It was good, very good. They came in, did their work and they showed us some samples of glass. They said that they would be back on a certain day and they were. They put it in, we looked at it and we liked it. It was done on a shorter time. Someone actually recommended them. It was a fair price for what we had done. They came out right away when I called them. It was within a day or two. They came when they said within 15 minutes. I thought that they were very professional especially the man that came out and talked to us. He told us about the product. He explained everything and very well. We liked the product and he gave us a good selection. I never saw the work and they were out there just doing the job. They came in at the end and they said that they were complete. I was very satisfied.

They were fantastic. They did a great job. They were very courteous. The work was done really well. They cleaned up nicely. I thought the price was comparable. They put in windows in the winter. They were very professional. I would definitely use them again.

I was thrilled with it. I had a great experience with them. They did a great job, and I thought it was going to be a mess, and he finished the job, and it was wonderful, and he cleaned up after himself. You couldn't tell that any work had been done down there, it was beautiful, and I love my windows. I am very happy customer. I thought they were wonderful, maybe I just had a great guy, he was terrific. They gave me a coupon as well for any kind of work they do. My sister had had them years ago, and she said she thought it was going to be more than that, when I told her the price. The price is very good. It is a tough job. They break the windows and do whatever else they have to do.

They did very well. They went in and they took the old window out, cleaned it all up, and they cleaned it up enough so we could keep it and reuse it, they put the new block in, cleaned up all their mess, and I couldn't even tell they were in there. I didn't have any issues with them. Their price is very compatible. They were very quick to get back to me, to schedule, arrived on time and did the work in a reasonable manner.

It went fine. They were very prompt. They were very careful about keeping the basement clean as they did the work. They explained it very thoroughly. It was good.

On time estimate, very professional. He gave solutions for venting our dryer which worked out perfectly. Installation was on time. Very professional and did a perfect job.

It went wonderful. This one here I would totally recommend. They didn't rush, they took their time. Two of the nicest guys and did nothing but work, work, work. Very professional. They were on time, extremely polite. They replaced the wood on the frame around it. It's beautiful and it matches the hangover. They really wanted to make sure we were satisfied. I thought the price was reasonable. They truly cleaned up after themselves.

They were very good. They delivered what they promised, and the sales person was knowledgeable. There was no fees for the consultation.

They gave an estimate. We felt it reasonable. We scheduled an appointment. They arrived in a timely fashion and completed the work. They did forget to give us a dryer vent piece, and we had to call them twice before the mailed the promised piece (which is why we are rating their professionalism as a B rather than an A), but otherwise, their service was good.

The installation was fine. There were no problems with that or the person who installed. The person who came out to give me an estimate on the other hand, was not as wonderful.

I called them, they scheduled an appointment with the sales rep that week, and he met with me and provided an estimate along with details about the product. We scheduled the installation and the installers came out on time, removed the old windows and installed the new ones. They were all polite and friendly and I was very pleased with their team and the results.

Overall the installation went well. The installer had to install a 1" concrete block to make the window fit properly. I understand why he had to add this block. I wish the salesperson would have identified this requirement during the sales process.

Went well, appointment was changed once to a week later. They give me plenty of notice and was even early on second appointment. Installed quickly with no hassle. Very profesional

Great! John came out and gave an estimate. There was no pressure and I was shown several options for the windows. We then set up a date for install. Travis came and got right to work. He did a great job! Very professional!

I set up a meeting to get an estimate at a new property. They did not show up. They did not call. I called the office after being stood up (in the cold). The service rep transferred me to the sales rep. He claimed would go to the property on his own and provide an estimate. I never received that estimate or any follow up on my request or his promise. This lack of responsiveness stole time out of my day. I could have been with my family instead of waiting in the cold for a man who never showed.

Columbus Glass Block was recommended by a friend who had work done by them. Received a quote from John Carter. He gave me a discount better than the discount offered on Angie's List. I could have saved another $150 if I had chosen the "economy" windows. John didn't pressure me to go with the better (more expensive) window. He assured me both are excellent quality. My original installation date needed to be rescheduled due to frigid temperatures and high winds (the windows wouldn't have cured properly). Travis installed the new windows on the rescheduled date. He had to break one of the old windows to remove it because it wouldn't open (they were 60 years old!) but he cleaned up the broken glass. Installation went great and the new windows look amazing. John and Travis were both on time, professional, and courteous. I'm very pleased with this company and would recommend them to others.

The office assistant was so helpful on the phone when it came to getting an idea on the size of the job and working with our schedules. Travis was on time and polite. He did a remarkable job on the windows and clean up was amazing. I have recommended Columbus Glass Block to a friend who was considering redoing her basement.

The hopper windows leaked and flooded our basement. Their information says water tight, but they said that doesn't mean they will keep water out if it rains just right. They were responsive to our requests, but made it clear that even though their promotional information states that it will keep water out, water may still get in. Keeping in mind that our 30 year old single pane windows didn't leak in the two years that we've lived in the house. We have since had to install window well drains to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

It went very well. They did excellent.

The estimator that came out was great. He took the time to discuss the benefits of the windows and how the process would go / what work will be performed. He was careful with his measurements (came out a second time to double-check before putting the order in) and was patient with me as I came up with the correct configuration that would look good on the house and save us money.Once the windows were delivered to them from the manufacturer they were able to squeeze us in right away.The two-man crew that did the install was great. They were prompt, friendly and cleaned up. And most importantly, they did a fantastic job.

I wanted to have my basement windows replaced with glass block windows. Went to Angie's list to find a recommended contractor. Called Columbus Glass Block and set up an appointment with a rep to come out for an estimate. John Carter was here on 10/1/14 to assess the situation, provide me with my options and answer all my questions. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He also went above and beyond to honor my request to have the installation done ASAP. Travis and Michael were here yesterday for an early start and completed the project in one visit. I couldn't be happier with how I was treated and how beautiful my new windows look. Also, the guarantee of material and workmanship for lifetime from date of installation is much appreciated.

I am very happy with my fabulous glass block windows! We had John Carter as our sales professional/expert and he made the decision easy for me. I had wanted glass block windows for years and I finally got them! We have a large ranch built in the 50's back when they put in lots of windows so we had 8 window openings in the basement. Travis came right on time and efficiently removed the old and installed all of the beautiful new windows. I am also going to have Columbus Glass Block install a new sidelight for my front door at a later date.
