The estimate was easy to schedule. The estimator was on time, as was the installer. The windows look great.

The job was estimated by Mike. He indicated that his company had installed thousands of the windows. The company gave an Angies List discount of $25 dollars off the original price of $200. The job was scheduled the next week. The worker arrived on time and completed the job in an hour. The window was installed as a unit. It was cemented into place for security reasons into the block wall. The window looks great and I am very pleased with the job. They were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.

It was done promptly and with courtesy. Everything you want to see in professionalism. It was a good price. We got compliments from the neighbors. We like the look of them and the security. They have a good back office, the receptionist and the way they distribute the work is done right.

It went very well. The sales person was most helpful. The quote was $260 but because of our Angie's List membership, we were given $50 off (the coupon states $75 for 3 windows, and we were given a pro rata discount). The company called to remind us of the installation appointment. The installer arrived on the date and time arranged. The work was completed satisfactorily in just under 2 hours. The installer also did a good job of cleaning up.

The service person was pleasant and courteous. I was told he would arrive between 9 and 10. He arrived at 10:10. He had a problem with directions. The job took about 90 minutes. The only negative I have is the cleanup. After he left, I noticed on the inside of the window there were some cement pieces and some were on the floor. Also there was some white powder left on the drive, probably from mixing the cement. I cleaned it off with the hose. If not for this, I would give them an A rating.

Their work was very satisfactorily.

Estimate higher than other vendors.

Contacted company for an estimate, and the guy arrived on time to give me the estimate. Then scheduled the installation about a week later. The installer showed up on time and was very professional during the installation. The temperature was very cold during the installation, but the installer did not seem to mind. He knew exactly what he was doing and did a great job and even cleaned up after himself.

Great service. The person who came out to give me the estimate was informative and was sure to let me use the coupon from Angie's list (took $160 off the price). They were able to schedule my installation quickly. The person who installed the windows worked hard and finished it all in one day, he tried to keep the mess to a minimum and swept afterwords. I was surprised that they were able to install the windows during the winter. The windows and workmanship are guaranteed for life.

The windows look good and let in a lot of natural light which makes the basement more appealing. Should have done this years ago.

Great! Very professional service. Explained well their procedure and materials and gave us informative handouts. Gave us a discount since we mentioned we found them on Angie's list. They had to cancel the installation once due to very cold weather - that was the only inconvenience since I took time off work to be at home during the installation which was scheduled between 8:30 AM and 10 AM - they called to cancel at 9 AM, so I wish they had called at 8:30 AM or a bit earlier, but I understand they can't control the weather. We rescheduled and the installation went very fast the next day. Overall, we are very pleased with the product and the company.

February 5, 2007. Everything went just beautifully. The representative arrived on time and gave a written estimate and then spent time explaining all of the options and made suggestions. He was knowledgeable and very professional. We phoned back after getting an estimate from another company. The second company gave us some information that conflicted with what we had heard from Columbus Glass Block. I checked online with the glass company's website--and found that the info from Columbus Glass Block was correct; the other was misleading. Although Columbus Glass Block's estimate was about $100.00 more than the other, we felt more confident in their information and approach. The installer arrived on time and did an excellent, professional job of installing the glass block windows and cleaned up very neatly. With the drop to subzero temperatures this week, we are already noticing a reduction in drafts in the basement. We are very satisfied and would recommend them.

It went fine - except for the clean-up. The contact person, John Carter, was top notch. The work looks great. But - the worker left glass all over our basement and did not replace our window wells. I am still cleaning up glass 2 weeks after the job was done.

John Carter did my estimate. He agreed to do my estimate during the evening so I didn't have to take time off work. He was outstanding and really knew what he was talking about. I was dead set against getting vents in the glass block windows. He explained the various reasons why I might find the vents useful. They were all things I had not thought of. I changed my mind but only because of his reasoning. I did not feel pressured at all. The installation also went very smoothly. The installer arrived early and did a very good job. He had a very cold day to do the outside portion of the work, but didn't let on if he minded. He warned me not to open the windows for 24 hours until they were set. He did leave some of the insulation pulled away from the windows and I didn't know that until after he left. I waited for a day until the installation was set and then taped the insulation back up around the windows. Other than that, it was a very good experience.

The gentleman that they sent out was very very meticulous. You just don't find that kind of service these days. He was willing to answer any questions that I had. I am very satisfied with the final product.

Very satisfied. They seemed knowledgeable and efficient. The estimator made a slight mistake in size of the windows. The installer made the adjustments and I had slightly large windows at the same price. I would recommend them.

They came out right away and gave me an estimate. They offered several different types of blocks and let me see each before making a recommendation and letting me choose which style to go with. The windows were custom made and installed within three weeks. They did a great job, cleaning up very well after the project was finished. The windows look great and make me feel much safer than the traditional windows that they replaced. They did a great job and had a lower price than another estimate I received, especially after the Angie's List discount.

The first phase ( basement windows ) went great. They were done on time as promised. The kick-out panels and door were not done in a timely manner and only were done after repeated calls to the company.

This was in 1998 when we first purchased the house. They installed them well. They have not leaked at all and still look as good as the day we bought them.
