The cost for this work is a little on the high side; however, there are not many options if you want glass block windows installed. Installer failed to put down any type of protective cover on brand new flooring during installation. As a result, new flooring has several deep scratches. Additionally, installer left dirt and debris all over installation area. Would not hire again.

I would recommend Columbus Glass Block to just about anyone. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, prompt. The price was great too! I called to get an estimate on replacing my original 1965 single pane basement windows that were just falling out of their frames. They were at my house with an estimate next day. They sent me a bio of the gentleman that came out to do my estimate so I knew who was coming. He was very courteous and professional. He explained everything to me, gave me my quote, and even a discount for mentioning Angie's List! We scheduled my replacements for 2 weeks out, which was perfect. They came out on a Saturday and were done within a couple hours. My basement windows now feel safe and are gorgeous. I highly recommend Columbus Glass Block.

In a word, everything was literally perfect. John came to our house on time. He was very personable, and professional. It was nice talking with him. He scheduled the job for Monday the 23rd qt 8:00am. The company called the Friday before to remind us. Two installers came out on time Monday morning, and quickly efficiently went to work. Isaac and Shawn had the old windows out in short order. The whole thing was done about 12:30pm. The crew is as good as it gets. They exceeded expectations by a country mile. A beautiful job and good people to work with. Highly recommended.

I called to get one small glass block window installed. On the first day, I left a message since it was after hours and I didn't receive a call back. I called and the telephone representative was more than apologetic and assisted me immediately for an initial consultation. The first rep that came was extremely helpful. He had a wealth of knowledge on basements, and was kind enough to answer questions I had regarding a recent flood in my basement. Albeit his function was for glass block installation, he was more than happy to take time to answer my questions since he had over a decade's worth of experience prior to his employment with Columbus Glass Block. This made me feel like a client, rather than a number. The appointment wasn't rushed, and there were no used car salesman techniques. I was so impressed that I called the company to give positive feedback. To my surprise, the owner of the company phoned me later in the evening to show his appreciation--that's customer service! There was a young technician who came to do the installation a few days later. There was a small issue that arose after the installation, however, the tech immediately corrected the issue with a little coaching from myself. Because of my overall satisfaction, I won't mention the issue, but I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking glass block installation. The window looks beautiful and there was no cleanup on either side of the window for me to do. Thank you Columbus Glass Block!

Installer arrived on time and performed job to specifications. Was friendly, detailed and cleaned up very well. Would hire again to complete several other windows that I decided not to do because of cost. Only negative was cost. They seem pretty expensive for the small basement windows.

The new glass block windows are fabulous. The old windows and all hardware was removed and the area was cleaned up. There were window well covers that the workman had to remove. They were held in place with screws and they were not replaced with the screws but rather just set in place. The drill bit screw drived that the workman used to remove the screws were left at the jobsite, so I used them in my own power drrill to resecure the window well covers.

It's wonderful! I love it. It made a 100% difference in our basement, which is fine now, all the time. They came right in when they were supposed to. We are still waiting on our driveway which has been about 3 years to get fixed. I was really pleased with the Glass Block people because they did everything that they said they were going to do. I couldn't remember the price but I guess I was pleased with it because I hired them. The quality of the work was good. It doesn't leak around the windows so it's fine. Their responsiveness and professionalism were good. I don't have any complaint with them.

So far it was okay. His name was Travis; he seems nice and polite. He cleaned up very well. To be honest I didn't see any mess in the basement either. The only complaint about I have instead of making a complete flab in the window; they used two different flab. They had to re-schedule the time and they were late.
