Great job from start to finish. I received an estimate quickly and on time, and the work was done about a week later. The worker was polite and efficient, and cleaned up after the work was done.

Simply fabulous. I do not know how they could have made this a better experience. The windows are great, even better than anticipated.

This company was very nice to work with. The estimator who came out originally (John Carter) was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He was able to schedule the work right away and was polite and easy to work with. Also, the man who came to do the installation was courteous, on time and cleaned up all of his mess. He did a nice job and answered my questions. Great experience overall.

Columbus Glass Block is a very efficient company to work with. They were prompt for their estimate appointment and took their time explaining their product along with the choices of glass block available. They were able to come early for their installation appointment and were finished in less than an hour. Would highly recommend this company and would use their services again.

I needed to replace my basement window (which had been broken by an attempted burglary). I called Columbus Glass Block and had an appointment 2 days later to get a quote. They were able to fit me in 2 days later. The installer arrived within the time they scheduled for me and had the job done within 30-40 minutes. The installer did an excellent job and cleaned up after himself. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

All went well. Professional, timely estimate by John C. after my phone call to set the appointment. Work was done professionally by DJ, on time and within the estimated time frame.

The initial visit by John to measure and give me an estimate went very well. He was on time for the appointment and was very pleasant and professional. He made it quite easy for me to accept his bid. Two weeks later, Travis came to install. I was very pleased with his work. He was also very professional. He was efficient, explained what he was doing, and cleaned the work area well. I also had the chance to talk with Shawn and found him to be very helpful in solving my concern for the window well covers that were damaged in removal. Columbus Glass Block deducted the cost of replacement from the total cost of the project. This was greatly appreciated. It will be my pleasure to tell anyone how pleased I am with the company's responsiveness, punctuality, professionalism, the glass block product itself, and the installation and cleanup.

Once we got the old metal frame windows out, the job went very well. The windows were shimmied for height, to assure a sufficient mortar joint, and then the windows mortared in all around, inside and out. Very nicely done, very professional, good cleanup after work completed.

The team did very professional work, the mortaring seems well done. The window looks great and the dryer vent works.

John was very precise in taking measurements, getting them both inside and out. We liked everything he told us about their process and where they would need to lay additional slabs to secure the aging foundations of the windows. While CGB is the most expensive (by a small margin) we will use them when we finally install the windows. We are completely renovating a house and are waiting for a few other adjacent projects to be farther along. When looking at our shower to put in a glass block wall, John noted that we were obviously handy given the amount of work we'd accomplished on the house so far and that we could save ourselves some cost of the shower wall by having them fabricate it for us and installing it ourselves. Something we will likely (with the help of a few friends) do!

Timely with the estimate and with the installation. Offered suggestions on how to "convert" 2 side-by-side windows into a single window in order to keep costs down, but produce desired results.

Everything went as planned. Prompt and cleanup when finished.

The installer called to let me know he was running a little late due to complications at a prior job. A little late turned out to be 3 hours. He arrived at 1:00 PM and told me the other gentleman who was going to help him install was still at the other job and wouldn't be coming. He quickly began the job of ripping out the old windows that needed replacing. He only took one short break and though I offered cold water and soda he declined. He worked until 9:00 PM making sure he had gotten the windows install properly and the debris cleaned up and even vacuumed my basement. My new windows look great. He asked if he could put a sign in the yard as advertising and I agreed.

Both the salesman and the installer were easy to work with. The installation proved more complicated than expected: the first window didn't come out of its frame easily and pulled some of the adjacent brick work along with it, which required the installer to re-mortar these bricks into place. He did so, and the resulting window and wall are now stronger than they had been before (the mortar in the wall had been cracking already and is now re-mortared and secure). Also, that same window fell over accidentally prior to actual installation, breaking a couple of its blocks, which required someone from the company headquarters to drive out with replacement blocks. All this meant the installer thought he wouldn't be able to finish the job in one day. But the blocks arrived quickly, and he worked on the other two windows in the meantime, and finished within the afternoon. I was impressed with his careful work and willingness to do whatever was necessary for a good solid job.

Mike arrived on time for the estimate and provided a better design then what I had thought of. The installer arrived on time and did a great job. The finished wall really adds to the new look in the bathroom. Very professional from start to finish. Thanks Columbus Glass block.

The project went very well overall and I liked the finished product when the project was completed.

Very well. Showed up as promised and finished the work in one day as promised. Mistakenly installed 2 vent windows in the wrong room. Came back and put a vent window in the correct room at no charge (and would have removed the extra vent window if I would have wanted them to). Windows look great. I have gotten a lot of compliments. Couldn't tell they had been there after they left.

Very business like appraisal. Gave written proposal, proof of liability insurance and bonding. Installer did good job.

They sent a salesman out who said he was the owner when he wasn't. I told my wife that I DID NOT want vented windows installed. When I got home my wife showed me the quote which mentioned 2 vented windows. My wife told me he said it was city code to have at least 2 vented windows in the basement. There is no city code for this type of work. Very unprofessional and sleazy.

The first small window went in fine but the second one was initially measured incorrectly and had to be remade. I called the office and got immediate and prompt attention. My window was put on a priority order and they were back out in 3 days just as they told me they would be. I found the owner to be responsive to my concerns and their error. They worked with me on the price and all was well in the end. The installer was courteous and forthright, since he was the one that pointed out the problem to me, he could have just put in the window and not made it as professionally installed as he did. I though that was an extremely honest bit of business--my primary reason for using Angie's List.
