The home was a foreclosed home that was distressed. It was a big job. It has been a very bumpy project. I hired Floit painting in April with the understanding that the job would be completed by the end of June. It was not completed by June and it is still not completed. I asked Jeff to stop working the last week of July. Jeff came back to me last week wanting $3500 more, and I said no. The work that is completed is not high quality. They painted over holes in the walls without repairing them, they didn't caulk doors and wood that they painted, and some are not caulked at all. You can see the previous paint through their paint job ( it was supposed to be two coats, and it's not). Door jams aren't painted on the sides. My mother and I had to paint the master bathroom because they didn't get it painted in time for the marble vanities to be installed, this was the end of June/beginning of July. The grids in my windows were to be painted white, they were not completed. He gave me a fifty dollar credit for painting the bathroom and a fifty dollar credit for not finishing the grids. I had to hire my carpenter to put the doors back up, attach the wood fronts to the master built in. I feel like he came in, worked hard initially, took on too many projects, and mine suffered tremendously as a result. He literally took my home apart and didn't put it back together. There are mechanics to a built in entertainment center that he never painted! I cannot even have the carpenter hang the doors back up until the mechanics get painted. I hired him upon recommendation, and after seeing his work. The work that I saw was excellent! I saw the before and after, and it was great! I don't understand what happened with this job, I think the scope of the project may have been too large for him. I am very disappointed and frustrated. I would have hoped that Jeff would have asked for the opportunity to make things right, but he didn't. Jeff chose to file a mechanics lien on my home. Unfortunately, I will see him in court. I would not hire him. The stress and anxiety that thus has caused is unfortunate, not to mention waste of money. I've had other painters in to give estimates in repairing, fixing, and finishing the job. I was so nice and accommodating to these people, I allowed his lab to come hang out when they would show up. He would show up for a short time and leave again for days. It was very frustrating for me trying to meet deadlines for other trades. He wouldn't answer texts or return calls. It is a very unfortunate situation that is far from over. Probably the most astonishing thing is that he sent me a slanderous text against Mexicans and I did hire a Mexican crew to paint the outside of my home and they were fabulous!! Also, astonishing was the threatening text he sent me that caused me to call the police to report it. Very unprofessional and shocking.

They were efficient, clean and did a great job. I will be using Jeff & his team again in the near future for both exterior and interior painting.

They painted 3 bedrooms, hall and stair way and 3 bathrooms. Great job

Very professional and tidy. No splattering or spills. Two of the rooms needed priming because of the dark color. Everything came out great. I am having them paint two more rooms for me after the Holidays!!!

They put 2 coats on and it took them 2 days. They showed up the first morning at around 9am and left around 6pm. They showed up the next morning around 8am and were done around 3 pm. They were professional, pleasant to be around and they did a fabulous job!! I would highly recommend them!! It was a great deal!!

Jeff was one of several people I had come to give me estimates. He was recommended to me by a good friend who had used him many times. When he went through my home initially, then gave me his estimate, I had a good, trusting feel that the work would be done well based on my conversation with him. That proved to be true. His price was very competitive. He gave an estimate of 2 weeks, and that is exactly what the job took. He and his adult daughter Katie showed up each morning worked a full day. They took care to caulk nail holes and do small things. Since I wasn't living in the house anymore, I trusted them enough to just give them a key to the house in case they got there before me in the morning. If he had any decisions to make about painting while I wasn't there, Jeff was sure to get in touch and ask me (even though I would probably have trusted his opinion over mine, as a "lay person" versus his experience as a painter). I DEFINITELY would recommend Jeff and Katie, and would hire them again.

Jeff always worked within my schedule. He went out of his way to make the job look perfect in every way. My contractors had not set any of the nails in the baseboard and he took the time to do all of that. When staining he spent a great deal of time and effort to get the match to cabinets and furniture just right. The end result was wonderful.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS MIXED. JEFF HELPED SELECT THE COLORS AND MINIMIZED OVER SPRAY FROM HIS SPRAYER. HOWEVER, THERE WERE SOME ASPECTS OF THE JOB WITH WHICH I WAS NOT SATISFIED.

FLOIT, WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH HIS PRICE, SERVICE, FLEXIBILITY WITH MY SCHEDULE, AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESULTS. HE EVEN HELPED ME CHOOSE PAINT COLORS. HE PAINTED MY KITCHEN, FAMILY ROOM, FOYER, STAIRWAY, PLAY ROOM, HALL, 3 BEDROOMS, AND 3 BATHROOMS. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO MY FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS.

MR. FLOIT HAS HIS OWN CREWS, SO THE JOB WAS NOT SUB-CONTRACTED--A PLUS IN MY BOOK. THEY WERE PERSONABLE, POLITE, INDUSTRIOUS, AND TECHNICALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR CRAFT. THEY WILL BE MY FIRST CHOICE IN ANY FUTURE NEED.
