGH THEY DON'T GENERALLY DO REPAIRS, THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. HE DETERMINED THAT THE DOOR HAD BEEN INSTALLED IMPROPERLY (MISSING SCREWS, GLASS TOO HEAVY FOR THE FRAME, AND FRAME OUT OF KILTER). HE ADJUSTED THE DOOR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I APPRECIATE HIS RESPONSIVENESS, KNOWLEDGE, AND WILLINGNESS TO HELP. I WILL BUY MY NEXT DOOR FROM HIM.
